@truerbluer Also most of the best localized Japanese games release after the point in which the PS4 is at in the life-cycle of a console. Most of the best Japanese series wouldn't exist outside of Japan if there were expectations of the publishers and devs to stop localizing more games in the west on the previous generation's hardware, the second a new generation began...

@LiamCroft The link you posted is just blank at the moment and the deals are definitely NOT live on PS4's storefront yet. It might be IP blocking shenanigans, but there is no way to see the sale as an American just yet.

@ShogunRok Question. Are these video downloads or streaming? If it's downloads that would be alright for days when the internet is lousy or outright down altogether. If it's streaming, what kind of incentive is that? Most of us will already have access to this content through other streaming services lol. xD

@Culjoseth I still play my PS3 and Vita. I always see two or three of my friends on PS3 daily and at least eight or nine playing Vita everyday. It's a much larger group than you realize because if someone remote plays PS4 on their Vita is considers them online on PS4 instead of Vita.

@danlk1ng Super Slim PS3's seldom get YLoD, disc read errors are the main issues with those, but if you have a mostly digital collection that isn't a problem.

The real issue is the lack of decent controllers for the console since official controllers are nowhere to be found and quality third party controllers are as rare as unicorn poop lol. 😂

Wow this review is a travesty, I don't even know if the reviewer even lives on the same planet as me. This game is not perfect by any means, but is a solid game imo. I've seen actual dumpster fires get a 7/10 here, but this 7/10 game gets a 3/10 SMDH.

@BloodNinja Just go to your downloads list as usual. It's still located at the bottom of the store. All your games would still be listed there, however Wii games are tied to your console so buying a new one would not allow you to regain your downloads, unfortunately.

@LiamCroft Question? Will PSP games available on Vita still be able to be purchased through August or will they be removed when the PSP Store shuts down?

@TowaHerschel7 It's the same situation as Sony. You can't purchase anything new, but your games library is redownloadable.

@Tasuki To be fair not many people have a PS5 yet and anyone who wants one will have a better chance of discovering concrete proof that Sasquatch exists than finding a PS5 lol.

You guys need to do a better job explaining why certain people are unable to launch software they own. Simply put, make sure your PS4 is set as your primary PS4 in your system settings and that problem will go away.

I get sick of people strolling in saying crap like you did like true fans that browse these communities are at fault. No, it's the CoD and Fortnite Brodudes that caused this which typically couldn't give two poops about gaming communities...

I love the manipulation of this website acting like any cross-gen release is a PS5 exclusive. This will kill those games as nobody can find PS5's in the wild and that'll likely hold true for the rest of the year. And no scalpers don't count...

@johnvboy So I guess a 500 year old heirloom should be sold for a few cents based on that logic? Scalpers are evil, but saying no items should be auctioned above retail even if they were discontinued years, decades, or centuries ago is pretty dumb as well.

@get2sammyb Uh...yeah that's not the full list of PS4 games coming in 2021, it's missing more titles than titles actually listed and you don't even have first party PS4 titles that also happen to be coming to PS5 such as Horizon Forbidden West listed presumably to promote the PS5, which the vast majority of us will never find until the scalper bots are taken care of lol.

@rjejr Uh...not in large numbers. Before the pandemic it was mostly limited to people with respiratory issues. The vast majority of people in the country didn't wear masks before now.

@gort132 God of War 3: Remastered was offered back in 2017. Sony doesn't offer the same game twice lol.

@The-Grezzly-Bear There will be more than just that. As Liam and I explained before, Sony no longer keeps press websites or consumers informed of weekly releases. There is almost certainly going to be at least one surprise gem of an indie release that will likely be overlooked. It's a shame that most good indie games are stealth released and fly under most gamer's radar.

@Wormold There isn't just one game. For some reason Push Square hasn't explained that the weekly press releases no longer are sent out so it makes it hard to know what will be releasing outside of AAA retail games each week, but I guess it makes for good clickbait acting like Sony has an empty release schedule?

I think it looks rather charming for a 3-D indie RPG despite the technical issues. As long as it isn't a $40 plus game I'll get it, if not I'll wait for a sale.

@Stuffgamer1 @Deadhunter Strange? Because the Kohl's here in the states are basically like Sears, they have some clothes, but appliances, home supplies, and tools are the main things they sell here, alongside some electronics, movies, and games.

@rjejr I'd hardly call next year meaningless for the PS4. We're getting YS IX and probably The Legend of Heroes: Trails of The Beginnings on PS4 which don't have a PS5 version planned at present. Then we have games that'll be released on both PS5 as well as PS4 which include Horizon: Forbidden West, Final Fantasy VII Remake: Episode II, Balan Worderworld, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Tales of Arise, Digimon World Survive, and MANY others!

Next year will still be an amazing year for those of us who have to wait awhile before upgrading to PS5.

Wow the Sony Ponies are in full-force here. I thoroughly enjoy Sony, but the blind loyalty that a lot of you are showing is quite appalling.

@Panthers There are quite a few lengthy ones out there. Stardew Valley has 100's of hours of content, Hollow Knight has 20-30 hours which is alot by Metroidvania standards. Ary has 15-20 hours of content, Soul Saga from Disastercake will be a 50+ hour JRPG with great 3D visuals on PS4/PS5/XBSeX/PC, etc.

@Panthers Gotta love nonsensical blanket statements. Seriously there are some amazing indie games, but most of the garbo we got on PS+ were not representative of said quality. It'd be like saying I've bought five AAA games in my life and all of them sucked so therefore all AAA games suck, which is equally untrue. I'm certainly not saying the indie games you've played weren't crap, but that there are good ones out there, even good ones that have modern visuals as well.

@hoffa007 Nope dying light hasn't been on PS+ since February of 2018 at the latest because I don't have it and I bought my PS4 in March of 2018 and redeem every game on the IGC regardless of if I'm interested. You never know when you'll hear something that'll pique your interest in a game that you previously had no interest in.

For crying out. I'm honestly shocked that the comments haven't been locked yet. This is the most off-the-rails and heated discussion I've ever seen on this website.

And yeah, unfortunately ES6 and the likes will almost certainly be Xbox exclusives as much as it pains me to admit it.
