@itsfoz just watched that side quest footage. Pre-order going in now. It's pleasing that the game is getting 'out there' - shows they are confident - compare that to the ridiculous cyberpunk embargos and late review copies.
Am I missing something in this article - it shows that COD was the highest selling PS game in December (wasn't much else out to buy the kiddies was there), but goes on to say it was the highest selling PS game all year but is not backed up by a chart, only one showing all games no matter the system?
I buy a playstation to play good games. So yes I'll continue to buy one. How many Activision games appear in your annual game of the year awards pushsquare?
I have zero interest in table tennis but would definitely get this, could see it being a good workout too. I wonder if the skills learnt in the game are transferable to playing in real life?
I'd happily pay a pound a month to ensure my save games are safe in the cloud then continue to buy the games I want to play at full price at retail. Don't need any streaming, subscription game pass clone thanks
Deacon and Sarah would have had a son in the sequel called John St John who trained as a medic and volunteered for St John ambulance, but middle management didn't like the pitch
Just started deathloop - guess I missed the early release and dumb AI as I'm dying quite a bit. Liking it so far, very stylish, looks nice, good haptics, but after reading up I'm not alone in the disc sounding awful when it's spinning in the ps5
Hmmm it was OK, the initial bugs didn't help (considering on release for PS it wasn't a new game, pretty bad really). The load times, whilst not shabby, are the longest I've experienced on ps5 and annoying when you are constantly going from one area to the next.
Love the music and art style, a lot of the humour is great, but still feels a little pretentious and highbrow for me. The whole measurehead race theory thing bored me.
Any news on damage? I read a while back there will be a reworked damage model. Can't claim any sense of realism if the cars just bounce unscathed from a 150mph bang
The amount of patches and changes to this game, and the fact you could (can?) buy it for £22 Black Friday - anyone like myself who is yet to get it are in for a treat now I imagine
@kingbreww the fact that Grove Street Games made them, and the fact they are made via unreal engine and not rockstars rage engine confirmed from the outset they were going to be reworked mobile ports.
Find it astounding that rockstar would bring this upon themselves, these games should be their cherished babies
I thought one of the incentives of PS plus was monthly 'free' games? If they do this, what's to stop Sony announcing March's ps5 game is gran turismo 7. (but it's not the full version of gt7, you get to drive round one track).
I'm not bothered by godfall as I wasn't adding it to the library anyway it looks rubbish, but it's the principle
I am not buying this before some reviews, but really pleased to read its gone gold. Hard to believe of all the games due in Feb and March, not one could have been squeezed out before Christmas - would have sold a bucket load
My first time purchasing this type of game (I blame clarksons farm). As a newbie it is pretty daunting and the tutorial is a bit rubbish. With no knowledge of agriculture or the machines I'm finding myself spending a lot of in game money buying or renting different machines to try and find one that does the job I need it to do. That said I am kind of enjoying it and will obviously get better the more I read online and learn.

Re: Rainbow Six: Extraction (PS5) – Limited Time Event Turned Middling Co-Op Shooter
This site does more to promote game pass than I imagine most xbox ones do. I'd never heard of it a year ago.
Re: PSVR2 Is Coming, But Here's a Reminder That PSVR Is Still Alive and Kicking
@NeonPizza unless there's been very recent news, there is no word on backwards compatibility and given the different tracking methods, it's unlikely.

Re: PSVR2 Is Coming, But Here's a Reminder That PSVR Is Still Alive and Kicking
@BadPlayerOne you're joking, right?
Re: These Are Dying Light 2's Graphical Options on PS5
I never understood the 'snobbery' about 60fps. Until I got a ps5.
Although brief, that video even on my phone looks so good
Re: All These Activision Blizzard Studios Will Likely Cease PlayStation Development
Wouldn't swap a single one of them for insomniac, naughty dog, sucker punch etc etc

Re: Reaction: Activision Blizzard Buyout Is Devastating for PS5, PS4
Come on pushsquare, that's 4 or 5 doom and gloom it's all over for PlayStation articles in a row. Shall I put my PS5 on ebay right now?
Re: PlayStation Reiterates God of War Ragnarok 2022 Release Date
@nessisonett @ShogunRok if it's summer somewhere, surely it means it's winter somewhere else.
Re: Dying Light 2 Dev Promises a Whopping 5 Years of Updates and DLC After Release
It's a shame the ps5 dying light 1 patch hasn't arrived, they've kind of missed the boat now so close to the sequel's release.

Re: DAYYYTONA! Watch Gran Turismo 7 PS5 Gameplay of the International Speedway
@Quintumply ha ha. Hoping for some detail on the dualsense/haptics for us peasants who don't have a wheel set up.
Re: DAYYYTONA! Watch Gran Turismo 7 PS5 Gameplay of the International Speedway
@Quintumply will pushsquare be reviewing this using a wheel or dualsense or both?

I didn't understand a word of that article
Re: PS Store Best-Selling Games of 2021 Revealed, Sports Games on Top
Just checked online and if I purchased every copy of GTA5 for ps4 from my 3 closest CEX (UK) stores, I'd come home with 71 copies.
Edit: just realised this is a digital sales article 🤦♂️
Re: PS5 Hardware Has Second Biggest Month in UK on Back of 28% Bounce
Is this how xbox console sales are reported, X & S lumped together and classed as one console?
Re: GDC Reveals Its GOTY 2021 Nominees, Voted for by Game Developers
Deathloop is 'great' for the £28 I paid for it. Definitely not a 10/10, I think pushsquare got their review just right

Going to be an expensive year
Re: Game of the Year: #2 - Returnal
Having played both returnal and RE8, returnal is my number 1 and by some margin.
Re: Game of the Year: Top 10 PS5, PS4 Soundtracks of 2021
Oh forgot another honourable mention to Returnal, the ascent to Hyperion - that's brilliant
Re: Game of the Year: Top 10 PS5, PS4 Soundtracks of 2021
Massive honourable to the ashtray maze in control. Not strictly 2021 but it is for PS5

@CWill97 if you've got a PS5 and PS plus, RE7 is 'free' - definitely play that before 8

Santa (the Mrs) is working this morning so waiting for a copy of deathloop this afternoon when she's back

Crazy to think this is still 8 months away.
I think it'll sell rather well, purely down to us all waiting for eternity for GTA6
Re: PS5, PS4 Users Are Still the Biggest W*nkers in Gaming
Disturbing on many levels.

Re: Rumour: New PlayStation Subscription Will Give Access to PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP Games
Yeah because instead of playing gt7 I've been longing to play ridge racer 1 on my PS5.....

Re: GTA Trilogy Patch 1.03 Fixes Another Boatload of Bugs, Adds 'Cloud Cover' on PS5, PS4
@Anke I was wondering the same whether rockstar are doing these updates themselves.
Not bought it myself (yet....). The sheer number of bug fixes just to stop that horrendous rain effect from happening indoors 😂

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 Version Aiming for Q1 2022 Release, Major Update Planned
I'm expecting visuals on par with PC, with ray tracing and higher npc counts.
Unless they've completely rewritten parts of the code that govern npc and police behaviour I can't see much else changing.
Re: Dying Light 2 Won't Infect Much of Your PS5's SSD
@dimi not sure of the price in your region but £55 preorder on the UK store, even cheaper for physical, so not too bad at all
