More Free PS4 Games and Offers Coming Soon, Sony Confirms

Love this program, if this means that Spider-Man PS4 will eventually become free, that means more can experience this amazing game.

It's like a mini Game Pass, except it's free, limited time, and you keep the games forever.

Love it! Way better than some of the Gamepass stuff because you can keep these games FOREVER!

@HotGoomba Honestly if they made Spider-Man Remastered free on the PS5 store I would be so happy that I could potentially save money when I get around to buying PS5 games for my console after my finals since I can just get Demon's Souls and regular Miles Morales

I think Death Stranding is coming. I would like bloodborne with a 60 FPS patch, I am really enjoying Demon’s Souls

I'd love if they dropped Uncharted 4 as a limited time free game on Play at Home. It was a huge game for them, it's old enough now that I imagine most of it's sales potential dried up a while ago and I don't already own it 😁

I'd be made up if it was Nier Automata. It seems to be relatively difficult to get a physical copy of the game, so if I had to get digital, a PAH copy would be great.

It will for sure be an old game they can use to promote a new game, like they did/are doing with R&C and HZD - so probably GoW.

@Ralizah Lost Legacy is the only Uncharted that hasn't been given away yet, be it on Plus or otherwise, so it is currently the odd one out there. I'd imagine it's coming up soon.

I'd say this is a perfect way to counter the xbox game pass dibocal of The Show 2021 buy they them selfs giving it for free but then that also has the potential to blow up in there face from the people that have already bought the game .

@Feena that would be a huge good will gesture that sony kind of needs right now. Coupled with the fact they just backtracked on the vita, ps3 stores no longer closing could be a good way to get the positive ball rolling

Theres so many really cool games they could throw at us...some old school arcaders like metal slug...hows about streets of rage 4? Any freebies are a welcome bonus but there is always going to be that "person" that moans about them..

@Ralizah Lost Legacy's probably a given. The Nathan Drake Collection and Uncharted 4 were both given away for free previously I believe

I would love to see a bunch of classic ps 1,2 and 3 games. Stuff like parappa the rapper, kurushi, vib ribbon, metal gear solid 1,2 & 3, mgs4, resistance series. The sort of games I probably wouldn't pay money for again, but I'd like to have easy access to on my ps5.

Loads of people mention games that are currently available (PSplus collection) or have just been recently available on PSplus monthly like God Of War, Bloodborne and Uncharted 4. Honestly that would be a bit of a kick in the teeth for anyone who has PSplus or has a PS5. Really hope it's something that hasn't been on PSplus or part of the collection.

To be fair they didn’t say that other update would be more games but... you know... it’s probably more games.

Give me GT: Sport, Dreams, and/or Amnesia: Rebirth. 3 very different games that would be awesome to get for free.

I've been slowly buying my games on Steam now apart from a few that I would rather play on my PS4.

Free games is a welcome gesture. Judging from the games they are giving away. HZD and R&C, we are going to get games that have sequels in line for PS5. It could be God of War or RE7.

I really don’t think Sony would be doing this if they weren’t struggling with public perception right now, but I love being the benefactor of all these free games. Lost Legacy would definitely be appreciated.

I hope its something I don't own but even if it is eh, more people get to try games I enjoy.

Being selfish I'd like Persona 5 Royal the most as that way I could bin my copy of the vanilla release and get to keep the enhanced version instead, played again at my leisure for no extra cost.

Another game I'd like is Resi 3 as I played and thoroughly enjoyed Resi 2 remake last year.

Maybe a smaller game like Observation as I've always been intrigued by it's premise.

If there is nothing for me then so be it, I've still got Abzu and Subnautica to play from last month's incentive plus other games.

Even though I’ve already finished it, I hope they give away Yakuza 0 so people can get into one of the greatest gaming series of all time.

For me, I’d like Tales of Berseria, as it’s one of those games I was just too busy to pick up.

In fact, because I have such a backlog, I wouldn’t mind if they gave away games I have on disc so I can trade them in for credit for future games, plus make playing them a tiny bit more convenient. So the likes of Skyrim VR, Dreams, Sackboy...

Horizon has been a big omission from my PS4 library for way too long, definitely looking forward to giving it a go at long last! Whether I have the time to finish it is another matter, but hey.

And then a handful of smaller indie games like last time would be cool - Dead Cells, Firewatch, Hyper Light Drifter, Moving Out, Guacamelee 2. Things like that.

The best thing about this is, even if you already own and played the game via PS Plus or PS Now, it's STILL a bonus because you get to keep it if you ever cancel.

I'm hoping for days gone since I've never played it but after the director calling us a bunch of tightwads I doubt that will happen. Probably God of War since Sony seems to be giving us games that will have a sequel soon.

Can't say no to free games although I rather have new indie games free like narita boy on gamepass or oddworld soulstroms on psplus rather than given old games for free that's already discounted next to nothing, since I usually buy most of games I like on day one or at least at first discount.

@Grimwood I like the “free” and agree with the air quotes . A lot of people think ps plus games are free but games with gold or game pass aren’t even though they’re both subscriptions and both very good services. Really impressed that this initiative is fully free and really respect Sony for this

I have both an Xbox 1 and PS4....with Sony putting all these free games out wonder why they didn't do like Xbox and put out MLB Tbe Show 2021 on there for free on PSNOW....I mean it would make sense...I downloaded it and have been playing it since day 1 and yes it is a great game however just doesn't feel right not playing it on the Playstation. Anyone else have any comments and don't put hateful comments. This is just one gamers opinion
