Still playing FF7Remake. About 12 hours in and I believe I'm near the end of chapter 8. However I'm stuck on a side quest and too stubborn to give up. Game has been great so far, but chapter 8 has been really slow and dull for me.

Played the Marvel Avengers beta last night for a little while. Still don't know how I feel about it. I have both good and bad things to say, but it's too early. Also I'm stuck on the second level. Hoping to get "unstuck" in both games tonight when I have some time to play again haha

I'll definitely hold out for a slim version, unless guerilla really is working on a new socom. Then all bets are off and I'll purchase that game and console same day! Assuming they aren't sold out of course!

Definitely agree with God of war at number 1, but I have yet to play tlou2 and ghost of tsushima.... Saving them for when work slows down, guarantee God of war will be bumped down a bit!

FF7R. Thoroughly enjoying the hour to hour and a half I get to play a few nights a week. I'm about 8 hours in and I'm in chapter 6. I do worry that my characters levels aren't quite high enough. Can anyone let me know if I'm too low at this stage of the game? The trio of cloud, Barrett and tifa are just about to hit level 16. And without giving up too much of the story, I just finished shutting off those three very bright things....

Tried fall guys last night for about an hour. It was ummm interesting. I guess I don't see all the hooplah. I hate door dash! Also there seems to be a lot of network issues with it right now. The best I placed was in the final 12 haha. I found the game to be clunky and sluggish, maybe that's the point?? Who knows??

What's up everybody!?!? I'm back! Between work and life stuff, haven't had much time to play games or post here on pushsquare!

Back in April I started re3 remake and haven't been able to play until earlier this week. So I deleted the save file and started over. Really great game, but without rushing I finished it in 5 hrs and 15 minutes.... Awfully short for a $60 game! Oh well, fantastic game regardless, can't wait for the next remake and resident evil village!
Started final fantasy 7 remake. About 3 hours in and I'm liking it. Probably going to slow down with this game and not rush it. Gonna be hard though because next on my list is either tlou2 or G.o.Tsushima.....

Also can't wait to pick up a copy of skater XL on Tuesday! Is pushsquare doing a review???

After days gone I had to take a break from playing games because I was so blown away by it. Such a great game and seriously under rated. Nothing else could live up to it's expectations. About a month later and I started and completed death stranding. Great game as well, but.... Open world with zombies!! You can't beat that!!

I started re3 remake like two weeks ago and I'm still only like 2 hours in! So much work in the warm months!!! Thankfully in the colder months I have more time to play videogames. But I hate winter hahaha. In the meantime I'll enjoy the income, the weather, and the many nights I get to spend outside grilling!

The reference to baby shark needs to go!!! Understand, that as a parent, my children played that song on repeat for weeks! Needless to say, I have a very strong hatred for that song haha.

Otherwise, I enjoyed your review. For some reason, I want to pick this game up some day.

Still working my butt off but..... I did manage to find some time to pick up a few new games! I'm the type to only play one at a time though. Also I can only squeeze in about an hour a night after the kids go to bed. So a few days ago I started re3 remake! I had high hopes for this game but.... I can't help but to feel a little let down... It's quite a bit different from the original, and having the nemesis breathe down your neck the whole time is extremely annoying. I remember playing the original as a kid and part of what made it so special was the fact that nemesis would pop up randomly and scare the crap outta me. It's still a good game though and I'll definitely finish it. But hands down re2 remake was definitely better!

Re: Soapbox: PS5 Will Be Sold on the Strength of Its Sequels

NYJetsfan123

I will buy a PS5 regardless.... But, definitely the sequels will make it even more tempting to buy earlier. With that said, I do hope they start creating new games to pave the way for the future. If not, then bring back some of the ps1 and ps2 games and build off of that. Either way, still grabbing the PS5, just gonna wait for a significant price drop. Unless..... A new socom is a launch game, in which, money is no object haha
