@Nich0 Another thing that I get is that both games are of the same rather unpopular genre so the backlash is understandable, but the entitlement is kinda ridiculous. That said the PS Now thing is absolutely a legitimate thing to be upset about. Also for those who say, but we got Uncharted: NDC and Journey for free...only non-PS+ members got them for free and get to permanently keep them. Uncharted: NDC was a free PS+ game this February and Journey was free a few years back which I redeemed both of them before the pandemic promotion. While I like what Sony did, it doesn't change the fact that the gesture was useless to us PS+ subscribers.

@PSbest I'm just saying that it's okay if someone cries during a scene in a game, just because you and I wouldn't doesn't mean that it's abnormal by any means.

@PSbest Some people don't cry when they witness someone die right in front of them irl, sure crying during a game is a little extreme, but it shows that they are sensitive and oftentimes sensitive people are far more kind than a lizard who is unmoved by death as I mentioned above.

@wiiware Here's the thing. They aren't bad games, but are EXTREMELY niche. Anyone interested in either of these games already has them and the 90% that don't are stuck sucking a lemon this month.

@Saucymonk Not only that but two dark games that will remind us there's an ongoing pandemic. C'mon kids are quarantined too and not all of us adults appreciate having twisted or dark games shoved down our throats by the fistloads every month. Something more lighthearted would be much appreciated.

@wiiware PS3 beat out Wii and 360 in 2016. So every PlayStation home console so far has beat out the competition by the time they were discontinued.

@nessisonett Not really, Cloud softens up immensely once they leave Midgar in the original. He was awkward till the end of disc 1, but a lot of his cray-cray issues were caused by a certain lab specimen whose name starts with the letter J, Sephiroth, and his mako poisoning. He stopped being a d*ck long before the end of disc 1. Of course given the massive changes in Remake this could well pan out differently.

Honestly PS5 and NeXtBoX should be postponed for a couple of years and just focus on one more wave of current generation releases since there are 100 million PS4 owners versus the maybe 1 million PS5 owners by the end of its first year on the market. There is no way that the PS5 will sell well at all during this economic turmoil and will likely fail to reach even Wii U numbers if Sony goes ahead and launches the console this year as planned.

It's all a moot point since it's unlikely either console will sell particularly well given the economic depression we are on the verge of.

My digital copy of FF VII Remake will take FOREVER to download.

@playstation_king And why not release digital first rather than shelving it for a couple of years and bleeding dry financially?

@playstation_king Also games such as FF VII Remake and Trials of Mana have already gone gold so there's no reason to delay them since those games are already finished and ready for release.

@playstation_king except a vaccine is 12-18 months away there will be no game industry left if they take a 12-18 month vacation.

Just as long as essentials such as food, water, and electricity are still available we'll live. Seriously though if our power company were to shutdown out of Corona Virus fears it'd be fatal for 100,000's since my city can push 120°F during the Summer...

@Jaz007 No because the groundwork and engine are already developed so the next parts will come much faster. I'm guessing we'll get an episode each year after part 1.

@Jaz007 It's not THAT bad. I'd say it's mediocre at worst and decent at times at best, but that's just my opinion. It's still decent enough to play through once and delete given that it's a freebie.

@JayDub You do realize that the vast majority of us would rather play a game we want in September 2020 then have to wait a few years to get a PS5 to get it, especially since it won't look all that much better on PS5 since it was developed with the PS4 in mind.

@FullbringIchigo Actually no they didn't. The anime ended at the end of the Alvarez War arc while the manga continued on into the 100 Year Quest arc where the gang take on a quest that is expected to take them 100 years to accomplish. 😉

@FullbringIchigo Also I feel bad that Trials of Mana will have to wait, but we gotta show love for the Fairy Tail JRPG. Who knows, if it sells well enough, maybe the creator & Funimation might decide to resume the anime and aire the final story arc, whether it's a movie, OVA, or a short 12-13 episode one-off season?

@FullbringIchigo I'll be getting this and FF VII Remake as my birthday presents on April 2nd. That said I'll probably focus on FF VII Remake until I beat it, much like you.
