@Falkirk4life sony does not own the IP. I have no clue why PlayStations fans always parrot that unfounded lie. Disney owns the IP almost fully with the sole exception of movies. Disney puts him in everything these days and sony can’t do anything about it.
@Flaming_Kaiser yeah spider-man ps4/5 is supposedly part of the deal that gave disney SM in the MCU. Although that’s hasn’t been confirmed yet and is purely based on insiders saying it.
@Bamila like I mentioned prior. Sony does not own spider-man. Disney does. Sony only owns the movie rights and the rights to make merch specifically based on the movie incarnations.
Anything else, from videogames to comics to tv to toys is fully disney. Including insomniac’s spider-man.
@croaker_1 this is completely and utterly false. Sony only owns the movie licenses and nothing else. Disney has full control over comic, tv, toy, merchandise and videogame licensing for spider-man and spider-man adjacent characters.
PlayStation gets Spider-Man and Wolverine. Xbox gets Blade. Multiplatfom gamers win as they get a high budget take on all these IPs. Long live owning all platforms!
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: Underground is starting this weekend so I’ll be playing that a lot tomorrow. Beyond that I’m trying to 100% complete Wario Land 3 and PowerWash Simulator
I beat Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge recently which was disappointing.
Currently playing Powerwash Simulator which is amazing, Persona 5 Tactica which is quite fun and playing a lot of Fortnite OG with friends which has been a blast.
Just beat OG FF7 for the first time completely blind beyond the mid game twist. Beyond hyped for rebirth.
Also @lifegirl I don’t get why the internet thinks the aerith spoiler is free real estate. Yeah the game is old but plenty of people are still being born and retroactively want to play it. That’s a huge twist just out in the open. I certainly would’ve been baffled by it if I wasn’t told before.
Ps4 is by far my least favorite of all 7 consoles (vita>ps3>psp>ps1>ps2>ps5>ps4) but I still love it. It’s great and my favorite of the 3 gen 8 homeconsoles not counting the switch. It sits right in the middle of the generation in general (vita>3ds>ps4>wiiU>Xone)
Beat Like a Dragon Gaiden a few days ago and absolutely cried at that ending. Also beat Castlevania Bloodlines and reached level 50+ in Fortnite OG
I’ve currently beaten 99 games this year and 299 unique games since 2017 so I’m doing an almost blind playthrough of Final Fantasy 7. The only things I know are the twist the internet has spoiler for the past 20 years now and everything that was brought over to 7 Remake.
@HeeHo this was leaked on several occasions throughout 2022 and 2023. The expectation was that it would be called LEGO FIFA 2K24. Take two aquired both the FIFA and LEGO license last year for exclusive development and they expressed to only have interest in lego sports titles.
Ordered the Play-Asia ps5 physical which will arrive in 3 weeks. Playing it on gamepass atm. Played every game and spin on excluding OG ps2 1 and 2 and dead souls. Even played Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise.
Are people even reading the article? It’s not 4% physical games and 96% digital games. It’s 4% physical games, 21% digital games and 75% microtransactions.
Beat Dead Space (2023) on my XSX yesterday and Professor Layton and the Lost Future alongside the original PL trilogy on my 3DS.
Started playing Final Fantasy VII on my Switch today which is a mostly blind playthrough beyond the Aerith twist and what I know from FF7R. Also started Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG on PS5 yesterday. Never played before ch3 s3 so it’s pretty neat. And finally I started Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask on my 3DS.
@Lukasamba @Member_the_game @IOI DoesItPlay recently released the specific numbers on how many ps4/5 games work from the disc.
14% of games specifically on ps4/5 don’t work at all without an update or online connection because they’re either not fully on disc, broken without updates or always online.
16% of games work without an update straight from the disc but have updates add more content. Games like minecraft, no man’s sky, ghostwire tokyo and stardew valley.
70% of games are fully playable without updates straight from the disc and have their updates fix minor issues like stability, minor bugs or don’t have updates at all.
Also keep in mind minor bugs have always been a thing in every console generation, but they only became fixable with updates during the 7th generation.
I beat TOEM and Ace Attorney: Justice for All last week and I’m currently playing Solar Ash and Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations.
With spooky month starting tomorrow I’m gonna play spooky games all month. My plan is to beat Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, House of the Dead: Overkill, Until Dawn and Luigi’s Mansion 3 amongst other games.
Very maybe I’ll try Silent Hill 2 but that game is too spooky for me.
I beat Firewatch on my Xbox Series X last week and I continued playing Ace Attorney: Justice for All on Switch which I’m at the final episode for. I also started playing Baten Kaitos Remastered which is fun so far.
Beyond that I bought a handful of games including Gato Robotto, The Messenger, Neon White, Warhammer 40.000 Boltgun, Loop Hero and The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo which I might start too.
