I think 2027 is a safe bet. They have many of the assets ready now, and even more expertise with the engine. I won't be surprised if we get a teaser trailer in June or July.
Well, this at least indicates they can remaster the original Sky games already. If they decide to not remake Sky The 3rd, at least they can bring a PS4/PS5 port.
Well, I'm in. The new story additions are a great reason to play this new version. Black Flah was a excelent game back in the day, so Resynced is a sure hit!!
Assassin's Creed Shadows. Just eliminated the last regular Shinbakufu (that damn guy with the 659176 shinobi put a hell of a fight).
Trails in the Sky First Chapter. This game is so engaging that when I am at work I keep thinking about it.Still in chapter one of the main story, doing all cases and sidequests.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Just finished the main story, what a ride!! Now to do all the remaining side content and grab my platinum.
Here hoping they release Wild Arms 5 too someday. I had that game on PS2 but never finished it. Got close, but my disc took damage T__T Never saw the ending. The game is a solid JRPG too!!
For my money, Michael Fassbender was always the perfect actor for both Solid and Liquid Snake. It's more complicated now as he is nearing 50 years old. They will search for a younger actor, for sure. Missed opportunity.
I like to hunt trophies a lot (not in a obsessive way, I can sleep without getting plat in a a game), and can't think of many improvements. Sort them in alphabetical order would be great, to check and show the progress in games of the same franchise, like Devil Mat Cry and Assassin's Creed, fo instance.
Trophies are an indispensable part of my gaming experience now, as they are a tangible memory of the many moments I lived in the games. I like to apreciate them form time to time. Better ways to do that are the way.
I'm surprised it will come so soon, as we saw nothing of the game, not even a screenshot. I'm playing Shadows still, but will watch the reveal with interest. I loved Black Flag, it was a great entry in the franchise.
This lack of funding and David Cage bad reputation won't help this game see the light of the day. It showed promise, and exploring the High Republic era was a plus, but I don't believe Eclipse will launch anymore.
@GamingGod heheh, life, back pain, more expenses, but we will thrive. I have a good woman by my side, who upholds my gaming hobby. God bless you my friend!!
Today is my birthday, 40 years in this planet. Beyond the festivities, some gaming when time allows. Marvel's Spider-Man 2, this incredible sequel, Assassin's Creed Shadows and Trails in The Sky First Chapter are my picks for these days.
I bought the PS4 version a time ago, in a sale. I hope the upgrade is free like it was with Darksiders II, which I was playing but it's current on pause.
I'm almost 40 hahaha, well, I'm a FF fan for more than 20 years. I don't know if age really factors here, but at least in Brazil I notice youngers gamers gravitate a lot around Roblox, Minecraft, Free Fire and soccer games.
My favorite is the original Resident Evil 2, to this day. That game made me feel emotions I had not in gaming before. It was, along MGS1 and FF VII, the game that showd me that vide games could bring truly emotional stories. That Scenario A-B idea was a stroke of genius, seeing the B scenario reflecting our A route actions.
And the third act of the game, OMG. The music, that alarm, the action, TOP NOTCH. Sorry for the Remake, but for me the original version is superior. The real ending, the way the camera cuts when Leon or Claire say their last world, the credits roll and a rock song plays... For me it was a unforgettable experience.
I like this franchise, played most of the games, but what I felt in RE2 i never felt since. Shout out for Resident Evil 5 too , my 1st platinum trophy. Played that one a lot, loved it too!!
@Tasuki The Psycho Krieg DLC is very hard in some parts (some bosses are immense bullet-sponges but the story is really touching, from beginning to end. Seeing why Krieg is how he is, the traumas and losses he endured, and how he overcomes it, was quite surprising in a game like Borderlands. The best DLC indeed.
This week I finally jumped into the Trails train. Trails In The Sky First Chapter, what a beautiful game. Still in the 1st city, but I can already see why the franchise is so well regarded. The worldbuilding is amazing, the characters are compelling and interesting, and the combat system is varied and engaging.
Also, I'm playing Judgment. Just started chapter 4, and the plot keeps giving. I will continue Marvel's Spider-Man 2, this great showcase of the PS5 power, and Assassin's Creed Shadows, which I think I am more than halfway the main story.
The original MediEvil is one of the most beloved games of my entire life. I did 100% countless times. The structure of the game helps, as you can complete the game straight, without almost any backtracking. Of course I bought that remake and the platinum.
Not too hard, for me it was a pleasure to revisit such great, funny and nuanced story from my youth with fresh eyes. All hail Sir Daniel Fortesque!!
Wow. I always wanted to dive into the Trails franchise, and just bought Sky 1st Chapter yesterday. Soon I will commence, and go all the way. Can't wait.
Was playing The Last of Us Part II Remastered yesterday, a game I got the PS4 plat in 2020, and was surprised by a certain event. Funny how much time passed since that game launched. Still a amazing one, even better thar Part I.
I'm playing Marvel's Spider-Man 2 as well. Incredible showcase of the PS5 technical capabilities. The fidelity mode runs really well, the game is a blast.
Making good progress in Assassin's Creed Shadows too, and in Judgment got my first girlfriend haha
I'm fine with that. Look, I love Valhalla, but the game was enormous. Took me more than 300 hours to do everything there. And I think they are pivoting to AC Hexe and BF Resynched, so I understanding the shorter support. Shadows is quite big as it is now.
Very good to read all this. Can't wait to know more about Hexe, Resynched and Invictus. Transparency and patience to develop the products is the way to go.
