@nofriendo if you add any of the three essential games mentioned in the article to your library, they are yours to keep/download/play at any point providing you remain subscribed to PS+.
The games you mention were part of PS+ extra and you do not own them. Think of that like Netflix etc - games come and go from the service.
@bighal your privacy settings on PSN won't allow me to add you to the gt7 group or send a message. I think if you change the setting below to 'friends' it'll be OK then. 'Who can interact with you through parties, games, and messages'
We can then add you to our group. We usually race all sorts of tracks and categories Sundays 8pm-11.30ish so just drop in whenever. With your setup you'll no doubt be way better than most of us.
On the game if you then head to multiplayer and search for rooms with just friends you'll join the lobby.
If you open the roulette ticket and pin your hopes on a new car or a million credits, then it's no wonder you're disappointed. See it as a daily 'reward' of 5k or a camshaft for a car you don't own and anything above that is a bonus.
Doesn't come as a surprise sadly. What does take the p*** is this is the first opportunity for PC gamers to buy it, whereas some of those loyal to PS have bought it 3 times and still pay more
It's not clear from the review if you can then sell your drink for £8.50 a pint to people who 'understand' beer? Whack another quid on as I'm sure it's vegan too.
I can't believe it's 20+ years since it first came out, wow. Strange how the mind and memories work - watching that didn't look any different to how I remember it did all those years ago. Shame they don't do the first game whilst they are at it
@SpaceDonkey feel free to join in the weekly time trial that Render does on the forum. And a small group of Push Square visitors race online Sunday nights - that alone has kept me playing the game almost daily, tuning and the like
I've been lucky enough to borrow a copy of the last of us from a friend who paid full price. Its an understatement to say I'd be disappointed if I'd have spent £70 on it. For me, experiencing the story, voice acting etc for the first time on ps3 was amazing. This brings nothing new apart from a lick of paint, even to the point where Ellie still runs out from cover into the path of enemies only to remain unseen. To say this is the 'definitive' version and was held back by previous technology kind of makes a mockery of every game currently being released that is cross gen.
Well it's summer here, people are outside and on holiday and there are no lockdowns. As for software sales, I might be tempted to buy 2 good games in quick succession at £50, definitely 1 max at £70
I've cancelled Plus as everytime I got an email notification I was getting excited - I'm expecting an email from Nigeria regarding a rich dead relative I never knew
Extra for me. Plenty of games on there that interest me that I wouldn't necessarily have bought, seems like great value. Disappointed that spiderman is just the PS4 version (I'm probably the only person that hasn't played it)

Re: Game of the Year: #2 - Elden Ring
@TheArt which makes gt7 (9/10) not even making the top ten even more baffling
Re: Game of the Year: #3 - Horizon Forbidden West
It must have been an outstanding year for gaming on ps5, for gran turismo (which doesn't come around very often) to not even make the top ten....
Re: Opinion: Why 2023 Will Be PS5's Biggest and Best Year Yet
Hardly need a crystal ball or degree in journalism to predict 2023 will be a better year for ps5 than those preceeding it
Re: Game of the Year: #9 - The Last of Us: Part I
If a movie from 2013 was re-released on blu-ray this year, would it stand to win film of the year?

Re: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition (PS5) - The Perfect Excuse to Replay a Masterpiece
An excellent early Christmas present, great timing. Shame the combat is still a bit janky but the story, world and music more than make up for that.

Re: Deal: Stock Up on PS5 Accessories While They're Discounted This Black Friday
Damn, those are decent prices. Was already forced to buy a new dualsense full price earlier in the year
Re: The Witcher 3 PS5 Has Full DualSense Support, Graphics Options, New Camera, Controls, Photo Mode, Much More
Considering you can pick up the game for peanuts, a free upgrade is very generous and welcome
Re: 20 More PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Available Now on PS5, PS4
@frabbit edith finch is available now to download (ps5 version). I had to find it via the ps store though, it's not showing in the game catalogue
Re: Hardware Review: Thrustmaster T128 - The Perfect Wheel for Beginners
Coincidentally, there was a guy at the local dogging club nicknamed 'oh thrust, master'. Very obliging chap.
Re: 20 More PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Available Now on PS5, PS4
@frabbit having the same issue. I've got extra and have the option to purchase for £4.79 or upgrade to premium.

Nice. My sub runs out in December so I shall definitely be taking advantage of this

@get2sammyb I catch it from the south so you obviously live on the posh side. Love the Erdington dig!
Re: Fallout 4 PS5 Version Confirmed for 2023 Release, Includes Creation Club Content
I'm still hardlocked out of a quest path on ps4, so it's pleasing to know there's a small possibility this game breaking bug may be looked at in 2023

To be interesting, the sequel would need to be so far removed from the original it would be better spent on a new IP.

Found it quite underwhelming compared to the first game.
Hoping dead island 2 might be enjoyable but will definitely be waiting for reviews on that

The section in RE8 with the dolls is just going to be too much to handle in VR

I thought that was a very good and fair review given the circumstances of this release.
Re: Japanese Gamers Aren't Impressed with PS5's Price Hike
The headline was hardly going to read 'Japanese gamers impressed with price hike' was it.
Re: Dead Island 2 Back from the Dead on PS5, PS4 Next February
Looks more like what I was hoping for from dying light 2
Re: Arcade Paradise (PS5) - High Scores for This Genre Blending 90s Nostalgia Fest
This looks good and pleased to see it reviewed well. With all the games on and being added to Extra, the backlog has never been so huge

Re: Poll: What PS Stars Rewards Do You Want?
If its anything like my tesco clubcard, I look forward to earning £1 off a £70 game in a couple of years
Re: Poll: Is The Last of Us: Part 1 Really a 'Cash Grab'?
If there was some sort of cheaper upgrade path for those who bought the original(s) that would be fair enough. As it stands it's an absurd price.
Great for PC players (will they be charged £70?) and for the small number of ps5 owners who have never played it.
