Code Vein's getting a sequel, and would you believe it, it's called Code Vein 2.
Yep, Bandai Namco's anime Soulslike is set to return in 2026, and going by this first look, it seems to be a little more... action-y.
There's some pretty cool combat on display, with the player character pulling off combos that incorporate aerial combos and relatively cinematic special moves.
The original Code Vein — first released for PS4 back in 2019 — was a solid enough action RPG, but there was definitely room for improvement in terms of level design and a few other areas. Here's hoping that this follow-up can make some clear improvements.

I loved the first. One of dozens of people who did; so this is a must buy for me.
Big fan of the first Code Vein. This one is on the list
I sleep wake me up when they announce a sequel to Scarlet Nexus which was actually a good game
Hope for the return of the long character creation, took my time in there.
Fell of Code Vein pretty quick, but there was a lot releasing around that time, if I’m remembering correctly. This looks decent enough!
