After a long break from videogames, seriously, like almost a month, I've finally got back into playing. Of course it's Madden 20 though! A couple matches at night after the kiddos go to bed. I haven't had time to pick up a copy of resident evil yet, I'll probably pick that and ff7 remake at the same time. My work is still deemed essential during this pandemic so I don't have much time to play still.... Stay safe everybody!

Crazy stuff right now. I do blue collar work but I have a few friends in the white collar industry, and they are all forced to work from home for a few weeks. On the plus side, so many businesses are closed, which allows me to do weekend work, during the week, at any given time! Stay safe everybody!

Definitely right about the expectations being really high. I go into it thinking, "this is going to blow me out of the water right from the get go!". Most of my favorites have, in fact. I'll give it another go some day, and if I don't like it, well then so be it. Yeah, the funk kinda sucks in a way, but it has me doing other things that I enjoy or need to do as well. I know I'll be back. Still drooling about the thought of resident evil 3 remake!

That megapoll by the way. I've been peeking at it from time to time, and damn you've had your hands full. Nice job keeping everything organized thus far. I know I had a hand in the voting for what the topic would be, but I didn't realize what went into your guys 'megapoll' before I voted for the topic. It's really involved and there are so many options and votes to look through. I'm a pretty simple dude so I opted to not get involved with it. Should you guys have a more simple (well, simple to me I should say) poll in the future, I'm definitely in!

Thanks for taking the time to say that! I thought for sure I'd be chased out of here with my unpopular opinion. I will give it another go when I'm back in "gaming mode". I recall people saying something similar about bloodborne. Never had any interest in that game, but when it came free to plus, I recall an article saying, take your time, learn the combat, etc.

I'm sure my lack of interest in the game comes down to me at the moment and not the game. All I can think about now is tuning up my equipment, getting my trucks ready for spring, new clients etc. Working for yourself can drain on you sometimes!

Nothing. In a funk right now... Haven't really been in the mood to play any video games. Probably just stir crazy cause Winters are so long and cold up here. Eager to get outside, work, grill, etc. Sadly the warm weather is still a month or two away... Hoping this funk goes away before April when FF7 and RE3 come out.

I picked up a cheap copy of the witcher 3 the other day to try and get myself out of the funk, and after 3 hours I couldn't stand it... Haven't played anything since... I'm gonna give it another go when I'm out of this funk (4th time I've used that word now, makes we want to listen to George Clinton and p-funk haha). But at the moment, I don't quite understand all the praise for the witcher 3!

Always appreciate a classic rock reference! Really hope the 60s and 70s music I've been engraining into my kids Carry's on! (My wayward son)

Anybody on the fence about the demo, just download it!! It completely blew my expectations! And they were quite high. Push square a lil crazy with their hands on review. The game is amazing!!!!!

Absolutely NOTHING because I'm an idiot! Anyone in the construction, landscaping, mechanic, business (really anything that puts your eyes at risk) listen up! Was banging some nails at work the other day and was too lazy to run to my truck to grab my safety glasses. Well of course a piece of a rusty nail broke off, flew up and hit me in the eye. After days of pain I had to hit the emergency room. Corneal abrasion. Had to have the bits of nail removed from under my eyelid. Now it's a bit hard to see in one eye and I can't do much while waiting for it to heal. Getting better but even the TV or PS4 games are hard to focus on while it heals. Should only take a few days they say. But lesson learned! I should know better as I've been in the business a long time. So wear your glasses even if your just hanging a picture on the wall for the wife! You won't regret it!

Anyway, half blind I was browsing the ps store essential picks deals last night, not much in terms of deals IMO. Probably because I've played most of the games on that list.

Seriously, April can't come soon enough!

Thanks for the suggestions! I haven't played a tomb raider since back on PS1 and PS2! Way overdue to try another. Infamous and deus ex I've tried and they just didn't click! I played assassin's Creed unity about a year ago and gave up after halfway. It was sooooo slow and boring. But I'd really like to try another some day. Seems like everyone is playing them and thoroughly enjoying them. Definitely feels like I'm missing out on something. Control looks interesting. Also, why haven't I played the witcher 3 yet!?!? I never really got around to picking that up and it is often overlooked in my head and I don't know why as it is always talked about as one of the best PS4 games

It absolutely is wtf! It's really hard to put that experience into words. But now that it's over, I do kind of miss it! It's certainly not my favorite game ever, but I'm really happy I took the leap and played it. I can tell you I will never be playing another game where you play delivery boy though haha.

Xfl, eh, not for me. I've tried to get into college ball, arena ball, xfl, all of it, but I'm just all about NFL. But I have heard good things about the pace of the xfl this year and how people are loving the game speeds.

As far as something new to play, IDK! I've kinda been eyeing that new star wars game which is weird cause I hate star wars and Star trek with a passion. Just not for me. But the gameplay to that game looks really good! I'm open to suggestions though. Some of my favorite games are (in no particular order)
God of war PS4
Madden
Horizon zero Dawn
Spiderman PS4
The last of us
Rainbow six siege
Far cry series
Uncharted 4
Days gone
Resident evil
Battlefield 4
Rdr2
Anything crash bandicoot

There's just a few if you have any suggestions for me!

For the first time in a long time, I have nothing to play! I beat death stranding last night. For anyone that's on the fence about it, just get it. While I wouldn't give it a ten out of ten, it certainly deserves a play through. Kojima must have taken some serious LSD to come up with that storyline!! But really, it's worth it, if not just to see how the story unfolds. Halfway through the game I was questioning why the hell I was still playing it, but as others have said, once the story opens up, things really get going and before you know it the credits are rolling. Amazing.

I'll probably hit GameStop and find a game or two to keep me entertained until April rolls around, then I won't be able to keep up with the new releases and my job. Things really pick up for me in the spring, especially after a LONG, COLD winter.

Had a huge snow storm roll through here the past couple of days and dropped more than a foot of snow! Been plowing for 3 days! Got a few hours sleep here and there, so I'm going to be catching up on sleep and playing death stranding. Just about to start chapter 8. I think I'm getting a little burned out from this game, but I'm obligated to figure out how this wackiness ends!
