Why couldn't they make Cait Sith an accompanying character!

Any early impressions on Foamstars are the servers holding up? I remember fall guys releasing on ps plus at the servers couldnt cope

I am sure they can crank out a couple more remasters before last of us 3

@Titntin Thats a fair point but just proves my point more that most big studios don't seem to have any originallity in them which is very disappointing to me.

Basically the show showed 2nd and 3rd party is doing all the heavy lifting at the moment for Sony. I have no idea why they cant tease something from one of there big studios just to give the fans something. This also extends to VR with Sony still not producing any games for PSVR2 not even a token PSVR2 version of Astrobot.

The showcase showed the industry is in a bit of a rut with most games being sequels, remakes/remasters or souls likes. Least Judas looked new and interesting. But it does seem what most fans want going by the reaction to this article.

Dave the diver is already out on Switch isnt it? Sony seems very late to the party on some of these big indie games. Still hasn't got Vampire survivors but that maybe more to do with Microsoft then Sony.

@get2sammyb But surely you can understand Sony fans want to know what there studios are working on. Most of the games will be availble on xbox. Sadly if its not a remake/remaster, sequel or a soulslike Sony dont seem interested. And it looks like they have all but given up on PSVR2 after a year

I would even take remastered versions of those 2. I know 3 gets a lot of praise but I liked revenge way more.

I think its just a combination of stuff. If sonys first party output had been better since launch and there communication had been better I don't think it would be such a big deal. Sonys first party output apart from returnal has been mainly seqeuls and remakes/remasters so I think its a bit of fatigue and people thinking Sony in general have no new ideas.

If they also at some point over the last couple of years showed what Naughty dog were working on (could just be a 30 second teaser) that would of eased a lot of the negativity as well

My backlog never seems to get any smaller due to my huge backlog I rarely buy games day one. Some bargains I have picked up in the last couple of months SFVI £20, Resident Evil 4 £22 and Dead Island 2 £25 as well as quite a few others just got to find time to play them all, only done Resi 4 out of those. I have extra but thinking of dropping it due to not having enough time to do my backlog of games.

Oh look another souls like this gen has come down to sequels, Soulslikes and Remasters/remakes really depressing to see no imagination this gen

Yeah the Ui is terrible this season the locker section is specifically bad I think thats costing purchases as people cant be bothered to navigate the locker so see no point buying new skins.

Do you get Xp for BP doing the lego stuff? As may play more of the LEGO mode as not really feeling the BR mode this season and the OG season and this season XP seems a real slog for some reason

Bungie were better run and less money grabbing under Activision that says alot about the company. Bungie has the worst monestisation practices in the business, Name me one other developer that has deleted paid content from there customers! Its a huge shame as there shooting gameplay is up there as the best in the business its just everything else around it that lets it down.

On a side note I wish Push Square would stop saying Destiny 2 is Free to play thats very misleading as most of the free to play content has been deleted at least all the meaningful content has.

That explains why LEGO 2K Drive physical edition was heavily discounted for Black Friday! I have Powerwash Simulator but does mean I can sell my physical copy.

Its just seems like a dime a dozen multiplayer game not very exciting wonder if Matt and Trey have any involvement in this game like the last two games.

@Rocky1972 Yeah I bought Parappa a few years back and thought the same thing its unplayable at some points.

For peoples information Yakuza 6 and Like a dragon are leaving this month as well as the middle earth games so you don't have long to get those done if anyone is interested.

So £40 for the expansion another £40 for the annual pass then £20 for a costume. And they were supposed to be advising Sony gaas scheme. The worse monetisation developer in the business.

I have 10 months left on my sub and i can't extend at the reduced price via website or App wonder if it only works if you have under say 3 months left on your sub. Sony seem to make baffling decisions all the time now. This move is more likely to push me to not renew my sub at all.

It just seems like another half hearted idea by Sony like VR2. This is an expensive product for a very niche market. You eithe rmake it so you can download games on to it and play it natively or you make it a lot cheaper and more people will pick it up on a whim.

