Re: June PlayStation Plus Games Announced

@Nakatomi_Uk

It sounds very similar to the u.s.

People down south have a very thick accent. It's all different based on location. I am from the East coast and have had people out west tell me I have a 'funny' accent. That's why I was curious where Sammy was located. There are some British accents I can kind of understand and others that I couldn't even begin to decipher!

I have a hard time with accents, and I gotta tell you, the British accent is one of the hardest to understand. Where abouts are you from in England?? I've heard that the UK has different accents depending on your location.

Nothing personal against you, I hope you understand that. It's just very foreign to me... Plus your a Giants fan, we share the same stadium! And if obj stays healthy and Barkley survives to his potential, y'all will give the NFC east a ride for their money!

Is Terrell Owens going to be on the cover of all Madden 19's or just the hall of fame edition??

Reason I ask is because I try every year to guess who will be on the cover of next year's Madden and I thought for sure it would've been Jay ajayi for '19.

I never would have ever guessed it to be t.o., although he does deserve it. He was an excellent player

Very good article. While I rarely play my vita anymore, I do occasionally boot it up for the 'handheld experience'.

I really feel like it would have thrived had it had more games support. Everytime I boot up the latest Madden I always wish I could play it on the vita. So much potential...

Re: Poll: Has PlayStation Plus Improved in 2018?

The only digital games I download are the free games that are offered every month, if I like them. I much prefer physical copies. So I guess I'm paying $60 a year to play online. Which really is affordable when you think about it. Essentially $5 a month. I'd say the cost is worth it.

Re: Guide: Far Cry 5 Beginner's Tips and Tricks: How to Liberate Hope County

NYJetsfan123

As far as the guides comments go. I have to say that when they are a game I am interested in (such as this one) I really enjoy having the guides to look through. However , when it's a game I'm not interested in, there does seem to be a lot of guides. It doesn't bother me one way or another, but perhaps there could be a way to make a "master guide" for whatever game, that contains links to various different guides within whatever game is featured. Again, doesn't really bother me at all. Just my 2 cents

Re: Review: Burnout Paradise Remastered (PS4)

NYJetsfan123

Haven't played a burnout since the PS2 days. What is the difference between online and offline modes? Looking for something to play to keep me occupied until far cry comes out.

Edit: that was a vague question. Obviously I know the difference between online and offline. My question is, is it the same game online vs offline, the only difference being that you have to accomplish the same tasks only with other players?

Re: Soapbox: Don't Dismiss Bloodborne Because of Its Difficulty

NYJetsfan123

I played for an hour and a half last night then deleted it. After I realized you were meant to die after the first enemy, I went and chose my weapons. Still havent figured out how to use either of my weapons. So I tried to run around and evade him and smack him with my hands. Failed miserably at that. About 30 times.

Although it was difficult and I couldn't figure anything out, that really isn't the type of game I'm interested in. I didn't think it would be, but I had to try it out cause it was free and there was so much hype about it.

But could someone please tell me, after you choose your weapons from the weird people in the ground, how do you use them in battle on that first wolf/dog like enemy. I tried everything

Re: Review: Moss (PS4)

NYJetsfan123

I was afraid this was going to happen. I was hoping we'd still pay full price and have a longer playing title or they would charge less than $30, which would make a 4 hour story reasonable.

I'm still going to pick this game up for sure, I will probably wait for a sale though. And not because of the score of the review, just because $30 seems steep for such a short game.

Out of curiosity, would the game have scored higher if it were say, an 8 hour playthrough??

Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)

NYJetsfan123

If everyone thought the same way, the world would be a really boring place....

While I wouldn't give it an 8 myself, I'm glad there is an audience that is enjoying this game. I for one, thought the title would 'bomb'.

Re: Hands On: PSVR Platformer Moss Impresses in Opening 30 Minutes

NYJetsfan123

@Radbot42

Don't quote me on this, but with this being a $30 VR game, which tend not to be 'beefy' as far as single player content is concerned, it would probably be relatively easy and repetitive without the VR. A big part of this game is using the controller and moving it in a certain motion to pull out obstacles or solve puzzles.

Perhaps they could have designed it in such a way where you could play it without the VR, but would still require a PlayStation camera.

Just my thoughts...

@Tasuki

Maybe that's the case of casual sports fans. But not the serious fans.

I have always personally hated new England and I have been watching football for 30 some odd years. Not only are they in my division making them a rival, but I am sick of watching them play in the Superbowl for what feels like every Superbowl in the last 18 years.

I will be rooting for Philly in this Superbowl, but that no means makes me a Philly fan. I still love and support my team (even if they do suck haha). But you would never catch me picking up a piece of memorabilia from another team, even if I do cheer them on the biggest football day of the year.

I have friends that are fans of other teams, ie. Washington and Pittsburgh, and they as well will be "supporting" or "cheering on" the eagles tomorrow, purely because they are similarly fed up with seeing the Patriots every year.

But we are certainly not 'fair weather' fans.
