@Rich33 Well I was thinking you're referring to Persona/Metaphor type of time limit. If this Dawnwalker's time limit is anything like KCD's then I see no issue, so long as there's enough time after time-sensitive missions to do as you please.
@Rich33 Don't think I've seen any time limits in KCD1/2. It realistically pauses time and doesn't allow you to skip during certain missions which makes sense. That's just about all I've seen, after you're free to do whatever.
Hmmm I don't think Rockstar have ever done early access. Their games are high quality, even if they charge $100, it'd still sell. My only disappointment is after double dipping on GTAV from PS3 to 4, they expect me to triple dip on PS5 too. I could've even taken a $10 upgrade, but it's always $20 sale price.
@Yousef- is probably going through some things but then @UltimateOtaku91 makes a point - "fire Hulst fire Hulst fiiirreee!!" Nothing great about anyone losing their job!
@TimeDelayedGamer Faaaaccck you just reminded me of that impossible beach on Crushing. Spent 5hrs hearing "gotta make it to the beach" 😅. Thought getting the plat would be impossible because of that, but I got it in the end.
Like some have said there's only so much you can do when you go for realism, apart from outfits, skins, what else can you really add to sustain it. This is why GTAO is still going strong and RDO can't. You can believe a flying bike in GTA's world but not in 1899 RDO.
People's relationship with AC/Ubisoft is just weird. They go on and bash them all day long but are still eager to highly anticipate anything AC. Are they just in a hurry to buy it and smash it apart like those silly videos from back in the days - "smashing my new iphone/console/TV."
Yeah it was always a good time reading manuals on the way to school in my dad's car. And manuals were the only proof someone had a game, bring the "game book" to school tomorrow or you're lying, still, some would doubt and say you got it from a friend 😆.
Yeah so Hades 2 is so good I bought Hades 1. The stories in both are so interesting you feel like you can't wait to find out more plus the art styles are lovely. Then it's finding other quests from tipsters in other places after Henry got whooped by a drunk in a tavern, turning some criminals in, had to flee Kuttenberg for some time before they find him, and so the adventures with interesting side quest storylines continue in KCD2. Traveling with the Colonel and the band in Metro Exodus. Hunting and crafting from the most realistic and stunning monsters you ever seen in a game in MHWilds.
@Dogbreath Nah c'mon man, the fact that a game doesn't fit how you think all games should be doesn't mean those who love it don't have "lives." Same with people who say they have lives so they can't play 100hr games but go on to play 10 different 10hr games in a month, isn't that the same, if anything the former saved a ton of money. I haven't even played Returnal and not getting this in a hurry so you could just as easily skip it instead of wishing it'd be made to your style. Imagine Miyazaki caving in and adding difficulty options, that's it, the whole point of soulslike is dead. Just leave games to express their intended gameplay choice, if you don't like it, ignore it.
@somnambulance Lol 2025 was far from weak, if anything it was the awards that was weak over glazing E33. I'm just looking to see how replayable it is or if it'd be still talked about for years to come like ER, BG3, RDR2, BB, TW3 etc.
Seems strange with all the hype we forgot about this game pretty quickly...it's a classic but myself I haven't touched it since last year yet I'm still playing KCD2 and MHWilds.
Xbox always making unsustainable wrong moves. Having no exclusives - an incentive to own your console - is also another wrong move regardless the money their making, unless they want to drop the console business and go full publishing like SEGA.
Always funny when Bloodborne is like £7.99 but Dark Souls 3 is £22 and Sekiro £29.99. Why...Bandai and Acti why...Got Sekiro long time though, I just don't get the high price till now.
The base game scored higher and still think it's good but the one awful thing about this whole game - always online even for SP - I mean i won't really have an issue if it's just logging in but nooooooo...when there's an interruption in your network, the performance of the game drops - utterly ridiculous!
For real I think I'd pay for a $20 a year for Online Play or Free (if Free2Plays like Apex, Fortnite can do it why not PS) MINUS all those sometimes ridiculous Monthly Games.
