@ChrisDeku yeah i feel the xbox startegy over time has simply frustrated players as well with how long and still waiting for most of these games.

Short marketing burst and associating games with the platforms seems the best. Doesnt hurt to help prop up 3rd party games. They still see 30% of the sales regardless and makes extracting games that much easier from their emerging markets sectors

@themightyant yeah its insane and right there with you in not keeping up lol. Nintendo live or die on their content but now pn ps5/xbox its again about scope of impact given theres less air for games to breathe these days. Its why even with all its acquisitions and supposed lineup, xbox consoles partially fant get traction. established Libraries, impactful timed/permanent console exclusives, and despite what media says the xbox 1st games havent really been more than mediocre to draw people times from the glut of 3rd party games elsewhere

@8bitOG im not saying it shouldn’t be on PC on anything. I’m just annoyed but this glazing on pc gaming and constant media crapping on console gaming. Ff16 got the same thing for 3.5 mil in a month on Ps5. Came to Pc and suddenly all was great, but was later report by matt pisc… i think that it sold like 260k in 3 months at high discount pricing. Using the it was the top seller this week with nothing of note released.

Also thanks, anyone who hasnt yet should watch Vikings, great show

I dont understand the media and how obviously biased it is towards xbox and pc. It likely sold like 200-300k copies and at $40-$50 too. After steams cut they made like 10 mil. Conpare that to the the atleast 170 mil they made at launch on Playstation, im not sure why its suddebly a success now. I think more people pirated it on pc then bought

I still say that as of today, there are too many people making too many games for too little an audience. The cost and time of these games further hurting chances, there needs to be some reductions in the space to balance. Theres the few games thst grestly inflate the overall spaces health like the fortnites, now rivals that are raking it in while on the flipside u have the concords, hellblades and such that go out and die

Re: Would You Pay $100 for GTA 6?

All we here about is the cost of consoles making consoles less and less appealing or possible for people to get into gaming. How would content breaking into the hundreds work industry wide by the same logic
