The recent reveal of Larian Studios' next game, Divinity, has sparked renewed interest in the developer's back catalogue, with Baldur's Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2 experiencing concurrent player spikes and extra sales.
Swen Vincke, the team's CEO, put out a social media post earlier today sharing that sales of the two RPGs have been "incredible" since Divinity was confirmed at The Game Awards last December. In the case of Divinity: Original Sin 2, it had its best-selling month since release all the way back in 2017.
What will have helped boost the title is the new versions on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 at discounted prices.
