Earlier this month, Sony revealed that Minecraft would be getting PlayStation VR support. The blocky survival sandbox will be fully playable in virtual reality using a DualShock 4 controller, letting you get a feel for how big the structures you make really are. The game has been playable in VR on PC for a while now, but PSVR is finally catching up. What's more, the update will be made available today, according to a tweet from PlayStation.

Minecraft PS4 players won't need to do anything — the PSVR update comes via a patch, and so is free of charge. You'll be able to dive into your pixelated paradise and appreciate it from a whole new perspective. Will you be digging out Minecraft for some PSVR excursions?
