Capcom has announced it'll be hosting another of its Spotlight livestreams later this week, having just put out Resident Evil Requiem. For the first time in a while, the showcase won't contain any Resident Evil titles at all. Instead, this is what will be part of the show:
- Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
- Pragmata
- Street Fighter 6
- Mega Man Star Force: Legacy Collection
- Mega Man: Dual Override
One interesting detail is the omission of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which was last confirmed for a 2026 release. The game has been shown off in numerous trailers, though, so Capcom may be waiting for a final release date it can share.
Capcom teases the latest information and news surrounding the listed games, with the livestream set to last roughly 30 minutes. It takes place this Thursday, 5th March 2026 at the following times:
- North America: 2pm PST / 3pm MST / 4pm CST / 5pm EST
- UK/Ire: 10pm GMT
- Europe: 11pm CET / 12am (Fri) EET
- Asia/Oceania: 7am (Fri) JST / 6am (Fri) AWST / 9am (Fri) AEDT
"The Capcom Spotlight is a digital event that brings you the latest news from Capcom," the webpage states. "Tune in for the latest information about Capcom's upcoming releases." Past livestreams from Capcom using this format have been relatively lowkey, but there may be a more significant announcement for the listed titles in there somewhere.
Is there anything in particular you want to see from these games, all of which are already on PS5 or will be releasing for the system? Let us know in the comments below.

Finally got at to playing the Pragmata demo, and it's pretty good. The hacking while aiming/shooting mechanic is interesting, and the whole asthetic reminds me of Binary Domain.
SF6 is stagnant and needs more characters; reveal & drop more (returning) characters Capcom, what’s taking so long, it’s year 3. SF4 was stacked around this time. I’m anticipating my mains to come back
The Pragmata demo sold me on the game, it played way better then I thought it would. Also very surprised Onimusha is missing from the spot light.
Pragmata looks great im guessing ominushi is being released this year? Been a long time since we had a new ominushi game
These Capcom specific shows are usually pretty low-key. So I wouldn't read into Onimusha not being here too much.
Still should be a nice way to pass the time. Looking forward to the SF6 portion to see if we get notes for the upcoming balance patch.
I'm intrigued by Pragmata's gameplay (it's good but I wonder what kind off longevity or complexity it will have) but the art style and the design of the little girl are off putting for me (it looks a lot like a prettier Vanquish but still too clean)
Onimusha delay incoming? They've been surprisingly quiet about it. Excited to see the new mega man villains.
Couldn't care less about fighting games. Love seeing the art but hate playing them. Monster Hunter Stories is animeslop so blah.
Damn nothing on the mh wilds expansion 🧐
Hopefully they tease Ingrid for SF 6.
It's been a few days, and already I want Resident Evil 10. I can't get enough of that series I love it so much.
Onimusha missing means Capcom target it for summer or fall release, which hopefully not in the same time as Wolverine, Phantom Blade 0, or GTA 6.
@AdamNovice I doubt they show Ingrid when Alex not yet release.
@PuppetMaster Yeah probably. Would like to see more costumes though.
That's such a W imo. Drops a huge successful release and a week after a showcase
@AdamNovice Good chance they'll show costumes because a lot of characters not yet have costume 4. Even Sagat and C.Viper not yet have costume 3. But i can see they held a specific showcase for SF 6 after Capcom Cup 12.
I really need Onimusha release date. Already in Requiem and after the demo Day 1 for Pragmata. Next is Onimusha...
still want news on Code Veronica remake and how about a Dino crisis remake
I played the Pragmata demo and while it was very interesting, I was a little put off by all the invisible walls.. like, why can’t I jump on the boxes and stuff to reach higher.. it was also pretty lackluster for me in the graphics department and I’m playing on a Pro with a Bravia 9 🤨..
But Tbf I’m only interested in CAPCOM now in terms of the RE series so who am I to judge lol
Only one that interests me from that list is Pragmata, but I will definitely be pre-ordering it anyway, so I'll not bother to watch the showcase. Hopefully those that do watch it enjoy that which is shown...
Onimusha way of the sword look so good.more games.is welcome. Word up son
@nomither6 Which street fighter character was your main?
I’d really love Capcom to remaster or remake Chaos Legion, PK, Shadow of Rome, Dino Crisis 1&2 and Gregory Horror Show one day but sadly I don’t think they will
@PuppetMaster
Kinda strange you say that as Mega Man Dual Overdrive isn’t out till next year, they’ll save Onimuhsa for another showcase at some point I reckon there’s the Summer Games Fest and TGS so maybe they’ll show it at one of those
I hope they don't sideline onimusha as they did the last 20some years.
An update for okami 2 would be very welcome as well.
Pipedream announcement would be a new God Hand.
@Dragoon1994 For Dual Override, i heard they gonna announce the winners for Robot Master Design Contest. Onimusha only need a release date but they definitely will have another showcase for the game.
Pragmata looks cool, but since I've already decided to pick that up on Switch 2 (as I do with every game that as an amiibo for me to waste money on), I don't really care about anything here. Hope it's killer for folks who are looking forward to those other games, though! It would have been nice to get a confirmation of progress on the rumored Code Veronica remake, though.
@nomither6 I know it’s a pipe dream give me dark stalkers characters
@INeedGoodGraphics sounds like the road map is cv remake , zero remake and then re10 , and they recently met to talk about the future maybe re5 and re1 remakes ? Then re11?
The first thing I thought of is maybe they’ll tease code Veronica remake maybe the next one
@nomither6 agreed. Five months between C Viper and Alex is just wild.
As long as it isnt mostly Monster Hunter, I’m interested!
Definitely will be passing on this one.
@ColdHandGee I have a few characters I use in rotation, but my most played is Adon
No onimusha??? Strange
@Yor-sama they seem to be doing a lot more of these spotlights , so i could see it getting its own.
just saw a rumor that the road map is code veronica remake , zero remake , re10 , and early production of resident evil 1 remake has started. hopefully this rumor is true.
Already have MHS3 preordered and paid for, but for my S2 instead as its my de-facto Monster Hunter machine. If World or Wilds comes to it, I'll be one happy hunter!
It came to mind that the Mega Man DLC for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds might be here.
Crazy to see Capcom releasing games at such a high rate, like it's the PS2 era all over again, yet so many big dev teams are struggling to release 1 game this gen!
Definitely will play Pragmata and Monster Hunter Stories 3 will be a must buy and masterpiece.
I can't wait for Mega Man Dual Override I never understood the Mega Man IP is dead arguments but I'm glad we get to play another new game in the series.
@twitchtvpat I hope so the game looks so good
@AdamNovice Hey you got what you wish for. Outfit 4 for Dee Jay and Elena.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mGIG9K-V7e4&pp=0gcJCa4KAYcqIYzv
@PuppetMaster Yeah that's pretty cool. I just unlocked Elena in World Tour mode tonight.
I suspect they might be saving an Ingrid teaser for Capcom Cup.
