Guardians Of The Galaxy

The ESA just confirmed that Japanese publisher Square Enix will indeed be hosting some sort of presentation during E3 2021, but now we know exactly what to expect. It'll take the shape of another Square Enix Presents digital showcase on 13th June 2021 at 8:15pm BST / 12:15pm PT, with the headline announcement being a new game from Eidos Montreal. This is expected to be a Guardians of the Galaxy game, which has been rumoured to be in development for a number of years now. The show will be roughly 40 minutes long.

The digital event will also contain an update on the long-awaited Babylon's Fall, a closer look at Life Is Strange: True Colors, and more information on the Black Panther update coming to Marvel's Avengers. Rather interestingly, there's no mention whatsoever of Final Fantasy. A new title in collaboration with Team Ninja named Final Fantasy Origin is heavily speculated to be in attendance later this month, and then there's the question of Final Fantasy XVI.

Perhaps they're being saved for a difference showcase? One that Sony itself may host? We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Nevertheless, it looks like Square Enix has a few fun things up its sleeve for E3 2021. Will you be tuning in? Let us know in the comments below.
