Did the whiners not see the entire stadium reflected in a player’s helmet? What more does a football game need?

The console looked fairly ugly to me - the blu-ray version looks pregnant, and the digital one laying flat just looks plain wrong.

As for the games, most looked pretty good. Although the NPCs in Ratchet reminded me far too much of Jar Jar Binks...

A new FIFA, with empty stadiums, and crowd noise filtered in from the previous version of FIFA.

Failing that, then sequels to Monty on the Run, Paradroid, Combat, and something from Jeff Minter...

The last time I finished a game, it was Bruce Lee on the C64. So I’m not one to replay a game. But the Dirt series gets a fair whack of my PS4 time

Not really my kind of game, but the visuals and music were sensational, and I loved the B&W cinematic version with Japanese audio. I'll probably get this further down the track, if I ever find the time, providing the difficulty level ain't too high (and it ain't too similar to Zelda, which bored me pretty quick)

5/10, which I thought was pretty good guessing seeing as I don’t own any of the forty games mentioned (I’ve only had my PS4 six months)

Commentary in games is always appalling. And if I’m playing the sport, why do I even hear commentary? Just give me players yelling and crowds cheering/singing

Dirt Rally 2.0 is my favourite PS4 game. ‘Tis tough, and requires a fair amount of persistence (and much cursing), but when you nail a section it feels like a slice of perfection

Am I weird to not really care about specs?!! I’m a recent PS4 owner, and I think the games look and play amazingly, and all I care about are the games. Faster load times and patches would be my number one request, and that appears to be taken care of. We truly live in a gamers paradise...

Nine months before a console launch is such a good time to get riled up about it. Make your purchase decision now people! Do not wait until closer to release before making an informed judgement. And most importantly, purchase your console based on specs, not on the games it has!!

People playing on a different platform to me doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game one iota...

Very excited to be playing with this tomorrow. My life is currently short on free-time, so I’ll be checking out the community’s creations, but ultimately I’d love to create a few simple games myself (finally I’ll be able to play the top-down Indiana Jones game I envisioned as a kid)

To be fair, it was an infinitesimally small number of Nintendo fans that were irate about this. The majority are looking forward to playing it on Switch (based on the comments on Nintendo Life)

Exclusives, whether timed or not, are bad for gamers. They’re only great for the corporations. I can understand Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft creating games exclusively for their own consoles, but when other publishers do it, it disappoints me as a gamer.

As for Stadia, Google will probably drop it in a couple of years, which is still a couple of years more than most people care for it

I only just bought my PS4 a month or so ago, along with Uncharted (amongst five games). So I’m a tad disappointed, but I’m still playing Titanfall II from last month, so can’t really complain. The Goat looks like a giggle at best, but I’ll not waste hard-drive space on it. Happy gaming y’all

I just bought a PS4 on cyber Monday - my first PlayStation since the PS2. Currently playing, and loving, Gran Turismo. Next up, Spiderman
