Why don’t they try their hands at a new IP? Instead we get the same old game every year with a new gimmick. COD needs to come out every two years instead of every year.

ANTHEM is dead, Mass Effect is dead, and you know damn well they’re probably going to screw up the next Dragon Age, so soon that will be dead, along with BioWare shortly after. I have no hope for this once beloved studio.

If they announce it for next gen then I’ll just wait to get it for next gen. I have a huge backlog of games to get through on PS4, Xbox One and Switch so I definitely have plenty to keep me busy up until PS5/Xbox whatever launch.

Personally, I’d be interested in this game if it would’ve been a single player open world pirate RPG. Since it’s an online only title, they’re not seeing any support from me.

I’ll have to buy a PSVR this year now since the headset is being supported on PS5 right off the rip. Hell yeah, that’s tight! Also hyped about PS4 backwards compatibility because the rate I’m going, I won’t even have half of my backlog complete by the time it releases 😅

I’m not hyped at all, I honestly feel like they haven’t learned their lesson from ME:A and ANTHEM at all. We’ll have to wait and see I guess, but if it’s just going to be “ANTHEM with dragons” then count me out. They deserve to fail and be shut down if that’s the direction they take with one of my favorite franchises ever.

This is absolutely wild! Who would’ve thought all this time later they’d make a sequel?

Yeahhhh..... Safe to say I’ll be getting The Division 2 if I’m going to pick from any of the two new looter shooters. The open beta coming up will determine what I end up doing haha.

I don’t know why people are so cynical about CD Project RED these days. They haven’t let down yet, why would they now? Maybe the dude is working on Diablo 4? That’d be hella tight!

I hope Bungie has what it takes to keep going. This is honestly fantastic news if they can make it work! Think of how great Destiny could be without Activision’s interference?

I take it there’s not many metal heads here, based on the writing in the article.. I think it could be a sick idea, personally. Especially if they got vocalists from bands like Fit for an Autopsy and Oceano, it’d really sound hellish, in a good way!

This year was CRAZZZYYYY for games, but out of all of them I’d say God of War is definitely the winner. Santa Monica crafted the perfect story and I can’t wait for that inevitable PS5 sequel!

Red Dead Redemption 2, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Forza Horizon 4, and probably Monster Hunter World and Spyro Remastered since I should be getting those for Christmas.

Still kicking myself for trading it in... I actually loved this game but was short on cash at some point this year and yeah.. good thing is I’ll be getting it again from Christmas, so hopefully I’m caught up by the time this is out! Can’t wait!

Hyped but not hyped at the same time... we’ll see if this gets butchered by publisher meddling or not. I loved Inquisition, never understood the hate for that game. Sure, maybe it was a little bloated, but I mostly stuck to just the story and did side stuff just to get leveled up quick. Maybe they’ll take feedback from all the complainers and not litter the map with stuff I guess? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Honestly thought the story was good too, but what do I know.

I’m not nearly as excited for these games now if it’s not a new engine... they have A LOT to fix if they want to make it work next gen.

If I can ever put a huge dent in my backlog this is definitely one game I’d like to experience.

Just delay it to be a next gen launch title and actually put enjoyable content in it and up the ante in the graphics and gameplay department. The way it’s sounding currently, I’m not buying this EVER.

Really need to put some time into Spider Man and Forza Horizon 4. But I’m also thinking about picking up Blops4.

This is why Assassin’s Creed should take a hiatus... everyone’s burnt out on them! Hell, I didn’t even finish Origins. Even the new direction in gameplay doesn’t keep my interest. Take two, hell, maybe even three or four years off and make something else. Maybe put that team on Beyond Good and Evil 2 so we actually see it get released in this lifetime? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m not excited about Anthem at all. I want it to surprise me, but so far everything I’ve seen is meh.

I never finished this, because if I remember right I went into the last area not being fully prepared and kept getting destroyed by the “final” boss that wasn’t really the final boss.

Should’ve stuck to Deus Ex, Eidos 🤷🏻‍♂️

@Flopsy So... explain why Inquisition was bad? I’m still trying to piece together the hate for that game. It’s the game that got me into Dragon Age, I thought it was excellent. I understand the hate for Anthem, and Amdromeda, but Inquisition? Really? Was it really that bad? I don’t get it... 😂

I’m out of town this weekend, so I’ll be taking the Switch with me and getting my team up to scratch in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I might play a bit of the new Kirby too and some Splatoon 2 if I come across WiFi anywhere.

Still haven’t beaten Origins...

I’ll be on my death bed by the time this game comes out. 😑
