Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 614

freddquadros

This weekend I'm continuing the hunting of my Shinbakufu targets in Assassin's Creed Shadows. Just got another one yesterday. Man, this world is big, so many things to discover, loving it!!

As I finished Yakuza 6, now it's time to dive in the Judgment story. Always heard great things about this one, so I wil pack many hours in it.

In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth I finished the intense chapter 12 (and got the pair I wanted all along). Now, chapter 13 awaits... Even knowing the story of the OG FFVII (completed that one 3 times back in the day), I'm very curious for what will happen here. We will see...

And, as always, if time allows it, I'm thinking about returning to Hades. Never saw the epilogue, maybe I can at least hunt for that. All this talking about Hades II brought me memories.

Carry on my friends!!

I'm wrapping the remaining content of the Valey of Memory DLC from Assassin's Creed Mirage, so I can return to the excelent Shadows. Also, more Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Getting close to the end, but there is many things to do yet... I will beat some stages in Blood Omen 2 as well. If time allows it, the final touches in Yakuza 6 or more The Last of Us Part 1.

I wish a happy New Year for all our gaming conrads here!! Push Square has the best gaming forum I ever seen on internet. Here for many more years!!

I'm not sure of the free time I will have this weekend, the plans are in flux. I was reading the SNK fandom wiki this week to pass the time, so I think I will give a spin on Metal Slug Anthology, long time I played the franchise. I'm doing the last things in Yakuza 6 before I jump to the next game, Judgement. Tomorrow, I will cheer for my soccer team, Corinthians, in the final game of the Cup of Brazil. We need that trophy.

Re: Disappointment as PS2 All-Timer SoulCalibur 3 Launches on PS5, PS4 without Trophies

@elvisfan1 I enjoy the trophy system because it gives a more tangible way to track our progress and achievements in the games. Also, we can come back and always look again to our collection, appreciate the effort and reminisce about the moments. And it is a good way to see how other players fare in games, their story with the medium and so on.

I can't deny the dopamine either, feels good to see the pop up when we get one of them haha I'm not a obsessive trophy hunter, I get the platinum when I can, if not, I move on. But yes, for all I said above, I preffer when games bring trophy support.

I will have a extended weekend, with a municipal holiday, so I will play a lot more games than usual. I reached the Nibelhein region in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, so to keep exploring it. I will hunt more targets in Assassin's Creed Shadows. I got the hang of the game, now I'm feeling more efficient in clearing the huge amount of content.

In preparation for Death Stranding 2, I am playing Death Stranding: Director's Cut, to see the new content. I think I am close to wrap it up. And I will put some hours with The Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2 and Sword of The Sea. A very happy weekend for you all!!

@gaston Play the FFXVI DLCs. They are set before the final mission (Origin), so, the ending remains the same. Both DLCs feature great combat, and the 2nd brings 2 new eikon movesets. They were instrumental for me to beat final fantasy mode. Rising Tides happens in a very beautiful locale and the story is very touching. I think you will enjoy them.

Finally reached Nibelheim in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Just imagining what I will find there. This game is so much bang for our buck. Also, continuing Assassin's Creed Shadows and it's the most chalenging of the RPG ones for me. But I'm prevailing.

I plan to advance on Blood Omen 2 and The Last of Us Part 1 as well. Let's move.

Exploring more and more of Japan with Assassin's Creed Shadows. The game is huge, a ever growing list of targets. Gonna hunt them all...

In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, I'm about to reach Cosmo Canyon's main town. Eager to reunite with old pal Bugenhagen.

Playing Sword of The Sea and will start The Last of Us Part 1, as my girlfriend likes to see me play those games. Let's go!!!

Re: Preview: It's Mine's Time to Shine in Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties

freddquadros

I played Y3 last year, as I started a full series gameplay with Y0 (but played YK1 before when they gave it on PSplus). Yes, for now Yakuza 3 is the most archaic of the bunch, but the story is truly great, full of heart! The gameplay is serviceable, it's not horrendous.

I will play Kiwami 3 down the line, I became a fan of the franchise, so any new piece of lore is a must for me!!

I'm playing Assassin's Creed Shadows, and dudes, it's challenging. Maybe it's because I'm in the 1st chapter and not strong enough yet, but I'm finding it harder than the other RPG ACs. But foward is the way. I'm clearing the BIG region of Gongaga in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth as well, and more and more closer to end the content of Borderlands 3.

Yeah, 3 big games. So little time... Happy 600th, my friends!!!!
