We're at a bit of a loss when it comes to predicting what games will be a part of today's State of Play livestream now. Sony has more than 40 minutes of airtime to fill and PlayStation 5 title Kena: Bridge of Spirits just confirmed it won’t be part of the show. As for what will be outside of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, your guess is as good as ours.
When replying to a fan on Twitter, the official Ember Lab account said that it "will not be featured" but is looking forward to watching the event all the same. So, there we have it in the plain old English language. We won't be seeing Kena: Bridge of Spirits in just a couple of hours time. Push Square editor Sammy Barker put together a quick list of predictions for the upcoming State of Play livestream last night, so check that out if you want an idea of what to expect. Just ignore the fact that we included Kena: Bridge of Spirits, okay? Okay.

I thought the state of play wasn't going to include any PS5 stuff? I thought it was only PS4 and PSVR, someone correct me if I'm wrong?
@Grindagger some PS5 games will be a part of the show, just not big PS5 announcements and 1st party games.
@Grindagger Will have some updates on previously announced third party PS5 games.
Well they said PS4 games, so who other than @get2sammyb thought a PS5 game was going to be shown? 😜
Edit, apparently they did say some PS5 games too
@carlos82 "We’ll have a few PS5 game updates on third-party and indie titles you last saw in June’s PS5 showcase."
Too bad. But it's a launch title, right? So I reckon we'll be seeing more of it very soon anyway.
@LiamCroft Wonder if that means we'll see some Demon Souls gameplay? Could be interesting State Of Play if we get some solid gameplay showcases for PS5 material.
@Grindagger Doubt it. They suggested no exclusives.
I’m stumped with this State of Play. It must just be unknown stuff.
@thebakerswife I’d go nuts
A little surprised as it is a PS4 game as well as PS5. Says so on the Ember Labs site.
But i guess they want to only show the definitive version which is fair!
Kena is what's sold me on getting a PS5 at launch (if in stock!)
@LiamCroft I stand corrected
If crash is on show, i wouldnt be surprised to see an activision love in - with CoD cold war and Tony Hawks 1 & 2 gameplay. Resident evil seems a lock, and maybe bugsnax. Star wars vader on vr will definitely be shown, but then i am at a complete loss on what else might be coming to the platform
That makes it more interesting now, because we saw some gameplay bits of Kena.
So now I hope we see gameplay to a game that has not shown any gameplay so far.
Maybe Stray? Or was there another PS4 game besides Kena?
There are rumours that we'll see some more info about RE8, there are a few leaks online done by play-testers about the beginning of the game and some systems.
I'm thinking maybe Bugsnax or DEATHLOOP will be shown now. Aside from CoD, there has to be one of the PS5 launch games.
@Octane Knack VR should be the last PS4 exclusive since Knack was a PS4 launch title, gotta close those circles. 👌
Pity. I was hoping it'd be there since it's cross-gen.
@Grindagger this game will also be on PS4
So far this game looks well COOL
Aww too bad, I'm looking forward to this one. Would have been nice to see more about it.
Hey sony,please help advertise the fighting game genre,its super niche(excluding street fighter).Give us King of fighters 15.
My prediction is God of war 5 for ps4 will be announced. Sony Can milk the ps4's life with this one.
