Well whatever it was an underwhelming sequel anyway. Astro bot was great but there future slate looking less and less appealing

I would go 8.5. Its missing the flair and style that Persona 5 had and personally think character designs no bad but again weaker than Persona 5 greatness.
Might play in spurts over time and maybe throw in a second game while playing it 15 hrs in

The Series X console is a fine console, S is underpowered. I just prefer Playstation.

Highly praise xbox for back compatibility which i frequently use. Sadly their news games are unappealing and or extremely underwhelming on release.

Ive had plenty of reward points saved up and really havent spent anything on software on xbox for years with my OG/360/one game in place. Sure there are many like me as well and the low spend of players on xbox definitely making it harder and harder for games to launch there

Just dont see how selling 30,000 copies over time is worth the squeeze on these things. They will port this to PC but wont spend the resources to port remaster the PS3 trilogies to modern hardware

Everything about the game looks good. Sadly for it, its JRPG month for me and wont be getting to it anytime soon. Itll be a 2025 game for me

Same exact games as games of old, very bland and not revolutionary like they were when ubisoft was big. They discount games so quick that people train to not buy right away as well. Add in the character and frankly Star wars is unappealing to many. We saw how expensive licensing can be with spiderman and wolverine leaks. This is gonna hurt them badly

Already 4 more notable games for February as of now. This game is still screwed.

Also, outside quality, gamers are trained more than ever to not buy day 1 as they are always discounted extremely quickly.

@FinneasGH i would assume it includes IP and Team Acquisition cost from probably monsters. Needless to say tho, huge waste of time and money as many 2nd party games could have been made with that

They are a super expensive team to run with where they are located and the people they have hired. Probably 25-30 million a year and based on last game could be 8 years out from anything new and no great anticipation on anything from them. Don’t see this one surviving and if they do its gonna be trimmed down and i would rebrand and name the studio

What the hell is this generation?
I’d take Days gone over Horizon but seriously putside Asobi and Insomniac are any of the studios making anything? Is next year just gonna be remasters and the flop that will be havens game

Is horizon being ported to switch? Its on PS4, its already on PC. What more reason could there be? Also they could just say remaster one of the stranded PS3 series if they want to give new employees a training project to work on.

@IOI it was outsold by an annualized Sports game that most casuals mindlessly buy every year. It was never going to outsell that which probably sold 5+million on PS alone

Just got the Platinum. Waiting to see if they add DLC. Great game but that final challenge run was frustrating

I dont think the Uk and Europe itself is the best indicator anymore. Seems like many have checked out on gaming as a whole there. Sales have been demonstrably down since the start of PS4 for those territories

There still has been nothing from this bungie purchase. All they have done is eat at the profit margins and cause that stir in the ecosystem. They could have 10 individual studios and good sized games in development for single player at bungies headcount
