The final update for PS Plus goes live today, and is already available in some territories, which means we now also have the list of PS5, PS4 titles leaving the service in January 2026.
The following four games leave PS Plus Extra on 20th January 2026, as per the Last Chance to Play section:
- Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (PS5, PS4)
- SD Gundam Battle Alliance (PS5, PS4)
- Sayonara Wild Hearts (PS4)
- Monopoly Plus (PS4)
Unlike the PS Plus Essential tier, where you gain access to the games for as long as you subscribe to the service after redeeming them, the PS Plus Extra tier revokes access once the titles depart. If you want to continue playing any of the above, you'll have to buy them after 20th January 2026.

As the expiry date is still more than a month away, there's still more than enough time to start and finish any of these games. Sayonara Wild Hearts is the shortest at around just two hours, while SD Gundam Battle Alliance is the longest at around 18 hours. The Yakuza spin-off title, The Man Who Erased His Name, sits in between the two at roughly 12 hours long for the main story.
Are you moving any of these games to the front of your backlog? Let us know in the comments below.

I should probably finish Gaiden then. It’s not brilliant to be fair, a very odd inconsistent game.
Sayonara Wild Hearts is a brilliant little experience you can play in one, or two, short sittings. Give it a go before it leaves. Will have to play it again before 20th Jan!
@themightyant sounds good. Will give it a try.
I intended to play Ishin but skipped it because I couldnt be bothered with the reported serious grind, I've had this one on the "to play list" too, hearing its comfortably the shortest yakuza game to date, I think i'll knock this one out
Sadly the Like a Dragon games always leaves too fast. At least they gets very good discount in sales.
I purchased a copy of Gaiden while on my trip to Japan back in May and I super enjoyed it. Funnily enough I have not yet played any of the main Yakuza games but I still really enjoyed the story in it.
@themightyant I ended up buying it after the wario style mode was added 👍
