Got 1000GS in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on the XSX. Playing through Asura’s Wrath and its DLC on Ps3 atm.
Almost done so I’ll play God of War on Ps3 after.
Switch is benched atm till the Switch 2 releases.

Agreed. When I played this on XSX it was a perfectly fine 6/10. Nothing wrong with that.

Almost done with Sea of Stars on Switch, I was recommended to pursue the true ending.
Not sure what to play next yet but Octopath Traveler 2, Elec-Head, Grapple Dog, Jedi Survivor and Princess Peach Showtime are all on the shortlist.

We still haven’t seen the It Takes Two and A Way Out movies. Can’t really get excited for this one because of that.

Gives me a feel this one will enter development hell just like the other two.

Just beat Bakeru on Switch half an hour ago. Debating on wether to continue Jedi: Survivor on Ps5 or wether to start Sea of Stars on the Switch.

Frame genning is a blight on artistic intention and deliberate optimization. Hope it never comes to consoles.

I’m all for 300+ fps if every frame within those animations where actual animated, not when 240+ of them are interpolated by some AI.

@get2sammyb friend of mine who is a big fan of FromSoft usually says their old stuff, particularly King’s Field, Cookie and Cream and Armored Core, still play pretty well.

I just beat Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on Ps5, close to the platinum too as I only have a handful of things left like 3 more crewmates, beat amon, donthe minatonsubstories and complete the baseball minigame.

Besides that I started playing Bakeru on my Switch which I’m thoroughly enjoying at the moment.
The plan is to start either Sea of Stars or Star Wars: Jedi Survivor after.

It’s locking the entire idea of changing your character at all behind single use paid vouchers.

It’s not like a custome pack in a game, it’s more you buy a custome and then pay for the privilege to change change to it once and if you don’t like it you have to pay again to change back.

I’m actually in the midst of replaying all games. Tackled Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus recently which are still amazing.

Ever since I caught up with the series a few years ago I’ve been playing them all day 1.
The only ones I haven’t played yet are Dead Souls and the ps2 originals of 1 and 2 but I do own them.
Even played Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise.

@Vladspartan Gotham Knights was neither an Arkham game or Rocksteady. It was its own thing in its own universe made by Warner Bros Interactive Montreal.

Thought it was widely known sony basically missed owning the Dark Souls IP and getting FromSoft as a permanent second party over their mishandling of Demon’s Souls.

Title got me worried they’re finally removing ps1, 2 and portable classics.

@get2sammyb games in general have never had so much output yeah but AAA in particular is at a lowpoint due to increasing production times and costs.
Combine that with no new AAA publishers really entering the scene and some AAA publishers having a more balanced output that isn’t exclusively AAA games (helldivers for sony, endless ocean for nintendo, konami with recent contra output, koei tecmo’s entire modern catalog)

Important to note this is by the team that made Marvel Vs Capcom 3. So that’s pretty exciting.

Hope Ps Premium gets some bigger stuff sooner rather than later. Happy with Patapon 3 but overall meh.

Been on a Musou kick lately and just put 60 hours into Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes in the past 2 weeks. It’s a shame my ps3 Gundam Warriors are in storage as I wanted to try those next.

Bit late since OG Ch1 s2 released last Friday.
Haven’t had a chance to try it yet as I’ve been busy with Uncharted Lost Legacy (beat it on Friday) and Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes but heard good things.

More excited for Ch6 s2 honestly but that also has to wait since I’ll be playing Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii that day and Bakeru releases a few days after.

@trev666 by natively porting them? Like that’s how you get a game to run on a new platform, through a native port.

But even then they could just run in a 360 emulator. It’s not like the Switch and Xbox don’t have PlayStation emulators running some collections like Mega Man (8 and X4 to X8)

Continueing to hate the trend of calling remakes “remasters” when they’re obvious remakes.

My predictions.

Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West will get Switch 2 ports. No other Ps4/5 games will get ported to Switch in 2025 but Sony will reveal they have more future plans by the end of the year.

Man I did amazingly poor for one of my favorite franchises of which I’ve played all but the ps2 games and Dead Souls (even played Judgment, Lost Judgment and Fist of the North Star).

@liamcroft adding to the article. Epic is also doing a monthly remix pass based on each ch1 season starting on december 6th (ChOG s1 is the first) which is also included in crew.

We don’t know the details of these passes (they have been officially announced as of today) yet, the assumption is they’ll all be a 40 tier, 50 levelup, 4 skins pass like OG last year and REMIX atm but we know through leaks they’ll be monthly.

@get2sammyb it’s important to note these numbers include digital sales of digital only games, DLC and eshop/PSN MTX currencies.

Sales data that compares a game that has a physical to only the full game sales skew in favor of physical usually (look at the insomniac leaks or capcom sales data)

Beat Mr Mosquito and Secret Agent Clank on Ps5 last week, including the platinum for Mosquito. Also beat Mega Man III on Switch/NSO.

Currently playing The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice.

The plan is to start something for spooky month after. Maybe the original Ps2 Silent Hill 2 Director’s Cut or Luigi’s Mansion 3 on Switch.