So CoD was singlehandedly holding the price at ransom 🤦♂️. My 1 month PS Plus expired and couldn't be bothered renewing, multiplayer felt boring all of a sudden, perhaps I'd find it interesting again if online is free. I don't need those free monthly games taking up all the HD space anyway.
@RyPal Tell that to sports fans cheering on teams with veins on their necks to win pointless trophies which they aren't even going to get a share of the spoils after...ultimately you could say a lot of things people do are pointless but it's not anyone's place to determine which.
@Noone2025 it's not exactly pointless, I recently installed AC Odyssey because I remembered I'm at 80% trophies, certainly the Plat is within reach so yeah...trophies gives an incentive to revisit games.
@Zeke68 @Oram77 Yeah these things are complicated, you can't outright blame just one person. It can be difficult if you're put in certain positions where you still have to say Yes to all ridiculous things by the main boss. I'm leaning towards Ryan being the main problem, and that's why he's gone.
So Hulst is doing the "ridiculous things" and people blame him, when it was Ryan all along. Typical workplace bs, people taking flak for higher ups awful decisions.
Hades II. Sometimes you need to give a chance to games you think oh "it's not for me", they might just surprise you. The game's brilliant. How the heck did they manage to put in new dialogue with everyone every time you return to your abode...gameplay and art direction is fantastic! Now I'm in a hurry to get the first soon as I'm done with this. Plus, KCD2 as usual, the side quests never end but it's just a joy to play in that beautiful world. Same with CP2077's crazy lighting raytraced world which I'll be undertaking some gigs in. I reinstalled Prey - that game from Arkane, damn it's a gem!
@Balaam_ 🤣🤣 You're also never getting over that one huh...honestly I couldn't get into Skyrim back in the day, it clicked a bit later but to be fair, at the time Dark Souls was a new formula people weren't familiar with, Sony execs didn't even believe in it. I'm glad Miyazaki is getting his flowers now anyway. On the other hand people knew Oblivion, so expanding on that and making Skyrim with all that freedom and content was a gamechanger. Years later, people still talk about Skyrim so that award has been justified i believe. Years later, RDR2 is still being talked about, GoW18 not so much.
KCD2 won Narrative, rightly so. Still wondering how this BAFTA & TGA gave goty to GoW in 2018...when gamers worldwide have recently voted RDR2 the GOAT...Awards schemes totally lost it in 2018.
Woah! This year?! Thought it'd be some 2027 release. Hoping it turns out great!
When people whine about controls, i wonder if they want every game fast paced where the character has no weight, floating around like paper where their aim auto snaps to target, everything is smooth and easy, why don't you skip the entire game to the credits and don't bother controlling anything. Exodus goes for realism, there's a lot of recoil from your guns if you don't modify them with parts you find, every bullet counts and they are rare to come by. Metro isn't some run and gun like CoD or Fortnite!
Got this yesterday, looking to see what the hype is about. I'm loving it so far, nice artwork and gameplay. Thought it was just button mashing walk in the park but it's proving otherwise. Giving that Soulslike satisfaction when you make a bit of progress.
My only problem with rain in open worlds is when your character starts some long chatter with someone and it starts to rain...like can't you see it's raining...Geralt be discussing witcher contract payments with poor fellas in the rain! That would be a lot of work to make characters react in real time to rain not the usual holding of umbrellas. They'd have to program and animate for the characters having the dialogue to go under a shed and continue their talk 😆 I trust a dev like R* or ND to pull that off.
@DennisReynolds i like how you're being honest about the game, after so many hours with it I reckon. This is why I normally regard reviews because a verdict is giving after the game's completion or several hours after, not those extra excited 5hr playtime brand new game spur of the moment 10/10 User review scores. We'll see how people actually feel about this game months later.
Re-review? Isn't that against the law 😄. Dunno if it's a good or bad thing. If other sites follow, games are going to be released unfinished and ask for re-reviews.

@EfYI @Northern_munkey @LowDefAl @chatbot Say it as it is brothers, piracy is the major cause, nothing else.

@Jaz007 But what you wanted is what Sony said was awful and should be fixed.
