Oblivion Remastered Review Score Poll

Shadow dropped on the 22nd April, we would hope that you've now had enough time to get a good grip on Oblivion Remastered.

The remake (yes, we know it's technically a remaster) seems to have gone down really well with critics and players alike. It obviously feeds on a lot of nostalgia amongst those who played the original Oblivion all those years ago, but we've also seen plenty of people say that this is their first time traversing Cyrodiil — and they're enjoying it, too.

We gave the game a solid 7/10 in our Oblivion Remastered PS5 review. This humble scribe spent hundreds of hours with the PS3 release, and returning to the adventure almost two decades later was largely a joy.

"Oblivion Remastered is a welcome reminder of just how special the 2006 RPG can be," we wrote.

We concluded: "This is, arguably, the definitive Oblivion experience — or at least it will be, once the awkward wrinkles have been ironed out."

Indeed, annoying performance issues, and the odd crash, are really the only things that need to be addressed here — along with some quality of life improvements. When it comes down to it, there's still a magic to Oblivion and its weirdly wonderful open world.

But what review score would you give Oblivion Remastered? As always, give it a rating in our poll, and then try to explain yourself in the comments section below.
