Do the Embracer group release games? They have bought all these franchises over the last couple of years but what have they released? Like Timesplitters they keep saying they will do something with that but nothing has materialized to date. Feel a lot of these IPs will disappear now.

Did pick up FIFA last week for just over £10 for a disc ps5 version from my local Tesco. So if true should be able to sell it for more then that. Was my first FIFA since 14! when did the commentary become so bad?

Only thing really on my radar for the next 4 or 5 months does seem a bit of lull in releases in the upcoming months. It does means I can get my backlog down a bit.

I have never played it either but will finally give it a go for £8.75. Can anybody tell me how the Dr Dre stuff works in GTA online can I do it solo and do I need to play a certain amount of the single player to unlock it. Also do you have to claim GTA online on your PS5 as well as cant see it on the web store.

Thanks was just a lot of mention of upgrade in story and comments .But if its for the PS5 version I will most likely bite at that price as never played it and have a bit of a drought coming up games wise but really need to reduce the backlog as well!!

So is the price for the upgrade or the PS5 version of the game probably me being a bit dumb but its not very clear from the story and comments.

My personal opinion is gamers are quite toxic in general and soulsbourne games have made things worse. It seems to get more people waving there digital dingus around and more people using the git gud argument. If they added a couple accessability options it wouldn't hurt. I also hate how the soulsbourne games have ruined most other 3rd person action games with most developers looking to copy the souls combat instead of coming up with there own ideas.

Its still not a definitive answer its still up for interpretation. I don't think they can give a definitive answer until the deal has been completed.

The way I am reading that is they wont remove current games. Does not specify if future games will appear on other consoles.

I cant see how Destiny 3 would be a terrible idea its exactly what they need to get rid of the broken game engine Destiny 1 and 2 are working on which has been widely reporting takes up to 12 hours to change one small thing on a map. I am sorry its more then a shame they remove stuff, its scandalous that people who have purchased the game cant play what they paid for and its not replaced with anything else unless they pay more money. At the moment Bungies monetisation practices and business model is worse then anything EA or Activision have done.

I never understood why Bungie never got much backlash for taking away content. I have spent just shy of £100 on Destiny 2 and would guess only 5% of what I purchased will be playable in a couple of months thats scandalous.

A lot of people myself included thought Activision was the problem but they got 10 times worse after they split. If sony isn't bringing Bungie in house and changing there monetisation policies this is a terrible waste of money.

I have played over 1000 hours of Destiny 1 and 2 mainly 1 I have no idea why they have made this aquisition.

The shooting mechanics in destiny is one of the best in games the rest of the game design and monetisation is horrible which is the main reason I dont play them and why they have lost millions of players over the years. Destiny engine is terrible and needs updating they really should have made Destiny 3 by now on a new engine. So I can't understand why Sony has paid all that money for a company thats on the decline with no exclusive games for there console.

Agree with others this sale is pretty poor there was 1 thing on my wishlist that is on sale. Has anyone played Blacksad recently I know it was very rough at launch just wondered if they had patched it as £6.99 is tempting.

This is such a Bungie move help us celebrate by giving us money! Destiny 1 was a huge part of my ps4 gaming life. Fell off Destiny 2 quite quickly just don't like there business model can't see me ever going back.

@nessisonett was thinking that, they did release a trailer of some sorts eventually in that app didn't they? Then not heard a thing since very bizarre!

Is the full game included or is it a 10 hour trial as posted in your whats in ea play article?

The shooting mechanics of destiny are probably the best around still. Its the rest of the game is a convoluted mess. I am not sure it can be called a f2p game anymore as nearly all the story has been vaulted from the f2p version so there is not a lot you can do. Played Destiny 1 for over 1000 hours but bounced hard off 2 came back for a couple of weeks to do Forsaken and not touched the game since. Coming back to Forsaken I had no idea what a lot of currencies were for if I came back now sounds like the problem is 10 times worse.

Very disappointing sale. I picked up disk versions of Yakuza and Hitman 3 for a lot cheaper then they are in the current sale. Some games just never go on sale been waiting for Beat saber to go on sale

I prefer the smaller open world and always felt the yakuza games are the right size. I know where most of the landmarks are without looking at the map. Does beg the question why wasn’t yakuza on the best ps5 open world games article earlier this week

Yeah that's my main problem the price with not a lot out at release if this was priced lower I would look into picking it up.

Played so much of season 1. The main problem for me was once you got to season 2 you had to be good at most games to progress it lost the appeal of anybody can pick it up and play. My partner used to play at the start but she cant play now as she can never get past the first round. May give it a go one night I didn't like the wall guys game which put me off as well

I know I will be in a very tiny minority but would play Farming Simulator over Dark Souls.

@ShogunRok Agree think it would of been better if they mixed the last 2 months up say City Skylines and Dirt Rally one month and Farming Simulator and Uncharted the other.

The do seem very quiet in general. I was surprised there wasn't a state of play for the Ghosts release date.

@ChineseJames In your opinion Souls comabt is the best in my opinion is dull and has been done to death.

Still not really shown much gameplay I am just hoping its not Dark Souls combat. I was expecting a state of play to show it off and announce the release date.

Would be interested to see numbers who still play this as even my hardcore destiny playing friends seem to have stopped playing. I wonder if the will port it all over to PS5. In my opinion they would be better starting a fresh new game for PS5

Last 2 months have been amazing for myself all games I have been tempted by in the past but never taken the plunge. After FFVII I don't think I need to buy another Ps4 game till the PS5 is out with how big my PS Plus backlog is!

I would take a Kya Dark Lineage remaster!

This is probably one of the best months ever for me personally, all 3 I haven't played all 3 I have wanted to try.

Rumour was wrong but a cracking month instead with Bioshock Sims4 and Firewall Zero Hour

I would say for myself this is one of the most influential games of the decade on myself. It got me playing a shooter which I didnt play much of before and it got me playing online which I hardly ever did as well. It made me some new friends that I still talk to today. I played Destiny 2 and Forsaken but the business model finally got to me so have given up on it. The first game did give me some great moments and memories with new people. But can see why its not for everyone.

I presume I can use the 10% code of the early access price might take the plunge.

Got Titanfall 2 on disc for £5 played it and sold it so happy can play the game again if I want to. The value doesn't really seem there this month with the Motocross game being sold for £9 on ps store in the past

@RawnDawn Last year it was Soma and Onrush two very good games year before was a bit hit and miss with Darksiders 2 and Kung Fu Panda

There are some good deals if you live in America, The EU sale is awful cant see how US can get Days gone for $20 and in EU its £35 ($45)

This looked interesting but sounds like a complete mess was a little shocked at the price on psn. Seems even stranger that it hasnt been translated at all.

Star Wars not my thing but would happily play a good star wars story game but the dark souls like combat puts me right off why cant any developer/game designer do anything other then Dark souls style combat. One of biggest gripes this generation is everything trying to copy souls combat instead of doing there own thing.

Well after all the videos, conferences and reviews I still have no idea if this game is for me. I am still no clearer if I will pick it up or not. Will check out some gameplay videos after it has been out a little while to hopefully get some idea.

Shame Nioh is a soullike as it looks good but dont have patience for games like that. May have to try and play outlast again as i played an hour of the first one and then wimped out haha
