Oh, that's cool. Spider-Man is a great get obviously but I've also wanted to play Test Drive. I've heard it's a bit rubbish though so haven't been willing to put down money to play it.

Man, getting hit with some serious fomo here. Yakuza 3 was the first I played in the series so I'd like to have it (on a system I have plugged in). They really should have given a good discount on it at minimum before they put it out to pasture. All the other ones are 50% off atm. Why not just put it in the Feb sale and then kill it. Obviously they shouldn't take it off the store at all but we're not winning that battle.

Will probably give in. Annoying but what can you do. I presume all our current stuff will be playable on the next system so at least I won't be stuck with only having it on PS3.

It's a sad testament to the state of the industry that some palette swaps have to be singled out and confirmed to be free in an update.

Not hating. It's great they're not money grabbing on the most rudimentary changes. Good for them. Tbh it seems like the kind of game that can be easily monetised in ways that offer value to consumers. More characters and levels etc. That they're not selling colour swaps is a good sign that potential dlc may actually be substantial which is cool.

Just SNES and NES titles is a bit disappointing. Still, I'm a sucker for these collections.

Love the two cartoons but if I want to play the games I'll just boot up an emulator. Most licenced games were rubbish back then.

I had it in my head Red Dead was coming to PS plus. I thought it was already on PS5. Is it a free upgrade if you have the PS4 version? That's on sale atm, might have to grab it.

It's Nacon. Trash is their speciality so I'm not really surprised it's rubbish.

Had Pacific Drive on my wish list so that's cool. Thank Goodness you're here looks like a perfect plus game too.

@TheFakulty That's exactly what I was thinking. As someone that doesn't care for BR I'm not a fan of the move. Maybe 12 months after the BF6 launch or something but not this soon.

Awful decision. Just completely took away my enthusiasm for the game.

I played it and really didn't get the hype. Lots of people were singing it's praises though but it's a crowded market to break into. Why would anyone choose this game over any other? For a couple of weekends while the game is hot, sure, but what's there to keep them coming back? They were naive if they thought they wouldn't have to do something special to maintain people's interest over established titles and the next new game.

Do they own the Driver IP or did Infogrames just publish it back in the day? That's a series that needs a reboot.

If people can get away with making "adult documentaries" based on some of the biggest ip's out there I highly doubt this dude is going to get much love.

Not a big Persona guy but really liked the look of this one. Liked the look of most of the Personas too until I play them and realise it's just not my thing though so we'll see how it goes. Maybe a different theme is what I need to get me into their stuff.

R*'s lawyers would no doubt sign off on stuff like this these days given how many people that have tried to sue them.

Souls like metroidvania has to be the most crowded indy genre on the market at this point.

I've played bits of a couple these games but never beat one. Really like a lot about them but they are pretty overwhelming in the amount of stuff going on.

I mean, it's WiFi only isn't it? I'd probably be sitting next to my ps5 while playing it anyway and be able to plug it in (if I bought one when they're inevitably in the clearance bin).

@PlayStationGamer3919 If it was actually a proper streaming device where you could stream any content you own or have access to it might have a market. No idea why on earth I'd ever need a device that only streams my personal ps5.

Kind of wish they'd move on and make a second game. It's admirable all the work they've done but I feel at this point the limitations that make up the bones of NMS are holding them back. I've put in a bunch of hours at different points and ultimately I start to feel that it's all just a bit pointless and shallow in the end. They can add a million mechanics (I think they might have at this point) but the core of the game is always going to limit their ambitions.

I've started playing Binding of Isaac again recently. It's still the best one of these ever made by a large margin imo.

Holding a license to ransom unless people buy a port collection doesn't exactly fill me with confidence for what they do have planned tbh.

Playing it on Gamepass. I feel like it's probably a great game but unfortunately it does an awful job of explaining everything.

Idk why people are so excited for this. The rules as described in the book are too flawed to make for a good game. Imagine playing Fifa and losing all of a sudden when you were leading by 5 - 0 because the opponent did some weird side thing that's barely related to the rest of the game but worth more points than you're likely to score in normal time.

The rules were invented to create exciting moments for a hero protagonist to succeed against the odds, not to establish an engaging competitive game.
