@PeakyBlinder Actually no because before if you ignored a party it didn't automatically add you into a group. There's also that PS messages bug that occurs when the app causes you to run out of RAM, which in-turn causes the messages app to continuously give you a "rebuilding database" error that is an absolute nightmare to fix.

@PeakyBlinder Except parties disappear once disbanded, groups will continue to bug the living hell out of you with notifications long after you're done with it. They can be deleted, but I mean it's a hassle if 10-12 people get invited separately that's 10-12 groups that need to be deleted and risks you accidentally deleting other groups you're a part of. It's all an unnecessary convoluted mess now. The old adage if it ain't broke don't fix it comes to mind in this situation.

@get2sammyb Does the UI and games scale down to 1080p? I have a 2 year old 50" TV that I got for $89 during Black Friday and was wondering if the UI and games will just be a tiny box in the middle of my screen? If so, it may be a VERY longtime until I purchase a PS5 since my TV will probably last for quite a few years and while much more affordable, 4K TV's are still outside of what I can afford, at least one's that are reasonably large.

So Starfield is NOT coming to PS5 confirmed! Seriously who in their right mind believes this clown. Literally every console that releases, he expects next-gen hardware to be released next year starting in year 2 and runs with that prediction every year after that till it actually happens. 😂

@Porco To be fair another equally big problem is child births have been on a steady decline for the past two decades there. And most Japanese adults simply can't game due to a multitude of reasons, both culturally and due to having busier lives when compared to the average Westerner.

We have strong Spanish influence, especially here in the desert southwest portion of the United States which is why Soccer is mostly called Futbol in our region of the states.

@get2sammyb It's going to be funny when the PS5 has been out for awhile and the headline game will be Horizon: Forbidden West with PS5 and PS4 tags for the release. I'm really happy it's getting a PS4 version since I can get it at launch that way, but has Sony ever released first party titles on a last-gen console that long after the start of a new console generation?

@UnlimitedSevens And the franchises we love from whatever third party devs get snatched up by Sony would probably disappear or take a back seat to whatever first party IP is handed to them as their next project. Sony makes amazing games, don't get me wrong, but best case scenario the acquired third party's own IP releases would slow to a trickle or worst case disappear entirely.

Anyways second party studios make sense, but let's not hope that a ton of third party companies with zero affiliation to the big three get eaten alive and lose their creative freedom.

@Kidfunkadelic83 Nah there will be much more releasing this week. Sony no longer does press releases of the upcoming week's games so this is likely only 10% to 20% of this week's actual PS4 releases.

@Kunfoostu What do you do that makes your DS4 break after only a few hundred hours? I'll admit they're absolute garbo by first party controller standards, but as long as you aren't abusing your controller by jarring the fronk out of your analog sticks, you can easily get well over 1,000 to 2,000 hours out of it. That said since my launch Wii's Wiimote and Nunchuk, Wii U gamepad from 2014, and my original PS2 AND PSOne controllers all still work, it shows how crappy the DS4 controllers are since I already replaced two of them...

@Feena The last JRPG we got as part of PS+ was some silly PS3 JRPG that I liked, but can't remember its name. The main character was called Chou Chou and it was a silly adventure where she and her minions tried to take over the world by enslaving each world's demon lord and hero. It was definitely fanservicey, but fun. It was offered for free back in Summer of 2017 I believe.

@stinkyx All of those "closed" shops still allow you to redownload previous purchases. For example I can still redownload previously purchased WiiWare and Wii Virtual Console games on the Wii Shop Channel despite it having "closed" a year or two ago.

@Medic_Alert To be fair the issues were mostly only present in the Switch version. The PS2 and Gamecube version was much better.

@NomNom I do. Like I said before I only buy one game in the series every generation and it's always a second-hand copy so the developer and publisher makes absolutely nothing off my purchase.

Because trust me, it'll bite you on the rear someday when the games you like are also affected and gamers like yourself simply watched and laughed while more casual gamers got rear bumped by the company.

@Ken_Kaniff I pretty much buy one Madden game every generation so each game I get is usually pretty fresh, but I gotta agree with the fans on this one, Madden 18 on PS4 is barely different from Madden 13 on PS3 aside from the visuals.

@AdamNovice Not really. I did not see a single JRPG or any Japanese fighters, heck it looked like those of us who like Anime style or Japanese games will be SOOL with the PS5. Also there were WAY too many experimental games with atypical or bizarre gameplay. The PS5 also looks as large as a PC setup so it likely won't fit in our entertainment consoles. Lastly, Bloody hell does the PS5 look ugly. About the only place it would actually look good in is the living quarters of a starfleet ship...

@Bagshot It's not bad at all. The VA's are the same as the anime which has many top Japanese voice talents so it'll be great there, assuming you don't mind Japanese dub with English subs.

This looks like an amazing game. I have liked all of the SAO games, but each game has gotten better and better! This one looks like it may be absolutely amazing!

@JohnKarnes I'm guessing most are probably barely working at that price. NEVER get anything below very good condition on Ebay because 9 times out of 10 it'll be broken.

@InsertUsername Another thing worth mentioning is that some things, for example PS3 controllers are actually completely impossible to find, even in used condition.

@InsertUsername Except consoles don't last forever and people would prefer to not pay twice the original retail price for used legacy consoles, perhaps? Smdh.
