Save your money on this one folks. Not even living to the expectation, just wasnt good or fun to play

The originals being remastered are perfect. Literally dont need to be touched. Yes we need alot of games ported forward but not everything needs a quote unquote remake or requires it.

If they make consoles the price of pcs then there would be no point of consoles. Consoles are simpler, more affordable and plug and play pieces of tech for more mass market

They really continue to flood the market with these things

Lol its even got PS controller support on steam but no ps5 version

What i expected. Nothing about this title seemed appealing whatsoever, despite what legacy media would say

Just got a pc this year, if they are going this route might as well just start moving purchases to pc and cancelling subscription as multiplayer falls further out of wheelhouse

Alot of excuses but can we finally just admit modern devs arent anywhere close to the ones 10-20 years ago. It seems like modern devs just can’t make anything new more at all.

Why hasnt Nixes gotten ports of their PS3 titles on PS4/5, and heck put them on PC then for damn proftis. Their existence is for porting yet nothing ever for the flagship product

One look at the character and knew playstation executives would hate it. Not concord enough for them in the art and design department

As soon as helldivers was announced it started the flooding for putting it on gamepass. Difference in porting to Pc/Ps5 is that people will buy the game not just be on a cheaper subscription they already have.

Square will burn resources on this, but wont port FF13 to switch and PS4/5. Is this really what they believe gamers want?

Microsoft seeing sales must have shocked them already. Todd must have said you know people on PS like physical as well

@SeaDaVie well i mean naughty dog has like 1000+ people working there. This studio was formed as a small team of like 40-50 people or something so they would burn less cash over time to make a game.

I really want to get to all ports and remasters for treasure Trove that was the PS2 Era of JRPGs

I still gotta try the old ones i bought on sale. With the delayed release i would be waiting for a deep sale on this one anyway.

Not super hot on this one, lots of other stuff will be out and im finally starting to look at my backlog and just say maybe tackle some of them first stupid. Might just wait for a sale on this one.

Bigger games might have plans for remasters hut can they get some better and more interesting retro titles. Alot of these are just bad games that people dont want. Ask Square for something like the Bouncer. No way they are gonna use that again

Loving rematch with the friend group. Only frustration is a bunch of the trophies are bugged blocking the platinum.

Assuming this is how they will look at live service games. Just put on everything possible? But not on gamepass and late. Will this sell like 40,000 copies or something

Wasnt one of them from a 2nd party publishing deal with xbox or am i mistaking with another. Seems like xbox is cutting alot of those publishing deals with the restructure

Weren’t people touting how much money candy crush and mobile was printing for Microsoft?
Not just gamepass effect, but xbox’s games have been mediocre at best and generally agenda driven. Like more and more of western games, its not a shocker less people are buying them. For xbox more people care about their 360 and OG games being ported than their new and upcoming lineup

I’d love if this meant playstation was leaning more towards games and products from japan and eastern devs. Thats where most of the desired games are coming from

Again with players with how many played via subscription. On pc the peak 24 hour is under 200. No one is playing this

@SeaDaVie machine games have made well selling games in the past. Compulsion and ninja theory both make games that maybe top a million over time. And their games now taking 7-8 years and cost going up, while cutting on gamepass for 6/10 games make them a prime candidate

@Reeneman it certainly didn’t help with expectations with xbox and their social parrots claiming this was the best thing since sliced bread. They were calling it the last of us for xbox and the studio was their naughty dog

Fell off the first gameplay. They do well from a graphic standpoint but if the game is an absolute bore and chore, it doesn’t really mean much. Most reviews have said it got much worse on the gameplay department with most of the 5 hours being cutscenes or just walking straight

@ThomasHL goalies rotate for each goal scored. But if the goalie leaves the box, they tear off gloves and anyone can run in to take the role

@OldGamer999 i think thats more Nintendo just trying to force people to digital ecosystem then them being generous. They already made their games $80 when their budgets and profits dont demand it

I’ll likely pass on this game. Maybe MR CEO can help “make it happen” for their gamers

@GASEOUS yeah but square likely got more significantly more money from the exclusivity deal than they made on xbox and px combined.

The media will still spin the idea that $1 revenue minus platform split is somehow greater than >$210 million in revenue in a week on playstation.

Did exclusivity hurt the game on xbox. Maybe to a degree, but you would expect it to atleast sell hundreds of thousands for something “so sought after on xbox”.
Even at $50 and includes DLC, the base also will wait for it to go to gamepass

What else does embracer own. That seems to be one of the main pipeline games are gonna come from

They are not giving up. They still have Bungie burning billions of dollars in their stables and Haven who will likely not release a game

Wasted all the time on live service and have to restart. Gonna be alot of unneeded people for a bit. I’ll be interested to see what they come up with. With how they treated Days Gone and the people who won that battle, i don’t believe the game will be very appealing from a character and story standpoint

I’ll just wait for deep sales on games like any that go into gamepass day 1. Theres no reason to support them day 1 and at higher prices if they turn around and offer for a fraction elsewhere

Great more people can play it. Maybe now the hate and slander from media will stop. Already annoyed with the usual people demanding it be in gamepass when its only $50 including dlc.

@Oram77 yeah and in Japan they subsidized the price there by $100+ cheaper.

Ps5 launched during the pandemic with supply constraints and start of harder economic times. Also pretty sure the switch 2 has been ready and been stacking storage for quite a long time. With how much they had warehoused pretty easy to burst out

I’ve really been falling out of this type of game. I’ll still be interested but at a much lower price point
