I had every opportunity to play on my xbox, still not interested lol. My interest is mostly centered around the OG and 360 games stuck just on xbox going everywhere. #FreeMistwalker

But when you also make games that are off putting to players, less likely they are buy it and forget about it. Seems to be Sony’s future 1st party games

They can keep making them. I and many others who have bought their games just will no longer do so. Their first party studio revenues will wither and they will have to do layoffs and closures and articles will be asking why this is happening

@LogicStrikesAgain i mean yeah i see that argument, but i think the question is only valid if xbox leadership was running the show. Heads of microsoft like the rest of microsoft are software companies going everywhere where xbox was the sole hardware lock down the software piece. Now that theres been more investment and constant expenses from xbox, microsoft is much more involved and they care much less about hardware than they do software performanc

@LogicStrikesAgain the 180 would be challenging at this point. Sales are well behind the xbox one, and with all the games being ported, soon all will be day and date, more consumers will just buy the PS which has everything as well as established libraries. Add in their current moment with tariffs where sony might have been able to build up quite a bit of stock in advance to maintain pricing, xbox is substantially more costly hardware wise. It’d be a long uphill battle just to regain what their losing from the last year or 2 let alone generation

Dont care personally but square needs to stop locking game to switch and switch/pc.

So how long till this one is shuttered. Also PS really needs teams and talent not based in the US

@Oram77 nah its still the top or one of the top sellers every year as well as a paid game the casuals actually buy

I just need Halo MCC and Mistwalker games to be liberated.

Bring the Ps3 collections natively. Also they need to up the quality for premium. Often 2 a month, disney license games no one wants, games without trophies etc

Just wish so many resources werent being used on this. Not sure how media can be so positive about a 1000 studio team in an expensive city that makes 1 game a decade with half that in the red, nut oh Japan Studio doesnt make a ton of money but we get like 5 games a gen from them

Makes zero sense. But i think it will change with the switch 2. Theyll definitely need to bring to more screens with the switches prices going to weed out alot of that customer base

They need to make +$4 billion on this game. Need to show why they were bought other than just draining resources. It’ll be 10 years til their next game

Hardware a gen behind but charging similar to current gen and actually more than current gen for digital only models

Is anyone dedicated to the switch even into these types of games. The hardware also for time being isnt going to be accessible in the states and overall is very overpriced. I dont see this finding people on nintendo at all

Well even nintendo is pushing for all digital. I’ll just have ti start holding off on day one purchases all around. Most western devs already not making stuff of any interest. Its most egregious as nintendos games are so cheap to make and dont need the price hike

Alot of the switch threat was just heavily neutered. Game prices 80/90 dollars and the hardware is no longer a cheap family friendly option which got a lot of users because of. They will lose alot of family sales and people buying as a secondary console to ps/xbox/pc