I beat Starfield yesterday on the Xbox Series X after playing it for almost 70 hours. Currently continuing my playthrough of Ace Attorney: Justice for All I started on my Switch before Starfield.
Planning on starting Firewatch later and finally starting either God of War: Ghost of Sparta or Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time on Ps3. Might also start Baten Kaitos 1+2 HD on the switch.
@Nepp67 the devs also made monkey balls before yakuza, the monkey balls remakes on current hardware, the virtua fighter 5 remake a few years ago and binary domain.
And while yes, BD and OG monkey balls where made before the studio was called RGG studios they where still made by RGG studios.
After beating Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty and Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara on my Ps3 this week and A Short Hike and Gris on my Xbox Series X this week I started Playing Starfield on my Xbox Series X and continued playing Ace Attorney: Justice for All on my Switch.
Once I’m done with those I’m thinking about playing Firewatch, TOEM and God of War: Ghost of Sparta.
Mystic really went from an obscure playstation YouTuber with 1k subs to a massive PlayStation youtuber and game collecting YouTuber ever since that one blind box haul went viral.
If The Crew Motorfest supports accesibility options like forza does I’ll play it but man TC1 and 2 where just way too hard. Like they expected you to grind I guess but it just steered you to MTX.
I beat Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective on Switch a few days ago and it was amazing, cried a bit at the end. I’m currently playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney which is great too, just started the 4th episode.
Pre installed Starfield on my Xbox Series X which I finally found my cautious hype for again. Don’t trust Microsoft anymore TBH but I still really hope Starfield and Forza Motorsport 8 will hit it out of the ballpark.
On Ps5 it’s just Fortnite this week, finishing up some quests before the next season releases on friday. Although I’m strongly debating on starting Horizon: Forbidden West.
@Kanji-Tatsumi remember when Zelda fans DDOS’d the Jimquisition website and doxxed James Stephanie Sterling (at that time still going by Jim Sterling) because they gave BotW a respectable 7/10 which caused the metacritic average to go from a 98/100 (at the time the highest average for a game) to a 97/100 (a shared highest average with almost 20 games). After that they stopped reviewing games altogether for 6 years.
@KingPev base FF7R was started before this week but yeah I beat FF7R on saterday, FF7R intermission on sunday, FF1 on saterday, FF2 on Tuesday and FF3 on thursday.
Beat Final Fantasy I, II and III last week on Switch without any knowledge about 2 and 3 and with minor knowledge about 1, alongside a replay of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and a blind playthrough of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intermission on Ps5.
Started Bayonetta on Switch which I don’t know anything about beyond having played chapter 1 and 2 on WiiU years ago.
Need to beat the 5 Royal Reverie levels of We Love Katamari Reroll after that I’m done with the remake.
I’m still playing Fortnite WILDS, bought the Air Max Airie skin and the Ciri and Yennefer skins from The Witcher
Beyond that I was thinking about starting Final Fantasy VI or Final Fantasy VII through the Pixel Collection
I also just placed an order for Bloodstained: Circle of the Moon Chronicles, The Ace Attorney Trilogy, Katamari Damacy Reroll and Ghost Trick at Play-Asia so that’s exciting.
@Mitsui the loading screen that comes with the skin is a dead giveaway. Also the set is called “Amano’s Heart”. But yeah wish they stylized it a bit more.
The video game adaptation curse is not a thing anymore. Are we really gonna hear this every time? We’ve had a lot of good movies and shows in recent years. Detective pikachu, sonic 1 and 2, sonic boom (the show), mario, TLOU, arcane, tetris and many more.
Just beat Ratchet & Clank Tools of Destruction this morning on ps3 after beating Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart the past week on ps5. Also reached level 100 in Fortnite and beat Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Might play Redfall on the Xbox Series X but I also surprised my friendgroup with a NSO+EP Family Plan on my cost so we can play stuff like Mario Kart 64 and GoldenEye together.

A lot of Theatrhythm Final Bar Line until Christmas when I can finally start Final Fantasy XVI.
Beyond that I started Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Darkness
Re: Fortnite Fans Can't Believe There's No Winterfest Cabin on PS5, PS4 This Xmas
I love the cabin and all its easter eggs.
Sad they made it a simple tab in quests this year.

I beat Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 1 & 2 in the past week and started playing Solar Ash.
Still chipping away at Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations and I finally started Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 after taking a break from the game.
Beyond those I’ll probably be starting Professor Layton and the Curious Village and Super Castlevania IV.

After barely playing any gamea for 2 weeks I started and beat LocoRoco on ps4 a few days ago and I’m currently playing through LocoRoco 2.
