@Stocksy hmmmm I disagree. If a basic office job (as I'm in) is advertised with a certain salary, that is paid regardless of gender. There would be law suits left right and centre if that wasn't the case.

Detracting from the story now though as I'm sure this is one of those open ended salaried jobs which are open to abuse

@fR_eeBritney agree totally, and I am surprised that Sony appear to be making a lot more physical PS5's than digital ones - had they made twice as many digital versions people have been that desperate to get hold of the console they'd have bought it even if it wasn't their preferred option - thus locking even more people in to the digital store.

Perhaps Sony are testing the water this generation before doing just that

@nessisonett I've ordered ratchet (and deathloop) from tesco today so will wait and see if it comes tomorrow. Probably get substituted for 25 bottles of tomato ketchup

People comparing this to cyberpunk, I read an article and a quote stood out: CDPR aimed at the moon and missed. Rockstar aimed at the floor and still missed

@Atreus97 I was just going to quote this exact line and say how can a game possibly be a game of the year contender with that not being the case?!

That said I'm definitely picking this up now it's dropped to a good price and looks like the wait has yet again been rewarded by buying a cheaper and more polished game.

For people like myself upgrading from an OG PS4, I think it's been brilliant.
Would like to see more exclusive games like ratchet and returnal rather than cross-gen, but that doesn't look like changing any time soon.

My hope was that by subcontracting these remasters out to Grove Street Games, it meant actual rockstar are fully working on gta6.

In reality though, assuming they have many employees still there, they spend their time on gta5/online.

A year on from its release, and I'm still having to buy ps4 physical copies of games for my PS5...

I watched the first 12 mins of that video and gave up.

The suspend cycle update has been very welcome and I have progressed further into the game in the last few days as a result.

But I won't be exploiting this, and don't think pushsquare should really be highlighting it as its clearly not intended or in the spirit of the game

Hats off to ubisoft for allowing a proper 4hr demo (hint hint playstation - not from the point of download).
I enjoyed it enough to consider at a discounted price, but I'm not down with the kids enough for it to be a must buy.

I had massive issues in the demo of getting the inverted Y axis to work properly, it was a mess.

Shouldn't gta5 be listed as a ps3 game?
I had to Google just to confirm yet again its been that long.....

Enjoyed my playthrough on ps5 but not touching it again until the native version.

Does make me wonder how much of this will actually be free - where's the next revenue stream coming from?

I sold my og ps4 for £100 for a quick sale the moment I got a ps5. As voltan says, the second hand sales for ps4s have probably rocketed.

That said, this was pure indie apart from square enix's 12 frames per second game

The showing of it tonight (what was the frame rate?) has meant I can save myself a click adding it to the library

@fR_eeBritney I was just replying to the same point. I was so 'proud' of myself to have bagged a ps5 almost a year ago now, and aside from returnal I'm yet to play anything I couldn't have done before (still to buy ratchet and deathloop). Is 2023's spiderman 2 the next ps5 exclusive?!

@KilloWertz you definitely won't be disappointed getting this game. There's a massive thread on the forum to have a read through of people loving the game and enjoying each others triumphs.
I was so hesitant paying full price for this as its not a genre I'd go for but the videos on YouTube don't do it justice and I've never played a game that I felt so in control of - really responsive, great sound, dualsense, and every mistake is your own doing.
It's by no means easy and I'm far from finishing it myself but I don't regret my purchase at all. Buy physical if you're worried and at least you can trade it in if its not for you.
It's definitely one of the first games for ps5 that could only run like this on ps5.
The new feature isn't a traditional save point where you can keep playing from where you left off indefinitely, but if you wanted to play other games or not leave your ps5 in rest mode this really makes a difference.

@KidBoruto yeah, makes no sense. I have read (not sure how true it is) that if you buy the physical ps4 version it allows you to upgrade to the ps5 one. That was on reddit though...
