Woah, nice nice nice! I've clocked 300hrs on KCD2 so far, still haven't finished. Busy helping beautiful Katherine any chance I get, side quests are so good!
Looks cool but wondering why the same folk outraged about Horizon Gathering's art style are not outraged about this. Don't say MP, so everyone else can make MP games except PlayStation...what a joke 😆 and I'm not even a MP fan that much.
It looks great, love the artstyle, would love to try it and I respect SP game makers needing an online game on the side to keep the company floating. As long as it funds more SP games in the future it's fine.
The backlash is crazy. This is one of the best looking cartoony artstyles ever made. Can't believe people can be so narrow-minded when it comes to graphic styles. It looks better than Fortnite stop playing. Plus this isn't Horizon 3 to expect the same graphics, this is completely different.
2nd playthrough of the legendary Baldur's Gate 3 with the masterpiece Karlach, can't say this enough, Karlach is just one of the best characters of all time! Still continuing the adventures of Henry in KCD2. Plus some CP2077 and MHWilds.
Still on the wonderful KCD2. I just stepped out of an armourer's shop and met some guy making noise outside, talked to him boom a quest line started. This is just one of the beautiful things about this game, aside all the side quests markers on the map, quests with no markers can start out of the blue. Game is so immersively hardcore when you're sneaking there's no highlighting of enemies. What a game! Then will be helping Judy on her quests in the spectacularly raytaced CP2077.
I think it's all the craze about content creation and clout. With a game like GTA, people just want to be the first to get something. At this rate, I believe the story of the physical version being delayed.
@Ravix You'd think for how even a single enemy can game over you, Warhorse would reduce enemy awareness like FromSoftware but no, they have the sharpest of senses. I get why some people won't bother, KCD is just brutal especially the first.
Doing gigs in Dogtown in CP2077, partying in KCD2, more hunting in MHWilds, exploring Caspian in Metro Exodus, still trying to find secret pathways in the mighty Elden Ring. Sigh, there I go playing a lot of games at once again, times have changed, a lot of games are just too good.
Number of awards have just increased. Great game but didn't really make me feel how Elden Ring did. Plus it's certainly nowhere near games like RDR2 or GTAV so yeah having the most award count ultimately doesn't mean too much.
@brn70121 Well even if the Todd has made bad decisions, he's one of the key people that's made Bethesda what it is. Why don't you rather play other games instead of waiting for a single man to leave a single studio.
Feels like "shadow dropping" means the enhancements is nothing to write home about or it's full of bugs, and avoiding reviews that would probably mark it down. Divinity OS2's PS5 shadow drop is so underwhelming, no better textures, nothing.
@Neonix Well Witcher 3's combat doesn't have the best of reputations so we could equally say it's also walking and talking mostly, yet the game's a classic. KCD2's main and side stories are also told well with so much immersion, that's where the hype is, plus you can't call it overhyped when there's Clair and it's barely won any awards.
Shocking Bloodborne didn't win a single award at the TGA15 🤦♂️. Pretty sure it was just too hard at the time for people to even care. Same thing with KCD2 now.
@Midnyte-Monkey You've been missing out for a long time then. It's so unique, nothing like it. Could've easily won goty in 2015 but Witcher 3 was also so good. I still play it till this day even after the plat. Bloodborne is timeless.
@Matthewnh "But, let us be honest, GTA6 is just going to be more of the same, and hardly groundbreaking."
Bout one of the biggest lies I've ever heard about a Rockstar game. With every iteration they make sure there's that wow feature other games are going to struggle to emulate. Yeah because there were smartphones and ordering stuff online in San Andreas, they copy paste stuff like Ubisoft but have to take more than a decade doing it. You are joking!
@naruball Yep, when people say they don't have time for a 100hr SP game but go on to play MP games for 1000s of hours. Or buy 10 different 10hr games for say £200+ when they could've just stuck with that single £60 100hr RPG.
@MrPeanutbutterz Well websites aren't made up of a single person, so it can't be too subjective, they have their personal top 5s for that. Imagine TGA going all subjective and choosing CoD or Fortnite as GOTY but no, there's a lot of objectivity going on there.
Well makes a nice change to see y'all didn't put a PS exclusive at #1 by default. I mean if there are multiplats that are better, just let them win. If an exclusive is better, fine. In 2020, I didn't think any game was beating TLOU2, it deserved all its awards. But Spiderman over BG3, naaah.
@Northern_munkey 😄 not surprised, watched just 3mins gameplay video of ArcRaiders, it looked really good! At this rate, guessing you own every damn racer out there.
@Northern_munkey "serious patience" 😂😂 ikr. Funny enough I haven't even finished KCD1 or 2, truth is they're best enjoyed when you take time with them.
Still on GTA's only competition now - Cyberpunk 2077. I just love this game! Didn't know Deathloop had RT, looks like a whole new game on that setting. Will try to see if i can rescue Capon for the hundredth time in KCDII.
The Game Awards, Goldenstick, game sites etc...maybe how winners are decided should be looked at again. Cause it's looking like once a game is great and cheap/free it's likely to sweep all awards. Millions would've bought it and would skip the other more expensive ones that are equally great. And then you ask for public voting, the expensive ones don't stand a chance, cause most likely most people bought that one £50 game the entire year. It's like free to play Wuthering Waves winning over Clair for Player's Choice in TGA. Same with game sites, when you hold a poll, people are likely to vote for the single game they own by default. So I think public voting could be quite flawed.
Great characters, great music, great art style, unique enemies, all round great game but...still can't beat Final Fantasy in its prime. KCD2 is more my style and again my GOTY.

A score with less than 50 critics doesn't really say too much.
Re: Monster Hunter Wilds 'Large Scale Expansion' to Be Revealed This Summer, New Update Incoming
Yeah playing Wilds a lot currently. Game is just superb. It's simply the best action game around. Looking forward to the expansion.

Will they ever fix is forever angry eyebrows too...

But they're still a force, northing happened to them. Sounds like you just want them to fail.

Left Henry at some church in Sasau and stopped playing after hearing rumours of a PS5 version. Still not done with KCD2 even.
Re: Rumour: GTA 6 Might Not Launch Physically at First to Avoid Leaks
Most people who really want it will buy it digitally to play at midnight, can't be waiting for no delivery guy to bring it later in the day.

Absolutely agree with him. If sites like Eurogamer had its way, the games industry would only make indie games.
Someone makes a weird albeit cool looking 5hr game.
Eurogamer: 10/10 masterpiece, Game of the Year.
Re: Bloodborne Mentioned: Director Calls it a 'Special Game' and the 'Strongest Reflection' of Himself

Focusing on a few games and finishing them before moving on to the next set. This is going to be almost everyone's resolution though.
