Clair Obscur for the win!

Love a sci-fi horror! Looks fantastic; day one for me!

My top two are Silent Hill F and Death Stranding 2, which are currently tied for second place at 8%! Yotei, of course, is the winner. I’m also super pumped for Cronos, and Nina Gaiden: Ragebound looks awesome. Honorable mention for Hell is Us, Shinobi, MG Delta, Daemon X Machina… Good lord, SO MANY AMAZING GAMES COMING!

Nearing the end of Act II (I think)—can’t get enough! Glad to see continued fixes, although my play through has had next to no issues. My only problem has been the terrible shimmering from hair shadows during cutscenes—so immersion-breaking; hopefully they can fix this down the road… Amazing game!

Looks really cool. Hope it turns out good, but the state of those recent Pokemon games makes me reeeeeal skeptical

Fell of Code Vein pretty quick, but there was a lot releasing around that time, if I’m remembering correctly. This looks decent enough!

Mortal Shell was fantastic! Loved the ‘hardening’ mechanic, collecting and switching shells, and getting knocked out of your shell as a final hail mary; game felt super inventive and was a lot of fun to play. World was weird as well, with great art direction. This is an awesome surprise! Really good trailer too!

Cool, but nah, no thanks. I play these games to take my time, explore, and strategize. Solo help or not, this is just not for me. But we know that their are plenty of folks out there enjoying this game—the From multiplayer heads are probably living their best lives right now!

Such a brilliant game, hope they can work it out. I finished it on my vanilla PS5 right before I got the Pro, but will absolutely replay on my Pro once they patch it.

Not surprised that this has performance issues, Elden Ring was disappointing in that regard as well. Love From, and looking forward to whatever single player experience they release next, hopefully on a new engine.

The choice to not switch to Abby’s story sooner was a horrible one. The aquarium scene was robbed of every ounce of emotional impact, because… who are these people again? Just one example, but feels this way across the board. Part 2 is, in my opinion, a masterpiece of a game, which frankly deserves better, especially given the divisive response it received when it came out. They really sh*t the bed with this retelling.

I’d love a remake that is more aligned with 2, where we can shoot and use powers at the same time.

So tempting… But do I REALLY need all this stuff…

Garland can do it! His film career certainly isn’t perfect, but he’s made some great stuff, and I trust that he can do something interesting. Hopefully they let him get real arty and weird! Absolutely wild though, that we’re living in a world where a FromSoftware game is being made into a feature film… 🫨

Absolutely loved Stellar Blade! Hoping for a greatly expanded combat system next time around; different weapon options and multiple skill trees would be awesome!

Too many amazing action games these days to waste time on a “generic… bland… uninspired” game. Amazing combat is great, but if what you’re fighting for and against sucks, then ‘’meh”. Maybe on a deep sale…

Never played this. I really enjoyed 11 though; the towers mode kept me coming back. I’ve been a lifelong MK fan, so I’ll probably pick this up in a year when it’s a whole lot cheaper.

Big Lovecraft fan, always wondered about this game. Sounds like this remake will hopefully address some of the apparent issues with the original.

Yeah not feeling it. The pacing is all off and the whole thing is really falling apart, plot wise; beginning to feel like a pretty poor adaptation. Especially disappointed with the Serephite scene; over all too quickly, especially given the title of the episode. Meh.

Season 1 was absolutely awesome. Can’t wait!

Glad I cancelled my physical preorder for this. Looks like I’ll be buying digitally when it’s on a DEEP sale a year or two from now, if at all… 🤷🏻‍♂️

After finishing Alan Wake 2 recently, I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for Control 2!!! Remedy is on fire right now!

Absolutely cannot wait! Summer break for me, couldn’t come at a better time! My Switch 2 will be collecting dust on its dock come June 26. Yeeeeeah!

OVERdesigned? Nah, could actually use a bit more, I would say. It’s nice; I like the drawbridge logo and the details on the side. That said, I’ll likely pass…

@Stamp_Monkey I would encourage you to try again! Perfecting parries and dodges against challenging mini bosses and going for a perfect (or almost perfect) fight has helped me win in moments where my team couldn’t have survived otherwise, and has been one of the great joys of my time with the game so far. Of course, if your enjoyment of the game suffers, then just turn them off and live your best life and have fun with it!

Only about 11 hours in, but I give it a ONE THOUSAND OUT OF TEN so far

Loved the first game for about 30 hours, then completely ran out or steam. I tend to take my time with game systems and grind out levels and such (love some power leveling), so as soon as I hit the level/skill cap I was just done. The story wasn’t engaging enough to make me continue, unfortunately. Also way too much cut and paste open world stuff. Combat got stale as well. So lots of improvements to be made, for sure, but I am confident that Sucker Punch will deliver.

Tried it this weekend and it does look fantastic. It’s been a while though, so boy did I get my a** kicked!

It is INCREDIBLE! Can’t put it down, can’t stop thinking about it. Game of the year!

Haven’t been a subscriber of PS Plus for ages because of the high cost, and not going to start now, even with my love of FromSoftware games; so it’s a hard no for Nightreign.

Duskblood, on the other hand, I will end up playing simply because Nintendo’s service is more affordable (for now…).

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has its hooks in me—what an amazing game!!!

Finally started Expedition 33 this weekend, and WOWZA, what a game!! The world and story are super engaging so far, but the combat! The COMBAT!!! So incredibly awesome. Highly recommended y’all!

Lost interest in GTA over a decade ago, so nah, not at all pressed!

Loved the first two games, but haven’t touched Borderlands in ages. This was a fantastic State of Play; game looks awesome and may just get me back into Borderlands.

Can’t wait to start this!!

Looks creepy-beautiful and challenging. I really enjoyed the music (pre-monster transformation). Seems like one to look out for!
