The announcement of Salt and Sacrifice might have fallen under the radar during the commotion of E3 2021, but now that the dust has settled, it's time to dive into what makes the sequel to Salt and Sanctuary tick. For those who missed it, the follow-up will launch on PlayStation 5 and PS4 in Q1 2022 for $19.99. And to get everyone better acquainted with what to expect, Ska Studios has released nearly 10 minutes of gameplay.

Footage details the Paladin class on its way to hunt a Pyromancer. Local and online co-op returns in the sequel, even allowing you to join multiplayer factions such as the Dawnlight Order and Shroud Alliance. James Silva, found of Ska Studios, said: "Seeing the multiplayer aspects of Salt and Sacrifice come to life has been really cool. There are so many interesting things we can do with our different factions’ goals within this perilous Mage-wracked world." The game still looks to retain that tough but fair nature, though, coupled with 2D action and boss fights galore.
