One piece pirate warriors 3 (ps4/5) - played and platinumed this when it was new but decided to replay it.

Pokemon brilliant diamond (NS) - got 10 shiny buizel’s 3 days ago, really want shiny murkrow tho.

Scarlet nexus (XSX) - started playing this game, really fun. But on a break atm.

Have 3 games left this year until I fully beat 52 games which means 1 game weekly on average.

Oh boy, all 12 months are known. That means “this is clickbait” comments next month.

@Burntbreadman I checked. It’s missing 5 dlc characters. That’s definitely not a €90 difference.

Physical of this is europe exclusive and sells for €40 with all dlc included.

I checked. It’s €30 even.

Steamworld going 3D reminds me of oddworld. Almost all entries being stand alone within the franchise probably doesn’t help either.

I can understand not listing declassified, ps2 word at war and the psp games but FH and TBRO are main entries.

Animal crossing happy home paradise on switch. Enjoying it lot so far. Put a lot of hours into it yesterday.

Psychonauts on xbox series X. Fun game but mainly playing it to play the sequel after.

Nothing on ps5 this weekend, tho the VR ps+ games do interest me.

I started playing jedi fallen order on ultimate game pass on the XSX and it’s really fun so far.
Also bits of animal crossing here and there in preparation for the update.
And Finally I started playing ni no kuni 2 on the ps5 recently.

Nah but seriously, let’s hope this means the ps5 stock is more available and not that the switch is hard to find. The ps4 and switch are both contenders for best selling console ever, ps5 seems to go to the top 5 at the end of it’s life.

I was actually playing ni no kuni 2 on the ps5 and castlevania on the switch but got surprised with an Xbox Series X and ultimate gamepass yesterday so I started playing halo 1.

Besides that I installed bug fables, carrion, dead cells and some other games I’ve wanted to play for a while now.

@Spiders thanks. While never commenting there I’ve been reading pure xbox for as long as I’ve been reading pushsquare and nintendolife (so since 2010, before the site shutdown and reopened.)

My XSX arrived today so now that I have UGP it’s the first time I don’t fret about if the PS+ games will be good. Not to say it wouldn’t be nice if we got some good stuff ofcourse. Moreso I’m well set for a while.

But I’d like some SP games again with ps+, especially on ps5. Would love one of the launch ps5 games to be free to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of ps5 despite me owning them already.

@nessisonett I feel like a lot of games in this list where given low scores by people that didn’t play them.
The 13 trilogy may not be top tier but everyone I ever heard that finished them either liked them or loved them, people hating on them usually didn’t even play them because “they’re bad”.

IMO several of the “bad and mediocre” ones should 100% be above 15.

Good list, tho XIII-2 is 100% much better than XIII. I love both but the gap between them shouldn’t be so high.

EDIT: wow FF7, 7R, 9 and 10 all being ranked above 6? That’s a new one to me.

I’m playing through dragon quest 11 definitive edition on the ps4/ps5 atm, passed the halfway point already. Reallt enjoying it.

Also playing through castlevania circle of the moon on my switch, love that I’m finally able to play the gba games for affordable prices.

And lastly my brother and I have a minecraft world where we do stuff, play on it both on the switch and ps5 depending wether I want to play portably or with better performance.

Didn’t expect such a low score. That sucks. Seems like it’s not mediocre because the game itself was always like that but rather because it aged poorly.

First time every I am straight up disappointed with the full line and and I chose the crap option.

The general focus on multiplayer games only on plus lately sucks in general. I don’t mind MP games but balance it out a bit IMO. Like atleast 1 Fully SP experience would’ve satisfied me.

@johncalmc deadshot was in arkham origins, city and knight (tho I’m not sure if this is the same one as it’s the same universe but in the arkham games he was white). King shark has been a pretty big comedic character ever since the harley quin show, he’s supposed to be a smart brute but recent interpretations showed him as a cute dummy, captain boomerang is an australian stereotype.

Almost bought it digitally but now I’ll wait 2 months.

Let’s hope lost in random also gets a physical soon.

@Nepp67 also wouldn’t it be MH 8 in that case. Generations would be 5, world would be 6, rise would be 7. Since 1 to 4 where numbered. It would imply 2 of those 3 are spin offs and not main games.

Yakuza 4 (ps4/ps5) - almost done with this game, 5 more chapters to go. It’s fun so far.

Plants Vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville (ps4/ps5) - been trying to get all singleplayer maps 100% completed in co-op with a friend.

Not much this week.

@TowaHerschel7 sony has 2 VR focused studios and 2 studios that have VR inhouse teams. That still leaves 10+ studios that don’t make VR games at all and 2 studios that mainly make normal games but also make VR games. In no way are they abandoning normal releases.

@uptownsoul @get2sammyb sony also made no effort to promote their games. Such a talented studio full of talented industry veterans gone to waste IMO.

Atleast we’re getting new studios with similar purposes in return. I just wish it didn’t cost japan studio.

If only sony already had a studio for unique games…

Yakuza 4 (ps4/ps5) - almost done with this game, a lot of fun so far. I would rank it alongside 3, above K1 and FotNS and under YK2, Y0 and judgment.

