I wonder how it will do with Naughty dogs cost to develop. Last of US 2 took significantly longer to sell and likely this one will take longer to reach as well. Looks insane graphically and im sure it will be a great game. That said, probably gonna push alot of people away which is understandable, its not the Naughty Dog that Amy Henning built up along with its fanbase

Its kinda hard to hit expectation when their games are targeted to a very small percentage of gamers who would play these games especially with rising cost

Ubisoft is not an enticing company to buy, they need to reduce headcount to 1/4 of its current size, they many projects in eternal limbo, recent releases poor reception and low sales with their future state to be losses as well.

This was said time and again. Alot of people myself included arent into PCs, don’t like streaming or have the ability to. Console is simple and easy, easily portable, etc.

Did they say if they are taking out food and thirst survival elements?

Well xbox jacked up gamepass price 2x like 33% so was there any real growth in sub count? Seems more like just squeezed more out of those who stayed and lost sales on xbox and pc

I do buy these lower budget games like Slitterhead currently. Banishers not a great example as from a view not very appealing from a glance

Stellar Blade should have been on the list. Easily in top 3 with FF7, and Astrobot. Also Like a Dragon was better than Metaphor

I just played Resistance this year. Forever its still a mystery why only Resistance 3 was playable on ps now. Again only streaming result sucks

Seriously what is the obsession with live service chasing. Few ever get the success companies dream of and the rest burns tens and hundreds millions of dollars. Sony has burned billions between Bungie, FireWalk and Haven as well as the other projects

I never did finish this, the pacing was terrible and so many puzzles. Fell off right as atreus got to agribolda or however you spell it.

Listening to a podcast now. Guy says he likes it like an 8-8.5 but wouldnt recommend it as there are alot more of these that are way better. Also says he skips all the dialogue cause its bad. If you are giving it a 8.5 it shouldnt be a game where you say, there are tons of better similar new games out and you skips half the point of these games. Remaster the first 2 for PS

I mean the number is gonna continue to escalate. So much focus on live service still resulting in total money sinks. Then Single player wise EU and NA studios are really pushing away alot of players in dropping quality and offputting naratives/characters etc. we have yet to see the Ubiosft cuts yet in full which are gonna be alot

@RBMango exactly. Temporary growth means nothing if they are only in for a month and dip. Like Starfield last year, it makes no beneficial change when subscribers spike for one month paying $17-$20 rather than them buying for $70

Pc growth for GP stagnated. Literally no growth on console without shifting units which they are not. Majority of people who actively use xbox and played Cod before already had gamepass or will upgrade from a lower level for no growth.

With Satya eying this release up and seeing Playstation trying to save this game from financial ruin, only more reason to go full send into 3rd party territory

Bold to Assume Bioware survives this release in todays industry of closure news. Whether good or not and sells or not could be a Square Enix didnt meet expectations nonetheless
