@LogicStrikesAgain i mean yeah i see that argument, but i think the question is only valid if xbox leadership was running the show. Heads of microsoft like the rest of microsoft are software companies going everywhere where xbox was the sole hardware lock down the software piece. Now that theres been more investment and constant expenses from xbox, microsoft is much more involved and they care much less about hardware than they do software performanc

@LogicStrikesAgain the 180 would be challenging at this point. Sales are well behind the xbox one, and with all the games being ported, soon all will be day and date, more consumers will just buy the PS which has everything as well as established libraries. Add in their current moment with tariffs where sony might have been able to build up quite a bit of stock in advance to maintain pricing, xbox is substantially more costly hardware wise. It’d be a long uphill battle just to regain what their losing from the last year or 2 let alone generation
