The devs really have been busy. Will be interested in a new review, not expecting anything near an 8 or above, but must be higher than a 3 it previously scored.

One extreme to the other in terms of their marketing and announcing the game early. Looking forward to it

Seems crazy to (re)release it in Q1, but looking forward to another playthrough with hopefully increased population density and improved visuals. Anything else improved will be a bonus

Mopping up trophies on ratchet and clank, then back to dying light 2

A 7 so far for me. I thought the prologue was really good, now I'm in the kind of lull where I don't have any decent perks or equipment and it's a little bit repetitive. Hoping it picks up again.

90 odd gb, when dying light is around 25gb. That's quite a difference

I love base.com and their prices, but my last Pre-order (dying light 2) failed to be dispatched on time for release and was then showing out of stock, so I don't think they limited the orders to their stock unless there was a supply issue. Just a word of warning for anyone desperate to play on release day.

Not sure if anyone can explain further - the review on this site made it sound (to me at least) that enemies will attack you either 'high or low', but there was no 'tell' as to which it would be, leading me to think it was more about pot luck which sounds frustrating.
Yet another article today is on about speed runs and people attempting to finish the game without aging. If that's possible, how, if there is no tell? Is there a set attack cycle you must learn?

Are you sure this is 10 million cash sales, and not a good proportion being game pass/PS Now downloads counted as 'sales'?

So that's one of the ten live services down and doomed to fail, nine more to go. Bungie are going to busy.

I would potentially have a look at Factions, realise I've fallen way behind all other players, can't commit enough time to it, get verbally abused by some teen, then give up.

What exactly are people cheating at - having a fast time posted on a leaderboard? Having access to cars they didn't rightfully acquire? Big deal - if they want to pay £70 for a game and do that 🤷‍♂️
Not affected personally but why should people with poor or no internet connection suffer?

Next Sony released dvd will stop people fast forwarding to the end to stop them spoiling it?

And people were moaning a couple of days ago about there being a 30 min state of play for this game.

My thinking is 15 years on from the original I'd imagine bullets and firearms would be hard to come by.

@LiamCroft did you have the day 1 patch? Any comments on dualsense or was it pretty standard stuff?

Hoping the sluggish menu and glitches can be sorted. I still have the opportunity to cancel my order but there's enough in the review to suggest I'll enjoy it a lot.

All the more frustrating for people that genuinely want one - there are currently 8 boxed ps5's for sale at Cex within a 10 mile radius of my house. They must be sitting on so much stock and at £650 will continue to do so.

At this rate I'm going to dig out my raspberry pi and learn how to code. Got to be worth a couple of billion.

Used to love Theme Park back in the day. Adding extra salt to the fries and sticking a drinks stand next to it, genius.

There has to be some sort of dragons den you give us a percentage of all sales going forward arrangement otherwise what's the point.

The near future sounds like a streaming subscription based always online live service multiplayer with a choice of playing star wars or marvel games whilst hooked up to a psvr2 and everytime you blink you agree to pay for a microtransaction.

I don't get any of this acquisition stuff - paying billions for what is ultimately a brand name and an office building (and in some cases an IP). The talent that makes these games are free to move around at will, as seen by every studio always going on a recruitment drive when making a new game.

I heard that if you open the email and send funds, hideo kojima sends a video guaranteeing to double your investment by the end of the year.

It'll end up getting swamped by other releases now, but definitely looking forward to seeing the improvements

February and March's releases will see me through most of the year, anything else will be a bonus

Not usually a trophy hunter at all, but I really want this platinum as its a great game.

2 trophies left to get on deathloop (including an annoying buggy one) which I hope to get before dying light 2 takes over.

Seems to run OK indeed. Must be a nightmare for devs releasing on so many different platforms on day one.

Sick of reading about game pass, but my two penneth worth, maybe a 'PS game pass' featuring only games that are not cross party, and you have to subscribe to both PS plus and this to access them. Sony doesn't lose revenue, MS makes more.