This does look like it has been released to just die like VR2. VR2 has been out 8 months now and Sony as far as I know only released 1 game for it and no other ones are even announced. They haven't even bothered to port old PSVR games like Blood and Truth and Astrobot!

Alternate Jake Hunter maybe the best game name I have heard in a while. Quite slim pickings for me this month but Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising has been on my get to list, so least i dont have to pay for it

I am subbed to extra til September next year usually top up another year on black friday but don't think I will bother this year.

That is impressive numbers. As someone who only started playing midway through Chapter 3 this map is awful and dull. If this was the first thing I played of Fortnite I would not be playing today. Glad its only a month also happy a lot of players get to have some nostalgia.

These would be fine before the price hike. But since there has been a price hike the games have been very medicore. I am not sure why they havent thrown in a first party game in like Ratchet, Returnal or Last of Us 2 or Last of us part 1 just to quell some disappointment.

If it was the other aliens game may have given it a go. A pretty lacklustre month for me personally.

I will never forgive Bungie for being one of the only developers to take paid content away from customers. But I think they are paying for there poor decisions. They needed to start fresh with Destiny 3 on a new engine instead of pumping out expansion after expansion. It would help to get new and returning players in as playing Destiny 2 is so impenatrable if you start new or return at the moment. It would also help making new content for it.

I am going to go out on a limb but I would guess people like Luke Smith and the people who came up with there horrible monitisation schemes and the idea to remove paid content from players still have there jobs!

Do like the Spiderman games but a bit disappointing it doesnt add a lot new makes it easier to wait for a price drop. This gen is becoming a bit disapointing think Ratchet was the only game I bought day one and that turned out to be on the short side.

I presumed it would be more of a remaster then a remake. I think its now going to come down to price on release.

I buy some stuff on sales when its below £10 but with extra I must admit my spending is down. I will play Spiderman 2 but cant justify the £70 price tag so will wait til cheaper think the only day one game I may consider is FF7 Rebirth. With backlog and extra don't really need to buy day one at the moment.

Think it will lose something without Rik Mayall doing the voiceover. I enjoyed it back in the day seems strange that it seemed to be forgotten when people recall PS1 games

Thanks I picked up 1 and 2 reloaded on a sale a while back. This might bump the games up on my backlog list knowing they have an English dub

Are there any of these Visual Novel games with English Dubs? I do like visual novel games but it is a lot of reading sometimes it would be nice to have the game in English so you could play them without the higher level of concentration.

Surprised it’s so soon thought they would space out this and gaiden only a couple months in between the two.

Its a 2d side scrolling action RPG with multiple characters which there stories intertwine to some extent. Each character has different combat. As with all Vanillaware games the art style is beautiful. Couldn't hurt to check out some youtube videos to see if its up your alley.

Seemed strange to promote it as an indie 3rd party state of play and then show only 1 indie game. (was hoping for at least Vampire Survivors release date). It does seem they have given up on PSVR 2 loved my PSVR 1 but with no backwards compatability they have not given me one reason to get PSVR 2. Why they decided to do the voice chat thing for Hell Divers I will never know that never works as no group ever talks like that playing games. Was nice to see FFVII R2 so that made the show ok for me.

I am not sure how the whole twist is going to play out with Zack around. Because if he is around the group alot surely he would just say that didn't happen.

I wonder if we will get a Vampire survivors release date. If the leaks are to believed the only thing that will interest me is FFVIIR2 but a Vampire survivors release date might make it more bearable for myself.

@IOI Just going by UK prices extra is £84 at the moment will go up to £100 even 20% off brings it down to £80 which is cheaper then it currently is (not by much granted) but if the discount is 25 or 30% the saving is more. So from UK point of view makes sense to wait a couple months instead of rushing to top up today. I haven't calculated the US prices those could be different.

Maybe not the best advice as a good chance they could be discounted to lower prices in the black friday sales

I am currently subbed on extra to September next year but now considering not subscribing to anything after its done. I don't really play anything online apart from fortnite which you don't need plus for. The cloud saves are useful and if I get rid of plus would reduce my backlog a bit!

My guess is NFS Unbound is coming to Essential or Extra very soon. Will maybe give this a try at some stage
