@get2sammyb I like the anime art direction. Colorful doesn't = ugly...smdh. It does look dated, but there's no way to create a 24 player online 3-D arena royale game with modern graphics as no one would be able to run the game even with 5G internet lol. 😂

Companies that do that should be shutdown as companies like that will sue everyone. Remember Blackberries? We have to call the berry Black Raspberry now because a mobile phone company forced us to rename a freaking fruit that was discovered and named thousands of years earlier because of "copyrights"...

@Littlemidge1986 Please, the engine is relatively new and TBH nobody has even remotely mastered using the engine yet, it'd be like saying the PS4 was tapped out by 2016 and that we should have just moved on. The engine has loads of untapped potential plus It'd also be unfair for PS4 owners if they started switching focus on a separate PS5 version as there aren't all that many completed full games on the engine yet. There's a fine line between drawing in new players and alienating existing players, PR requires a very delicate balance between the two or your company's reputation turns to mudd.

@Americansamurai1 Right now the PS5 is bottlenecked in its potential growth because of the chip shortages. The PS4 will still have more active players than PS5 for at least another 3-5 years as a result so while I agree that a PS5 port should come eventually, it is not really necessary for the foreseeable future.

@Quintumply Is it possible to use the templates with created or imported assets? If not that suddenly makes the feature pretty useless.

@ChrisDeku Hard disagree. It sounds more like you're burnt out with the JRPG genre which is fine, but the genre is fine as-is, last thing fans of the genre want is even more games trying to change JRPG's into a completely new and unrelated genre...

@PixelRunner The fact that everything is online IS A HUGE ISSUE. The fact that a hacker can completely shutdown all forms of technology to the point that we could instantly be thrust back to a pre-industrial Revolution level of technology because we think it's a great idea to have it all stored on servers is dumb AF. With climate change, lost old-school technologies, and the fact that 90% plus of the population don't have any skills or knowledge to function without the aid of technology from the past 400 years, it'll be absolute doomsday if this frankly highly probable scenario plays out. 😫

@ShogunRok Does this game bring back the traditional equipment system or does it still use the same dreadful RNG tiered equipment system that Xillia introduced. I HATE that system as the RNG gods have forsaken me and I've actually been softlocked with no hope of progression due to horrible RNG draws. 😠

All I see is Sony pulling a Wii and distancing themselves from traditional games once PSVR 2 launches, which is terrible for those of us who're visually impaired and can't use VR for more than 15 minutes without vomiting our lungs out. 😷🤒😵

I was having problems redownloading some Vita games on my PSTV this morning, but everything else seems to be working just fine for me.

@Jimmer-jammer See my post above. PSN Profile's website grabs trophy information of all PSN accounts whether they are members of the site or not. Sony would literally have to ban every PSN account to rectify this which would be business sepuku and possible lawsuits and prison time for the Sony execs.

Imagine if they do this to accounts linked to any third party website? They'd ban half of all PlayStation owners and lock them out of all of their digital purchases. That would be...nevermind the words I want to say are ban-worthy lol. 🙄

I'm guessing Discord integration will replace the messages and party apps on PS4 and is likely why Sony dropped messaging support for PS3 and Vita and limited party's on Vita to only allow communication between fellow Vita players.

The update I'm looking forward to is likely the 10.00 update that will add Discord feature integration to PS4. That will basically give us back a feature similar to communities, plus loads more interesting features like emote support for messages on console, etc.

Seriously even if you try to buy a console online as soon as a restock is announced, it's already sold out within literal seconds...Also there aren't many people who can afford sitting in front of their computer for weeks waiting for a restock for an instant add to cart before it sells out 15 seconds later. 😫

@Abeedo Uh...every FF through XII had a fantasy setting, but that is NOT the issue with the newer FF games, the garbo story and or gameplay are the offenders...

FF VII Remake is the only exception and Squeenix buggered that up by screwing PS4 owners by only releasing the first part on PS4 and expecting people to miraculously find a mythical PS5 to play the future parts. Btw most of us aren't rich enough to pay $1,000+ for a scalped PS5, which Squeenix apparently didn't get that memo...

@ShogunRok Ugh...it's time for Squeenix to ruin their other flagship JRPG series just like they did with Final Fantasy and no VII Remake doesn't count as its source material is from a game released before they ruined the series.

@RBRTMNZ Well PS4 is FAR more powerful than the Switch so I doubt the loading screens will be longer than 4-5 seconds in the PS4 port.

@Quintumply This is why I watch what's coming over to platforms I don't have, because very rarely is a truly amazing indie game ever permanently limited exclusively to said platform. Timed exclusive yes, but usually only for 3-6 months.
