@Bizzy I think at least for the first few years we'll be getting pretty much all non-exclusive third party games on PS5 during the PS6 's life-cycle with continued support for easier to port games on PS5 for possibly the entire generation.

@Reeneman I mean the game isn't entirely online only. There's quite a bit of content you can play without a constant internet connection after the initial download and the occasional update that adds even more content.

@VeldinX If PS6 is a streaming box they'll lose most of their customers. Despite what the pro streaming box gamers say about it being the wave of the future, the vast majority of gamers are still opposed to supporting such a device.

@Gaia093 You also have to keep in mind how many countries don't have access to the eShop or PSN which renders games not playable without an update completely unplayable for millions of PS5/Switch/Switch 2 owners.

@TheArt Not yet. We'll probably get a teaser for Title Update 5 during Monday's event. Then once Title Update 5 is fully unveiled that's when we'll likely see a teaser for the major expansion for Wilds.

@Th3solution Oh yeah, there are hundreds of active games that're still in development. One word of warning, however, as most of the newer projects either work better on PS5 or are PS5 exclusive. So if you have a PS5 it's best to play on that. I also hear that PS5 Pro projects are being developed that might not run too well on a base PS5.

Glad I got my 1 TB Micro SD card before prices soared. I bought a 1 TB SanDisk for my Nintendo Switch for $69.99 a mere six months ago and now the same card I got for $69.99 half a year ago costs $149.99. 🤦

@SterlingEyes Doesn't seem too useful if, in the future, the entire populous dies from starvation from there being no jobs left for humans and heads of the businesses suffering the same fate due to no one being able to purchase their goods or services. This new update with user-generated content has reignited my interest in GI so I'm re-downloading the game and also will be giving Honkai Star Rail and ZZZ a proper chance as well since HoYoVerse actually seems to be doing some rather interesting updates for their games now, instead of just adding more story and characters. Not saying the base content is bad, just that it needed something interesting to hook hardcore gamers as while good there wasn't anything unique about their games that made them must-play when hardcore gamers likely have dozens of other games that they payed for vying for their limited gaming time.

And yet crickets were chirping a couple weeks ago when the Ghost of Yotei animated wallpaper dropped on PS5. 🦗🦗🦗

@belmont It's delisting in November I think, which gives us about 3 months to finish the game on PS+ before it gets delisted. Which I'd assume it'll simply stay on the games library that entire 3 months.

Given everything going on with the tariff situation there's a chance that Japanese companies could just find it more profitable to no longer do business in the states so the longer it's delayed the higher the odds of it never being released here if things get too bad.

@themightyant None of those solutions fix the problem for those affected by the issue. The ONLY fix is turning your internet off in the settings, but then you can't use most of your features on PS5 lol...

I'm affected too and the menu is SOOOOOOOO slow and laggy and worse yet I have a second rare issue that makes my PS5 have to rebuild my external hard-drives database EVERY SINGLE TIME I boot-up my PS5...🙀
