Dragon Age: Origins, and with that, the entire franchise itself, turned 10 years old yesterday. It's a moment worthy of celebration, and so the community is coming together for its second annual event named Dragon Age Day. It started off as an unofficial ceremony, but this year developer BioWare itself plans to get in on the act with a bit of a birthday bash.
Except, wait a second! Doesn't it say "Dragon 4ge Day" in that announcement tweet!? Is BioWare about to reveal the series' next entry despite the fact it's still three years away? The internet seems to think so, but that's not actually the case at all. Dragon 4ge Day was the original name for the event, as proven by the website dedicated to the festivities. This is a celebration based purely around the games that have already been released, so don't expect any news or reveals for Dragon Age 4.
Were you caught out by this tweet? Did you hope to see Dragon Age 4 next month? Let us know in the comments below.

Dragon age trilogy collection on PS4.
EA said they would love to remaster some beloved games after all.
I really want dragon age 4 too the point that I've already imagined the story in my head
I was actually hoping for an Anthem 2 announcement.
Still hoping for a remaster of the first one - one of THE best RPGs of all time IMHO.
@sanderson72 I agree blew my mind
They just need a bit of that old Bioware 'magic' alongside some coffee and counsellors to get this rushed our for 2020.
If they remake Dragon Age before Mass Effect I won't be happy. #gamer rage
Remake first Dragon Age please!!!! Never got to play it.
Might as well release it next year, it’s probably going to broken at launch anyways so F it BioWare.
Its all about Mass Effect this week, N7 Day, Mass Effect trilogy remaster announcement coming.
