Amazon has shared another set of casting announcements for its upcoming God of War TV show, this time confirming who will play Modni, Magni, Gna, and Thrud in the live-action adaptation.
With Ólafur Darri Ólafsson already confirmed to play Thor, the latest news fleshes out his family members with actors to play his two sons and daughter. There's then Gna, who appeared in God of War Ragnarok as the Valkyrie Queen and is an optional boss fight.
- Modi is played by Louis Cunningham (Marie Antoinette, Bridgerton):
- Magi is played by Ben Chapple (Playing for Keeps, Good Cop/Bad Cop)
- Thrud is played by Island Austin (I Can Only Imagine 2)
- Gna is played by Evelyn Miller (Foundation, Gangs of London, Doctor Who)
The announcement follows the first released image of the TV show, which sees Kratos and Atreus in an early-game scene from God of War 2018, where Atreus is being taught how to hunt. It's attracted criticism, though — most notably from God of War creator David Jaffe — for a few different reasons.
