PS5, PS4 Finally Gets More Picross, with a Hatsune Miku Flavour 1

If you play on Switch, then you’ll no doubt own a couple of nonogram-style games. (We have the SEGA Genesis & Master System one, which is awesome!)

The art-style puzzles have a long history with Nintendo, and even though storied developer Jupiter has started bringing its games to multiple platforms, there still aren’t enough on PlayStation for our tastes.

That changes later this month with Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S+, a new Picross-inspired puzzler featuring everyone’s favourite vocaloid idol.

Here’s what the blurb says:

“The official sequel to the 2020 original game, Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S+ features the vocaloid sensation and includes hours of relaxed, but challenging nonogram puzzling, adventuring, and more!”

The full game will feature an incredible 1,000 puzzles, which is more than three times the original release. You’ll also have Miku-chan cheering you along while you solve them.

For those who aren’t familiar with Picross, these games see you colouring in grids using number patterns written on their axis. Once correctly completed, you’ll create a beautiful piece of pixel art, which is a lot of fun.

This being a Hatsune Miku-inspired title, you’ll unlock artwork, illustrations, and, of course, songs as you progress. The full game will cost $14.99 so won’t exactly break the bank.

Are you down for some cutesy nonogram content? Pay close attention to the numbers and complete the grid in the comments section below.