Mighty gunvolt burst (NS) - had to go to the doctor because I was bitten by a horse-fly and only brought my switch so decided to replay it. Fun but frustrating.

Blood & truth (PSVR/ps5) - fun semi on rails shooter. Almost beat it. Would recommend.

Spider-man remastered (ps5) - finally gonna play this game after I bought the ps4 version at launch and kept postponing it and bought miles morales at launch and once again postponing it.

And like every week.

Pokemon shield (NS) - shiny hunting like always. Trying to breed a sandygast.

EA published the original trilogy at the time. Crytek owns the IP and is technically an indie studio atm, saber interactive is publishing the trilogy.

EDIT: saber is remastering them, crytek is self publishing them.

My guess is we’ll see the new team asobi game assuming it isn’t a PSVR2 game. Also some of the rumoured side projects from guerilla and ND.

@Thrillho TBF ghost of tsushima was made in english and dubbed to japanese.

The only japanese story heavy game that has an English option that I’ll play in English is persona. Yakuza will always be played in Japanese, English just sounds weird to me, very off.

Looking forward to this game. Currently playing yakuza 4. After that I only have 5, 6, LaD and dead souls left. Already played 0, YK1, YK2, 3, fist of the north star and judgment.
So far I’d rank it judgment>YK2=0>3>YK1>FotNS.

@Shinnok789 games have been getting GOTY awards pre release since the late 90’s. Never wondered how a game could have a “winner of over 200 GOTY awards” stickers on there at launch?

Was planning on playing this on gamepass when I would get an XSX next month but I saw it’s leaving GP this week. Maybe it’ll be a ps+ game eventually, maybe I’ll grab it in a ps5 sale. Hopefully it’ll get a physical.

So weird giving games praise for how good they are based on trailers. If we’d go by those standards (and let’s be honest, mainstream gamers do that and have been doing that since the N64/ps1/saturn days) cyberpunk, dead island and aliens colonial marines are some of the best games ever made.

Ordered a bunch of PSVR games and I want to play ghost giant and down the rabbit hole immigrants when they arive.

Besides that I’m almost done with yakuza kiwami 2 and I’m still shiny hunting in pokemon shield.

@Dr-M lol, I doubt my current games will get ported. It was tearaway unfolded, astro bot rescue mission and currently yakuza kiwami 2.
Although TBF all yakuza games have a native XSX version so that might happen.

@AK4tywill if you mean reasonable new stuff I personally would like to see added. The ultra high pc settings would be nice and newly added raytracing would be appreciate.

But in the case of bioshock the BC version had issues that wouldn’t have been there if I would’ve played it on a ps4, so if, let’s say, a native ps5 releases next month, my experience could’ve been better if I waited for a bit.

Sometimes very minor stuff can make a first playthrough better but wouldn’t warrent a second playthrough so quickly after th first because the changes are minor.

I’d go crazy if bioshock trilogy gets a ps5 remaster, I just beat all 3 in succesion on ps4 through BC.
Every time I beat a ps4 game on ps5 either a ps5 patch or a ps5 upgrade gets announced. RIP.

Yakuza kiwami 2 (ps4/ps5) - finally bought YK2 as it was the only yakuza game I didn’t own yet including spin offs. Enjoying it so far. It’s better than Y0, YK1, Y3 and fist of the north star but I still prefer judgment.

Pokemon shield (NS) - still trying to get a shiny wooloo and nickit on route 1.

De blob (NS) - fun game so far, great soundtrack.

Moss (PSVR) - want to restart it this weekend and try to beat it in 1 sitting.

@koaeinferno fall guys is most definitely not shovelware. Also where were you when this was the most downloaded ps+ game ever? The most downloaded ps+ game every surely deserves coverage by a PlayStation centric website.

I signed up for the beta test the moment the sign up went live but I never got a confirmation and can’t redo it so RIP. This is one of the few games I’m hyped for as I absolutely loved steep.

Wait this wasn’t on ps4 yet? I know it’s part of gamepass on xbox as it’s one of the games I am planning on playing once I buy the XSX later this month. (Yes I’m going fully multiplatform.)

De blob (NS) - bought this game this week after a friend recommended it to me and rebeltaxi/panpizza recommended it. Great game so far.

Pokemon shield (NS) - got 5 shinies this week but I’m trying to catch all overworld shinies in route 1. Still a wooloo and nickit to go.

Wolfenstein the new order (ps4/ps5) - fun shooter so far, heard good things about the franchise from my brother.

Blind (PSVR/ps5) - a social worker that helps me twice per week recommended this to me, gonna play it once I feel like VR.

I enjoyed beating velocity 2X last year, was one of the first ps4 ps+ games.

Pokemon shield (NS) - I got a shiny tapu koko yesterday in 6 DA runs, got a shiny tapu fini 4 runs after that and a shiny Gmax duraladon 5 runs after that. Trying to breed a shiny dhelmise, shiny phantump and shiny larvasta now. I still need a shiny tapu lele to get all 4 shiny tapu’s (already had bulu).

Wolfenstein: the new order (ps4/ps5) - started playing this on Wednesday but didn’t feel like continueing yet, maybe this weekend.

Not much basically, I’m not really feeling like playing games atm besides pokemon.
