If you haven’t played Fortnite for a while, then there’s truly never been a better time to get back into it.
Alongside the recent addition of Kpop Demon Hunters – and the strongly rumoured Springfield map – Epic has announced the latest rendition of Fortnitemares, its annual spookfest.
And, honestly, it’s stacked.
Set to get underway later today, from 9th October, here’s how the dev is pitching it:
“Meet the Mother of Thorns, Doja Cat, who’s twisting Battle Royale into her haunted kingdom and unleashing chaos with a wild cast of characters. From Jason to Wednesday Addams to Scooby-Doo and Ghost Face, VIPs of fright await.”
The trailer also includes characters from Poppy Playtime, and there are a bunch of original skins joining the roster as well.
All of this will be accompanied by a new map for Fortnite Reload named Nightmare Island, which will be populated by a selection of creepy locations.
Fortnitemares will run through 31st October, and we’re sure there’ll be plenty of surprises along the way.
