I hope they announce the end of ANTHEM soon. Just admit defeat, admit you F’d up so royally with this game that they just cut their losses and try a lot harder next time. Better yet, BioWare should just tell EA to F off and make single player games again.

Why only three playable classes though? Kind of a step back if you ask me, but whatever.

Ubisoft clearly didn’t have a cohesive vision when it came to this game, and instead of giving it more time in the oven, they rushed it out to meet quarterly deadlines... god, the current triple A games market needs to die... I miss the days when games were a complete package day 1 😕

They’ve got their work cut out for them then, because I did not like Mafia 3 at all. Played the first 3-5 hours and was thought the gameplay was pretty lackluster. The combat encounters were fine, but the rinse and repeat missions and bland open world didn’t sit well with me at all. Uninstalled it and traded it in while it was still worth a decent bit.

Welp, they’re not getting my money now. I was really thinking about getting this too.

@playstation1995 I mean, I too was a big fan of Inquisition and really enjoyed my time with it. However, I honestly don’t think BioWare have learned a damn thing from their mistakes and I’m almost positive that the next Dragon Age is gonna be a mess we don’t want any part of, especially if the live service rumors are true, then definitely count me out. Not playing Anthem w/ dragons, that’s not Dragon Age to me.

I’m not even slightly excited about Dragon Age 4 anymore after everything that’s went down with Mass Effect: Andromeda and ANTHEM.

Must’ve been because Bethesda wanted to monetize the hell out of it and she’s like “nah, peace out”.

@GodGamer MGS5 had better design and gameplay than Witcher 3? Now I know you’re smoking something whack. MGS5 turned into rinse and repeat missions and activities across two little maps. Yeah the gameplay was fun, I’ll give you that, but better than what Witcher 3 had to offer? Hell no. Also at least CDPR got to finish their game. MGS5 was my biggest disappointing game of the generation, personally, despite liking it.

@GodGamer Speak for yourself, I played The Witcher 3 to death myself and never once thought the combat or gameplay was boring. As much as I like Naughty Dog or Platinum, I typically only play through their games once. As for Witcher I feel like I can boot the game up and still find plenty of interesting things to see and do.

@JayDub It’s bloody CDPR, it’s NOT going to be bad. What, do you want them to play the full game front to back in front of you before you’re convinced?

@JayDub So because we saw small snippets instead of a full blowout that means we gotta go into full meltdown mode? Personally, I didn’t watch the demo because I wanna wait to find or for myself when the game comes out. CDPR don’t make s*** games, and it’ll be no different this time around. We have how long until the game launches? It’s going to be a masterpiece. Everyone’s always gotta complain about something, just our culture/society I guess.

Hmm... seems interesting. Hopefully it covers up the the end of the Buu Saga.

Hopefully there’s more variety in gameplay in later portions of the game.

@ApostateMage @ApostateMage Well, considering it’s supposedly being built with Anthem’s source code, it’s probably going to be Anthem with dragons and magic... so I’m not the least bit excited about this game anymore.

@Shepherd_Tallon Something needs to happen, ‘cuz it’s not looking good for BioWare. Either Microsoft or Sony should buy them, then give the boot to the people causing poor management and bring new talent in to salvage what was once a great studio.

I thought Devil May Cry 5 should’ve been a little longer, in my opinion, so I would love a story DLC or an announcement of Devil May Cry 6. But that won’t be happening for awhile, I know how this industry works lol

Nice! I wanted to get Wipeout when it first came out but never got around to it. Now I don’t have to pay for it!

The only thing they’ve got up their sleeve to announce is more monetization tactics.

If I actually get time to game this weekend, what with being forced into overtime at work today, visiting family and friends tomorrow and a concert Monday night.. gonna try and play Fire Emblem: Three Houses on Switch, Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One, and either some Spyro Remastered Trilogy or The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt DLC on PS4. Probably won’t get much time on any of those... but one can hope I guess.

It amazes me that a generation that grew up with shows like Family Guy and South Park are so quick to find everything offensive. Games shouldn’t have to shy away from certain topics and ideas just to keep the social justice warriors of the internet happy. Grow up, and understand the context of the themes and ideas of certain things that developers are trying to convey and quit jumping to conclusions. There’s a difference between blatantly being disrespectful and simply addressing a topic, learn them. End rant I suppose.

I still haven’t clear the base Persona 5. Gonna get around to it after Red Dead Redemption 2 most likely. Don’t really see much incentive to double dip on Persona 5 though, unfortunately.

I’d play Battefront 2 for free, just refused to give EA my money even though it’s typically heavily discounted these days.

With all the Cyberpunk 2077 hype, it’s made me want to revisit the wonderful world of The Witcher 3 to do the DLCs! Other than that probably some Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One and Super Mario Maker 2 on Switch.

@naruball Payback for Microsoft doing it to Sony this past generation as far as I’m concerned, lol! Maybe it’ll put a stop to it, or Microsoft will probably fire back. Let’s not act like they don’t have something in the works, cuz they probably do.

Sony needs to step it up. I’m barely on my PS4 these days, so it’s hard for me to justify paying the subscription, especially when it lacks value compared to how it did in the past.

As far as I’m concerned, they can keep that crap out of the States too. I’m not the slightest bit interested. If I can’t run my games on dedicated hardware to avoid connection issues, stuttering, etc., then count me out. If this becomes the inevitable future of gaming, definitely count me out.

I can understand it to a degree, but at the same time, if you’re gonna show me a trailer for your game and not give me at least a hint of what it’s like in action, then what was the point of announcing it to begin with?

There’s no excuse to be doing a behind closed doors demo when they announced this years ago and should’ve shown this in their briefing.

@Gamer83 I agree and I don’t get it. Nintendo had a great showing, probably the best showing. At least most of the stuff they showed off actually had gameplay, unlike certain other big publishers. (Ahem... Microsoft, Ubi, Bethesda)

This E3 could have been good if they would’ve had gameplay to show for all the new announcements, but nope... CG trailers that tell us nothing about how your game plays. Way to sell it to me, publishers... 😑

This has been a fairly disappointing E3 to be honest. If all the new games announced would’ve actually gotten gameplay trailers to accompany their announcements it wouldn’t have been so bad. But... looks like almost everything new that was shown off is more than likely being saved for next gen anyways, so they honestly could've and should’ve waited until later in the year to make their announcements and maybe had gameplay demonstrations ready.

E3 2019, the year of CG trailers and no gameplay. Love it!

Now let’s see if it’s worth a poo after the update and maybe I’ll be onboard!

I’m hype, but where’s the gameplay?

Keanu is a good fit for Cyberpunk to be honest, so I’m hyped to see he’s a part of the project!

It was alright I suppose. Pretty disappointed that they didn’t bother showing gameplay for a lot of what they showed off, but the reveals were still exciting.

I hope it’s something akin to MGS5’s recruitment system, not exactly like that but.. I dunno. I guess I’d still like to have a central character. We’ll see how it pans out I guess.

Another Left Behind it seems 😂 hopefully I’m wrong and it turns out to be really good, but I’m not counting on it.

Well damn, this is exciting! We’ll just have to see how badly Activision monetizes this first before I give em my money.
