This week's brand new sale on PlayStation Store has arrived, and it's all about PSVR. Sony's first virtual reality headset is coming up on five years old, and in that time it's built up a pretty substantial library. If you've missed out on any VR titles, now's your best chance to get some immersive gaming goodies on the cheap. Hundreds of PSVR games, and PS4 titles with PSVR support, are currently discounted.
Marvel's Iron Man VR is half price at £17.49/$19.99, well worth it to experience the fun flight and combat. We can also highly recommend The Persistence at £8.49/$10.19, Paper Beast for £9.99/$11.99, and the lovely Ghost Giant for only £7.99/$9.99.
Many of these games are at their lowest price points to date, including some of the above titles. The violent but silly Gorn is £9.59/$11.99 (even less for PS Plus members), Harmonix's rhythm shooter Audica is down to £12.49/14.99, and the absurd Accounting+ is just £3.79/$4.79. All great games, and all at their lowest prices.
There are loads of other games in the sale, of course. While the official Store pages aren't quite live yet, you can peruse all the discounts on psprices through here. What will you be picking up? Reach out into the comments section below.

Still no sale on Beat Saber . I really need to get back to VR not played any VR since PS5 arrived.
Oooh tempting to make a few purchases!
Even though part of the reason why I bought a PS5 was to see the improvement in quality from my base PS4. I have barely touched my VR headset since getting the console!
I've finally come to accept that Beat Saber will NEVER be discounted.
@bindiana @JB_Whiting I don’t want to be that guy but I’m going to be. Beat Saber is exceptional and you should buy it.
It’s £25/$30 and can be purchased cheaper online through many digital code sites. But just support the developer and buy it from the store, and treat yourself to a music pack (strongly recommend Linkin Park)
It really is hours of fun and it honestly doesn’t get boring, plus the higher the difficulty the harder the workout 😂 lose some of that lockdown timber
I want PSVR2 and I want it now !
There are hundreds of PSVR games?
@Max_the_German Of course there is
A few other good deals I spotted:
Doom 3 VR - £7.99
Statik - £3.59
Star Wars Pinball VR - £14.99 (only a 25% saving but still a good amount of content for your money)
@Max_the_German it’s approaching 700 games
Nice! I generally wishlist VR games that I find interesting rather than buy them right away, so this sale could be a pretty hard on my wallet.
@AdamNovice @kingbreww The fact that somebody interested in video games like me does not know that is a good indication why PSVR was only a small success.
@Quintumply How fast do you guys think of the subheadings? Does it take you a minute or do they pop into your head? I ask cause they’re all great!
@Max_the_German Maybe you just didn't take much notice of VR stuff ?
@Just_2_milky Haha they mostly arrive pretty quickly
@hypnotoad Well, before buying a VR set I only knew that RE7, Moss, Farpoint, Thumper, Astro Bot, UNTIL dawn and Rez were VR compatible. That was only thanks to the freebies and all the press on RE7 and Rush of Blood when Sony first started showing it off. It went pretty quiet tbh and I think the free games have done a lot for it, despite it being at the end of it's life.
Just waiting for PSVR2.
Love VR on PC (so already sold) But it makes no sense to divide the pool of games into different hardware. Get ALYX on PS5 and Blood & Truth on PC. Focus on building the market for publishers.
Not everyone can afford (or want) to buy 2 headset.
@Max_the_German
I think it’s like the Sega CD.
People always say the Sega CD was an abject failure, but it sold around 3 million units worldwide out of about 48 million Genesis consoles. That’s actually a decent attach rate considering the high cost of the hardware throughout its lifespan.
PSVR has a similar attach rate, so it’s a success in my book. Just not a runaway success like the Gen 1 Kinect was for Microsoft which managed like a 15% attach rate or something crazy like that.
@hypnotoad Yes, that is true. And communication is a matter of sending and of receiving. Sony‘s job is to inform me about the endless possibilities of PSVR in a way so I 1) know it, 2) like it and 3) buy it. They didn‘t even reached 1). Is a my fault as a customer with a more than average interest in video games? Or is it Sony‘s fault? I have never seen or noticed a TV or Youtube spot like „More than 500 games with PSVR support, endless opportunities“. That is bad marketing.
@Max_the_German
I have over 100 PSVR games, which I just added to with The Persistence, Iron Man, Audica, Rick & Morty, and L.A. Noire's VR Case Files. It's basically it's own sub-ecosystem on my PS5 now. I just have to swap out the HDMI cable since I have the first gen version that doesn't have HDR pass through.
The 3D visuals with 3D sound are insane. Best investment of last gen that has carried over and plays better this gen (minus the cord swapping).
