The debut reveal trailer for Battlefield 6 will go live tomorrow, 24th July, but reliable leaker Billbil-Kun already appears to have many of the important release details.
According to them, Battlefield 6 releases for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 10th October 2025, meaning it'll compete directly with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 for your time, money, and attention. While the FPS from Treyarch does not have a confirmed release date yet, the series always releases in either October or November.
The leaker continues with the claim Battlefield 6 will cost €79.99 for the base version, which should translate to £69.99 / $69.99. There's also going to be a $100 Phantom Edition, according to Billbil-Kun, though its contents aren't detailed in the Dealabs report.

It's said pre-orders will go live on 31st July, and there'll be no early access offer.
Following official testing in Battlefield Labs, we know via player leaks there'll be a single player campaign to accompany the multiplayer offering, which is being pitched as the "ultimate all-out warfare experience". We will see the game for the first time tomorrow in its debut trailer.

After the last 2 BF’s flopped commercially that would be absolutely idiotic.
That’s a garanteed flop unless all old BF fans suddenly return.
EDIT: also is charging €79,99 now gonna be the standard in Europe despite the euro being stronger than the USD by a lot?
Nintendo is also charging €89,99 for Mario Kart World in Europe.
Ohhhh boy, that's kind of a terrible release window; going directly up against CoD didn't do them any favours for 2042. I really want this to do well as from what I've seen it looks like a return to form.
Still, I'm also happy I don't have to wait that long to jump in with my friends!
They also have arc raiders coming in October to worry about and you have delta force in August which is free
Those prices definitely do not help them👀
Instant skip for that price
@JB_Whiting That wasn’t the issue with 2042, before the Beta it looked to really compete with COD, then the Beta came out and it was a terrible battlefield game.
The price is normal? Did people expect a discounted price?
The Battle Royale mode is supposedly F2P, or so say the rumors...
Is Titanfall 3 coming out the week after?
Is that 80 euro’s for the discversion or digitalversion? If it is for the disc, will the Digital version be 90 euro’s?
£70 after being burned twice?
Bruh. No.
This is the best chance Battlefield has had since the turn of the generation from PS3 to PS4, when it was Battlefield 4 vs COD Ghosts.
I pray Battlefield does well because Fortni…cough…COD has gone too far this year.
@LifeGirl exactly lol. never know though... might actually be good
Cant fing wait for this man. I need a good shooter and cod is trash!!!
Memories of the beta and how horrid it was. Far too many players on each map, vehicles driving up the side of the big space rocket building, spawn points being abused, that tunnel that goes underneath the runway where everyone camped at the entrance on either side would just throw grenades down the stairs and get easy double kills and more. Absolute worst thing I’ve ever played in beta form. It was so bad and they continued with releasing it on launch date
I will keep my eye on this to see if anything tempts me. BF used to be pretty nice.
I keep meaning to try the CoD campaigns, but the 24935gb downloads put me right off it.
I'm still hoping the free to play delta force is good. It looks great from the vids I've watched so far. I'm hoping this battlefield game is a return to the bad company 2 template but I doubt it.
@Ravix yes the CoD install sizes are ridiculous and that's pretty much why I stopped purchasing them. I like the games a lot but they really need to figure out a way to optimise their storage.
Timing makes sense.
Games are more expensive these days and with the cost of living - may as well go up against CoD then after it and try win the dollars spent.
And next year of course has the GTA juggernaut that folks will be holding out for.
It does mean it also goes up against Ghost which is a group punch up for the wallet!
@darkswabber
The last 2 BFs did not flop and I have no either where the actual hell you pulled that out of. BFV sold 7.3 Million in its first month. 2042 sold over 4 million in its first week. Also thats a normal game price which adjusted for inflation is still the cheapest AAA games have ever been.
Day one for me!
I just hope they don't mess it up!!
Could easily swallow the cost no issue, BF 2042 despite it's abysmal start is now a very decent game
What I won't swallow though is the complete disregard for a working anti cheat
No way am I paying £70 for a game where cheaters completely ruin it and do so with impunity
