It’s going to be a tough one. I want both, but if I can only afford one this year then I don’t know what I’ll pick. Microsoft says that now until Sony comes out swinging with trailers for major first party games coming to the platform, while Xbox will still be catering to the Xbox One crowd when Series X releases. I say the only way Microsoft has a chance of starting off strong is if PS5 production gets hampered due to the virus and doesn’t release until next year, but even then, that’ll just make demand for PS5 go up more and Sony will catch up pretty quick when it does get released.

Man.... 2020 officially sucks now... hope everyone stays safe and all, but by the time this is all over or close to it I’m gonna be caught up on my backlog I’m sure, and be in the mood for something brand new.

I don’t want a remake of Resi 4. Give the Resident Evil remakes a break and bring back Dino Crisis.

@Nyne11Tyme They better not remake RE4. That game has been ported/remastered a million different times now. If anything gets remade next, it needs to be Code Veronica.

Bloodborne 2 on PS5 is a must! I won’t stop pestering on about it until it happens!

2020 was going to be the year man, and it’s quickly become the worst... hope everyone stays safe and plays hella games. Looks like that’s all we’ll be able to do for awhile.

I mean, I’ll still be getting one at launch, but they really need to clarify what I can and can’t play on PS5. I have a huge backlog of PS4 games that I want to be able to transfer and play on my shiny new console this fall during the inevitable game droughts that tend to plague the consoles first year of launch.

Instead of churning out live service garbage time after time, why don’t they give their fans what they want and finally bring back Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell?

@Rooty1985 They need to just support Modern Warfare for the next few years instead of pumping out game after game every year. Give it a long break and come back strong. I’m not buying this upcoming game.

Dude, Silent Hills finally getting made would cause an internet meltdown! I hope this is true! The Playable Teaser was the scariest thing to happen to the horror genre and was so disappointed when it got canceled.

If they did continue with Geralt, then I’d want it to be a prequel taking place during the events of the books. I’d also be completely fine with a fresh face, or make-your-own playable character type thing happen as well.

@RevDrGalactus I mean, they already pretty much confirmed this was happening when Microsoft dropped info on Series X features, more specifically, the Smart Delivery feature. It makes sure you’re playing the best possible version of that game, and CD Project RED confirmed that Cyberpunk would be compatible with the feature. Meaning, if you buy it on Xbox One, you’ll be able to upgrade to the Series X version of Cyberpunk for free. Hopefully Sony has this feature too, because I’d like to get it on PS4 or just wait and see if a PS5 version is coming at launch.

I’d rather wait and hear it from their mouths instead. Nobody knows for sure what’s going on with all this, so there’s really no need to panic.

I was confused too the whole time I tried to play it on Wii U. It’s alright, but I just didn’t vibe with it.

Maybe after they do something new/original aka new IP? I haven’t gotten around to Lost Legacy yet, but will eventually. I would personally love another Naughty Dog helmed Uncharted, but I say definitely give it a nice long rest before making a new installment.

I don’t see why Sony just don’t go ahead and have like an 1-2 hour long State of Play detailing games we know are coming AND PlayStation 5 at the same time.

@Ken_Kaniff I agree wholeheartedly my man, it’s ridiculous at this point. Sony’s been silent, Microsoft has been silent, and worst of all Nintendo has been silent on their plans, when they have no reason to be because they’re not releasing new hardware. Like cmon, I know it’s gonna be packed year with already previously announced games, and I’m grateful we’re getting said games, but I wanna know what else I can expect this year that I don’t already know about.

Between Sony and Nintendo not sharing their plans for 2020 and keeping us in the dark, I’m just gonna go on a media blackout for a month until it actually happens. Kinda frustrating checking websites daily for news and nothing being said whatsoever.

With what player base though? Is it even going to be a worthwhile investment for them to change the game to make it actually enjoyable? I don’t see this drawing people back in, or bringing in new players. The general public have already made up their collective minds about this dumpster fire, so I say just let it die and try not to F up Dragon Age 4 or any more of their projects going forwards.

I kinda dropped off Duty when I started getting into the competitive scene in Pokémon Sword and Shield. I’ll have to hop back on when the new season drops for sure.

Screw multiplayer and start working on a Witcher game set before the original three, following along with the books. That’d be neat, considering I’m not at all interested in the multiplayer for this game. Should’ve stayed strictly a single player RPG

I say gimme a reason to upgrade, so bring on the PS5 exclusives! I mean, I was already going to get a launch PS5 because of backwards compatibility with PS4, but if there’s some killer apps that come out at launch then you bet I’ll be there! Meanwhile with Xbox Series X, I have no reason to get it right away over the PlayStation because none of the “exclusive” games are going to take advantage of the so called “most powerful console ever” right out of the gate. Halo Infinite isn’t enough of a reason for me to want to go buy it at launch either. I’ll keep playing my backlog of Gamepass freebies until tax season 2021, then I’ll look microsoft’s way.

I’d say just take everything they learned from working on Re2-3 remake and apply that to a Dino Crisis reboot. I think that’d be the better route to go.

We’re literally on the cusp of next gen arriving, of course there isn’t gonna be a full on blowout of everything they’re working on. Gamers can be so damn ungrateful sometimes. We’ll have plenty to play until the next big exclusive, stop freaking out.

Games I wanna see trailers for are: Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel with a little holiday 2020 at the end (wishful thinking), Elden Ring, maybe drop a new Halo trailer too while we’re at it! Resident Evil 3, and another Last of Us Pt. 2 trailer would be great!

I highly doubt I pay for this. I’m not really bothered by cosmetic rewards.

Hopefully this injects some life back into the multiplayer, and brings the player count back up a bit, because Titanfall 2 multiplayer is probably the best time I’ve had with a shooter this generation.

There’s no way in hell PSVR would even render this game unless you really toned the graphics/textures down. Have you seen the trailer? Source 2 engine looks insane, almost next gen. Maybe on PSVR 2.0 and PS5, but no way in hell will it run on PS4.

Well, I have Monday off and didn’t end up having to work any overtime this weekend, so that gives me three days to play everything really! My list will probably include: The Outer Worlds (Xbox One), probably start Death Stranding! So hyped about it! Got the collectors edition, but I just haven’t started it.... shame on me haha! Most likely hop on the Switch as well for some Luigi’s Mansion 3, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and some Breath of the Wild to do Trial of the Sword.

Oh great! First we’ll be getting Anthem with dragons, then not long after that we’ll have ANTHEM Effect Andromeda 2! Not real hyped or convinced they can do much right anymore.

Nothing to play until PS5 comes out? Speak for yourself! I’m buried up to my eyeballs in games on PS4 ALONE to tide me over until PS5 and probably beyond! Throw my Xbox One and Switch backlog into the fray and my god, I highly doubt I’m gonna be caught up before the big releases we know of next year and the launch of next gen Xbox and PlayStation. This generation has been stellar, especially towards the end.

Might as well release it next year, it’s probably going to broken at launch anyways so F it BioWare.

Instead of working on implementing micro transactions, why don’t they work on more playable classes for the base game instead of just having three?
