Can you redeem the £50 store credit (as in the article) towards ps plus? So if retailers like shopto just stop selling PS plus codes but sell store credit at a slightly discounted rate, nothing changes does it?

Amazes me the amount of people who expected/demanded trophies to be added to old games. Like who exactly is going to be doing all this work?

After completing dying light 2 I went back to 1 now they've added 60fps. Finding it so difficult - don't remember it being this hard before. Struggling to find any decent weapons, weapons break really quickly, and the zombies require a good 10-20 hits before 'dying'.
This is a great move by the devs though, will definitely check out the DLC.

Anyone else here used to play operation wolf on the master system with the light gun?

One of the side quests tells you what happened to all the guns and ammo in the city. That, and the fact its set 20 years after the original explain their absence.
One of the devs actually hinted at the stash being discovered one day - DLC maybe?

@FinneasGH for me, it was pushing gta online at me in the store. From that, if you click the 3 little dots icon, you can then select gta 5 ps5 version for £8.75

In the UK you can get £9 at Cex for selling gta4, so will get this for 'free' even if it never ends up being played.

How are people getting on with using the dualsense and not a wheel? Is it still good?

I don't know if there will ever be a game drought in the future where I'd consider firing up gta5 again. But if I don't fork out £10 for it now, will be kicking myself when it's full price. Damn you rockstar.

Clicked on metacritic and the first 10/10 review I see is from The Daily Star. Says it all.

The lack of Nike football boots in the game is literally the only thing that's prevented me from buying FIFA these past 20 years....

@meteors77 there's a few options on that mission. I think the 'best' outcome is to not use the credchip, hack it and gain 10k yourself. Depending on your other choices you can/cannot get a romantic encounter later in the game. Did you save Brick who was locked up too?

@ApostateMage loving this playthrough as female V. Any tips on dealing with cyberpsychos without killing them? I remember originally they wasn't even marked on the map, now they are. Did one but killed her...

Thanks for reviewing it again. I really enjoyed my time playing it during Christmas 2020 (admittedly on ps5) so was pretty gutted at the 3/10 score as I thought that was overly harsh. Great to see it gain some redemption and the devs get some credit - must have been awful for them being released 'early'.

I think a 7 or 8 is about right, lots still to do to improve it but at least it now functions and is a good base for DLC.

I'm playing this alongside dying light 2, and whilst I love them both for what they are, the characters in cyberpunk are so much more interesting and memorable.

Still need to finish the first game, don't know what it is with this franchise but I've restarted about 4 times then something else grabs me.

It'll be a bargain by the time I pick it up.

@dre8472 cyberpunk, dying light, deathloop, ratchet & clank - all games I've tried on ps5 at 30fps and I've had to switch to 60fps.

I don't know if it's just me now being used to 60fps, or something with the way the ps5 is handling it, but I never remember titles on ps4 being this 'bad' and nauseating at 30fps, last of us 2 and witcher 3 play horribly to me on ps5 at 30fps.

@PenguinL with the free trial you surely have nothing to lose trying it out?
I've had no crashes yet personally, which cannot be said for deathloop and ratchet & clank - games made specifically for ps5.

Playing again after one rushed backwards compat playthrough at release. It'll never be a 10/10 game but it's very enjoyable.

Still downloading, it's taking an age so will check it out tomorrow. Sounds positive though and I already enjoyed one backwards compat playthrough so this will be great.
Hopefully this is the base game now for them to release some proper updates and DLC in the months to come.

I still don't understand, given the packaging, 1-2 discs, manufacturing and freight costs involved, why on earth digital games cost the same (most cases more) than physical.

I prefer the quicker playstation studios one seen on the games.
