@Jeevz I think the real value of EA play comes in if you have an Xbox. You get access to the 360/PS3 gen games and it's free with Game pass ultimate. That said if you've got your eye on a particular game on the service it's fine value too. As you say, $5 to play Fallen Order is more than fair. Definitely cheaper than it would have been back in the day to rent it from the video store until you finished the campaign.

I don't think I'd pay for it separately long term though.

Nice. Played through a season of the quarter back mode on 20 via game pass so I'll probably give it a miss. Will give NHL 21 a go in April though.

Currently playing the SW Jedi game on XBSX and really enjoying it. Much more than I thought I would tbh. Will definitely give Squadrons a look.

@sonicmeerkat If you haven't played Demons Tilt I recommend giving it a look. I played it on gamepass and then bought it on PS5 on sale because they took it off game pass. It's a video game pinball deal along the lines of Devils/Alien Crush.

Not really sure tbh. No idea what's coming out on current gen for them to add. Tbh ever since I've gotten a XBSX with game pass I've been a lot less concerned with PS+ (PS5 is still my main girl, don't worry!). Hopefully it's something good though. A decent meaty indy or something. Would prefer if it wasn't another MP or party game.

Edit: seeing a lot of Disco Elysium comments. That sounds cool. Probably not one I'd buy for full price but would definitely give it a try on PS+.

Keep meaning to get back into this. Sounds like a good time to do so.

Good for them. More publishers on this level is great for the industry.

I personally feel Team17 overprices their games by a lot. For bigger indy games like Yookalaylee it's warranted but I've passed on a bunch of games they've published until sales because of their pricing.

Might have to pick it up next time it's on sale on PSN. I know the other games in the series go on really deep sale. Hopefully this one will too and I can play it when the update drops.

Curse of the Moon was one of my favourite games in a long time. One of the best Metroidvanias ever imo. Probably the best modern take on the genre for my money. Although that might be a bit unfair with just how closely it stuck to the SotN formula.

This sounds right up my alley. Love card games. Love tycoon games. Love the old timey aesthetic and them. Looks like a day one buy.

Destruction All Stars defaults to European servers for Australia. They're awful. Crashes in AI matches look like something from burnout, online it's just a laggy mess.

Great looking game. Tight controls. Some pretty characters. Not sure if the games got legs. It didn't really grab me. No desire to play another match because of how laggy it is anyway.

You had at Bullfrog management game and lost me almost immediately with RTS...

By their marketing jargon, maybe? By my own expectations of what it should mean? Not even close considering we're already coming up on 3 months since release and they haven't even given a solid date.

I could stretch "launch window" to 3 months but it's obviously not launching in Feb...

I'm not that interested in the titles myself but I'm not unhappy about it. They're not bad, just not my taste. The car one could end up being interesting too, I've not been convinced on it since it was announced though.

This. It's so boring how all car games have you driving crazy dream cars so quickly these days. Also really over games that tailor the majority of races to whatever car you're driving rather having very strict entry restrictions with a limited ammount of models to choose from.

The old GT model added a great sense of progression that is missing from a lot of racing games.

Will be waiting for reviews on this one. Love Sid Meiers Pirates! on the OG Xbox. Hopefully it's got some of the spirit of that game in it.

@ISD1982 Totally agree mate. I got the XSX and PS5 and although you're right, the Xbox UI is all over the place it's main functions are easily accessible. The PS5 basic function are painful. It shouldn't take half a dozen presses to turn the system off (if you remember where it is). Imo the PS4 pop up menu was perfect. The UI as a whole wasn't but that particular idea worked.

Never. They need to give an option to swap what long and short press of the PS button does. The screen that comes up now on short press is only ever seen because of PS4 UI muscle memory.

What? It's not true that they plan on making the game much better? Why would you possibly say that...

I'm not sure if I should just refund the game and wait for the native PS5 version. I like what I've played in the 12 hours or so I've put in but I haven't played in a couple of days because I can't be bothered to deal with the crashes that seem to come every hour or so, not to mention all the other jank.

Shame because I think there's a pretty decent game under there (not ground breaking, but good).

That would have been nice in the 80 hours I spent on the game...

As long as they don't change the XP gain rates to make it harder to level I don't really have a problem with it. By the time I got to the end of the main game I was around the level 250 mark and levels were still coming really quick.

I don't like it on principal because... MTX. Dropping it a month after when reviews are already out is sus too. It's one thing to change the game up so much it has a new business model like Rocket League going f2p but changing it month in? They new it was coming from day one. They should detail their plans so consumers can make an informed decision day one.

So does this fix the bug that doesn't let you finish off The Order? Played for 80+ hours and couldn't get the true ending because of it.

Oh well. They had a great run over the decades. RIP Codemasters.

Good. It looked awful. Hopefully they get it right so we can get a new game in the series.

Looks like a great deep sale or PS+/Games with gold pick up.

@SwitchVogel That's awesome. Much better than paying the new release premium to play new games and having to return them a couple nights later at the video shop.

I bought BL3 a couple of days ago for the sale price. Was going to pull the trigger on the DLC's but figured I'd just play vanilla first and buy the dlc on sale. Glad I waited, I would have been filthy if I paid full price for it.

The fish monger kid has such annoying VO too...

I think in this case they're just expressing how anyone that deals with the public starts to view just about everyone they encounter for work. There's many different versions of customer/client but they all fit under the broad category of "a holes".

I might be offended if they weren't 100% right. I'm too stupid to apply skins and screen protectors.

Have they said if they're making the game more user friendly of just updating the graphics? One of the big things I remember about the game was how unintuitive some of the systems were.

So I understand logistically they want to spread shipments out but why can't they just deliver them to the stores and release on the same day as the console? I know if I lived in the UK I couldn't be bothered to pick up my extra controller for a console I don't own. I'd just leave it till release.

Man, it's good for financial stability for those guys but working as a GTA online content developer sounds depressing.

I would love a "time played" tracker. It would be depressing given how many games I buy and barely play but it's a nice feature on Switch and Steam.
